A year ago I would have given them a five-star rating. And honestly, Walgreens pharmacy still has wonderful pharmacists, kind and courteous techs, and nice, helpful staff. However, I'm concerned about this store. I have been going here since 2015 and I have seen some significant changes like the shelves not being stocked and faced. I went today to pick up my prescriptions and I had a list of other items I wanted to buy. Some shelves were completely bare. I just wanted some Gas-X or the generic. None. Matter a fact, that entire section looked empty. Seriously, are you guys going out of business?

It was one of the only places open on Christmas Eve. The young lady at the register was very friendly and upbeat. Found some good Christmas stuff on clearance for a good price.

I am giving a 3 star rating simply because of the pharmacy's hours. It's hard enough to make to the pharmacy on time before they close. Walgreens went from being a 24-hour pharmacy to closing at 6pm on most nights, even now being CLOSED ON A SATURDAY!! I MEAN COME ON!! That is EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT!! 😩I always liked the fact that you all were at open at least until 8pm! At least in most other locations anyway, they still are.And by the way, y'all need to change your hours on Google! Because it still says your pharmacy is open 24-hours!! Obviously, that's not true! 🙄Other than the inconvenient hours, the staff IS ALWAYS very helpful, friendly, and professional. ❤️

I have always used Walgreens in the past, and I’ve had rather good experiences. However, This experience changed my perspective. While I do enjoy being able to call and check on the app whenever my prescription is ready, I have had a tough time getting my location for my main pharmacy changed, and every time I call the phone number, I am always redirected to another line. I was redirected for different times today. Then, I went into the store and nicely asked for my prescription to be refilled. The girl refill Duron’s prescription, which could’ve been my fault, but then she proceeded to tell me that I would have to go cut contact the other store for them to switch my prescription over. I told her I had called multiple times, and she said she would help me get someone to help me further. Then, She never showed back up and never requested for anybody to come help me. I am very disappointed in my services here.

Went in tonight to get my husband and my prescription before leaving town for a week. Pharmacy closed at 6 because of low staff. Now I have to go 5 days with my mess. Start paying a decent wage so you can hire reliable staff.

Staff was absloutly unwilling to help me find an item. I knew it was in stock as the website says, they instead it was not and refused to help me look for it. I ordered it online for pick up and they magically found the product I was looking for. This is why I shop at CVS.

Went in for a heating pad and noticed the teeth whitening strips I use were on sale. The young man at the check out was very friendly to everyone. He went out of his way to help the lady in front of me find a very inexpensive item. Her total bill was only $2.38.He found the coupon I needed then asked if I wanted to apply a $10.00 credit from my Walgreen's card. Nice experience.

I have always used Walgreens but will be changing. Mis managed most people work till 5 pm and they close at 6 and it shouldn’t take 4 hours to fill a prescription. Terrible customer service!!

The pharmacy is most definitely not recommended the techs either rude or takes forever . My friends and I love Walgreens but the pharmacy is a headache. I notice new techs maybe they are seeking approval but as of today I will be switching from the pharmacy. I’ve tried with them but it seems the service is always a challenge at the window.

Made online order and didn't know how to go about it and my phone died. So I let it charge and went in the store to look if they had something. Went out to get my phone and a worker was standing at the door watching me and when I got out she told me she was trying to see if I was meeting somebody. Weird but got my online order. Very uncomfortable

I bought the Walgreen pregnancy test. It is around $12 package with two tests. They both gave me errors and couldn’t read. I called the store and they said that they do not refund for items that have been used.

Walgreens Pharmacy in Cape Girardeau is absolutely the worst. Took over an hour waiting just to get someone to locate my medicine. 10+ cars in the drive thru and about 10 people waiting in line. The lady who was helping people was so very rude. I hope they either hire more people or do something. Even while waiting they had to page multiple times for assistance in photo all while 2 workers were just stocking.

