Last night we had a cozy stay at Folger Street Inn & Coffeehouse . The hostess was very sweet and made us feel right at home. Next time we travel through the area for the Carrollton County Fair, we will definitely stay here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️UPDATE: My 5-year-old loved the dairy-free "cookies" I brought back for her. She let me have a bite and I agree, the protein bites were delicious.Rooms: The rooms are nice and cozy. They are very clean. Free wifi and TV.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Carroll county for a visit, this is it. Comfortable, Clean, Economical and Hospitality that is above and beyond any expectations. It was a wonderful place to stay and respite from stressful trave that was just what was needed. On top of the rooms, the coffee is exceptional. Add in theie Brewery, Food and Beer quality, my wife is still sad she was unable to bring home a growler of their Juniper Seasonal Ale. It cannot be beat. If you have never visited a small town and want the "Hallmark" experience this would serve you well. For those of us whom grew up in small towns and longed to see their renaissance, this is an amazing start.

A review from someone that pretty much lives in hotels and on the road. What a fantastic place! Peaceful, quiet, comfortable. I stayed in two of the rooms over two different visits the last two weeks. I love the open downstairs with seating. The rooms are large and the beds extremely comfortable. Given that it was an older gorgeous house I wondered about hot water, have no fears! The hot water almost deserved it's own 5 star review. I will be back!

This place is amazing! Love the coffee, frappes, cold brew and breakfast snacks. They have smoothies and milk for the kiddos. They always greet you with a smile. The owners took an old house and remodeled it into a lovely place to stay with the advantage of the coffee house for your morning coffee fix! Highly recommended!

Excellent. Really excellent. The owner / operators have done a great job renovating the building and providing an excellent space to spend the night and enjoy great coffee.My room was pleasant and well laid out. Attention to detail was apparent.Waking to the coffeehouse was also a treat. The Kaldi's Coffee was a great choice and the preparation was flawless.I had a chance to chat with both Joe and Abbie, the owners. They have a good vision about where they are going and how it fits into a potential revitalization of this rural community.Good luck and great job!!

I am sitting in the commons of this lovely inn at the moment enjoying a relaxing morning to my mini vacation to visit with my sister. It has a wonderful atmosphere — music plays in the background, the coffee dances through the air creating a delicious ambience and the flux of customers a positive interesting backdrop — all this creating a pleasant place to completely relax.The guest room is very pretty, the linens clean and fresh, and the bed quite comfortable with more than ample pillows. Staff is very responsive and friendly. WiFi available. Honestly, nothing negative to say.

I didn't get a chance to stay here. But my girlfriend who was getting married had all the rooms booked. So I was there with her getting ready. So beautiful! I wish I would have stayed. The motel we ended up in not so hot. The day after the wedding. We went to say goodbye to the bride and groom. The owner offered coffee and cinnamon rolls. We offered to pay. But she declined. Very sweet. Thank you for everything. I love your B&B.

This is a hidden gem! The coffee is just as good (if not better) than some of the most popular coffee shops in Kansas City, and the atmosphere is prime for getting computer work accomplished. The owners couldn’t be friendlier. We love it here!

It's a house they have converted into a business. It a quaint little place, and the people were very polite and professional. The coffee is great.. The selection not so much. If you in town and in need of a good cup of joe. I recommend stoping by and have a cup. There isn't any other coffee house in town. So what else are you going to do?

I found this cute “b&b” a place that I will come back to when ever I am in Carrollton. Abbie and Joe where both warm and friendly people. As an older lady traveling by myself I felt very safe there unlike other establishments in Carrollton. The whole place was clean and inviting. They serve coffee and a small pastry in the morning. It is just a few blocks off the square, close to everything in Carrollton. There 3 restaurants that I know within walking distance. My first recommendation would be The brewery on the square that brews great tasting German like beer and food. Thanks for letting me make myself at home.

A short walk to the square for a good evening of food and entertainment and then the next morning we had a choice of three churches in the same block. Beautiful, Clean, great mattress and towels, highly recommend!

I needed a place to stay for a couple nights while I worked in Carrollton. This place was just right. This place as the story goes was "just right". The inn keepers have been nothing but friendly and accommodating, and the house is beautiful - especially if you appreciate older homes. You walk in, and there is a small coffee bar as well as a seating area. There is plenty of charm and personal touch from the keepers. My room was upstairs in a quiet section of the house set apart. My bed was comfortable (no back pain in the morning), the room clean, and I felt very much at home. In the morning I ordered a vanilla latte with almond milk-and it was fantastic-just what I needed to wake up. I also had a lemon rosemary scone- which was wonderful.This is an old home-I appreciate old homes as I live in one built in the 1930s- it is wonderful for just that reason. Also this is an Inn/coffeehouse-not a b&b. You will not receive an elaborate breakfast-but that should not detour you whatsoever. The coffee is fantastic and the scone beat out many breakfasts I have had at many b&b stays. If you want a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay with plenty of character and charm-this is a great choice. As a business traveler this was a fantastic choice. If I were traveling for pleasure- this location would also be my pick.