Just moved to the area a couple months ago and have been switching over our prescriptions at this location. The only problems I have is with the Pharmacy. They are super slow and I always seem to get the employee that doesn't know anything. They are constantly asking other people for answers.Edit 2-12-19I've had nothing but issues lately. They use a subsitute Pharmacist that is not familiar with certain programs associated with a medication, that tells people wrong infomation and then the other Pharmacist tries to blame the Dr office. Through several phone calls, trips there and contact with the program customer service and my Dr... they are still at fault. Pulling all my prescriptions today.

The Walgreen's Pharmacy in Cape Girardeau is the worst I have ever used. We waited an hour for a prescription to be told by Ben, the pharamsist that the Doctor had written it wrong. Ben called the doctor and argued with him He then rudely told my wife he was refusing to fill it. Total time lost 2 hours. Terrible service.

So I went to the Walmart on Kingshighway at about 11:00 at night and this young girl was in there I went and went to the ATM and decided to also pick up some gum because it was on sale for three for three dollars I proceeded to go to register she run me up and told me that my total was $4.87 I told her that wasn't correct and she argue up and down that there was taxes added to that and that's the reason why it was that much I've been proceeded to tell the young lady that that's not correct and I didn't want the items being that she was so rude in her approach and then went outside and came back in and there was another older lady next to her at the other register and I told her to ring the items up she then proceeded to tell me this over dollars and 16 cents the young lady then became defensive because I asked the older lady to show her what she had done to get that total since she seemed to think that I didn't know what I was talking about she was very rude the young lady was and very immature this is 11:00 at night and if she was tired or sleepy she should have stayed at home I feel like she need more training and customer service and also training as far as learning how to count money if she doesn't get any help with this I foresee that she will run your business to the ground in this area

Okay, so, coming from somewhere (StL) where there is a Walgreens every five minutes, moving to Cape Girardeau and TRYING to use Walgreens is BEYOND EXTREMELY disappointing!!! The pharmacy is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS understaffed!!! It's usuallly worth driving to Perryville (30+ miles away) just to avoid the unecessary wait time! Unfortunately, Pville isn't open 24hrs! Been in Cape for 2+ years & this has CONSISTENTLY been an issue!!! Every single time!!! Very frustrating!!!This evening, I was neglectful & did not have auto-refill on a script I HAVE to have. This medicine is not one where you can 'skip' a day/dose. Thinking I could take care of this & go to (my) Walgreens, I refilled online & drove the 15+ miles to get it. (I even called while driving & waited on hold for 20 minutes!!!) ONLY TO FIND OUT that the pharmacy was closed "due to staffing issues"!!! SERIOUSLY?!?!?!

They're sometimes a little pricey depends on what you get. But when you're fresh out the doctor and u feel like you're a painful zombie it's a quick one stop shop to grab everything you need and go home. U can also get nail polish and other random items here as well.

The pharmacy at this location is unbelievably slow. Every time I come to either drop off or pick up a prescription, I have to wait at least 15-20 minutes or more to even speak to one of the pharmacy technicians, let alone actually conclude my business with them. I don't know if this is an issue with staffing or just poorly trained associates, but I will probably be taking my business elsewhere soon.

Short Staffed. Sometimes they won't even answer their phones.If they do answer, you'll get the quick treatment of telling you what you want to hear just to get you off the phone with no intention of actually helping you.Call the manager and resolve the issue.Management does take issue with customer complaints and makes every attempt to correct the problem.Reasonable prices on most merchandise and prescriptions.

Waited over 2 hours for a prescription to be filled . I have never had this sort of wait or lack of customer service at any Walgreens. I will never fill from here again. CVS here we come

The worst service at the pharmacy. Not a single person is helpful and have the worst attitudes. I've called multiple times and no one answers the phones so I walked in to see how busy they were and everyone was just waiting around completely ignoring the phone. Worst Walgreens I have ever been too.
