I might have just found the worst Texas Roadhouse in the country.Salad is wilted brown lettuce, the potato is half raw and cold enough it won't melt the butter. The steak ordered medium (hot pink center) is not only under cooked it's COLD. This place isn't even busy.Hey, the roles were hot though.

The steak being extremely salty is the biggest reason as to why I put food to 4 stars, the atmosphere and service were absolutely amazing and I will definitely be coming back here soon!Besides the steak though, the blooming onion was amazing!A very popular place, so if you want to be seated straight away, make sure to call in advance, otherwise you might have to wait outside a bit on busy evenings!Parking: Enough space for parking, even when busy!

It is strange to say apparently, but this was my first visit ever at one of their restaurants. The staff was excellent and very helpful…even though we had to wait about 30 minutes for our table, the wait was worth it for us. I had a 16 ounce ribeye with sautéed mushrooms and a loaded baked potato and my date had the 6 ounce steak and grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes and gravy. Steaks were excellent as advertised.

I ate at Texas Roadhouse on 2/25/24 with my children and was a little nervous about our experience because they were slammed, but we were absolutely thrilled with the service we received from Alora! She is an incredible server- very friendly, professional, and efficient. The food was all delicious and arrived quickly after ordered, too; kudos to the kitchen staff! We will definitely be going back again soon.Parking: There is a huge parking lot, with ample spaces.

The reason I gave them a 4 is although I know they were very busy last night . We got there at 5 pm and was told it was an hour wait. That was fine, but then the hour turned into almost two hours. Since I have low sugar I thought I would pass out. On a much better note. When we finally got seated and I told my waitress Annie about my issue she promptly brought me a cup of milk , and that helped me , kudos to Annie’s great action.

I eat at Texas Roadhouse often when I'm traveling and craving steak. This location was conveniently located next to my hotel. I usually love Texas Roadhouse, but this one was disappointing. They were out of Miller lite. I had to ask for a water 3 times. My meal took 30 minutes to come out and the steak was well done, I ordered it medium rare. They offered to replace it, then ran out of boneless ribeye steaks. They brought me a bone in, that didn't have a bone. It was rare and very tough. It had no outside trim, like a ribeye. Just very disappointing. Plus, the rolls were over cooked and not soft. I left feeling unfulfilled.

We love Texas Roadhouse and the food is usually delicious- they always cook steaks right when ordered. The only downfall is I believe everyone in the southeast Missouri area has received a menu and the wait is always crazy! Thats’s why I didn’t give them a full 5 stars. Yes, they have the ‘call ahead and wait’ option, but I feel another process could be out in place such as making reservation times etc. Again, still a great place to dine in Cape Girardeau

Traveling home from vacatuon and had horrible experience at a Texas Roadhouse. 1st had to ask for rolls and plates. Ordered 2- 8oz filets. 1 medium rare that was undercooked and 1 medium well which they butterflied and way overcooked. The waitress was very apologetic and stated they had a bunch of steaks not cooked right. She said she would get manager. The "manager" came over and asked my husband if we wanted her to put it back on grill, he stated no. She then tried to say mine was maybe a little overdone which I had to show her definately not a little over done. She was like we weren't too angry, I'm not sure how you are supposed to act but she did a good job pissing me off. The waitress also profusely apologized for the manager trainee coming over as she was pretty useless.Waitress got her tip but I would never go back to this roadhouse or recommend it to anyone. My husband makes better steaks at home.

They were out of Fillet Medallions. I ordered a Caesar salad, and it didn't come with croutons because they were out of those as well, and After I change my order from the Fillet medallions to the prime rib when the steak got to me, it had not been dipped in Au ju, and it did not come with a cup of on the side because guess what? They were out of it. What is worse? The server did not tell me in advance that they were out of anything, therefore wasting my time on decisions and then getting a dry prime rib. Needless to say, I wasn't happy with this meal. It was only 630 on a Sunday evening. Why they were out of everything, I have no idea...

The food was fantastic but the service was abysmal. The front door staff were constantly telling people that there was only a 5 minute wait when it was nearly 30 minutes for everyone we saw. Our waitress asked us twice if we wanted more bread for the table and we said yes each time but she still never brought it. She then only came by once after we were served our food to bring our check, not even bothering to see.if we needed refills of our drinks. We spent $120 for 4 people to have dinner and the experience was definitely not worth the expense.

I absolutely could not wait to go I have never been so I took my family to celebrate my grandsons 17th birthday. To start off drink order was wrong then brought out salads they were wrong some wanted Ceasars salad some wanted house salads. Then half the food came out for some of the party then 20+ minutes later the other dinners arrived. Very disappointing.

Very disappointed they were out of baked potatoes and baked sweet potatoes. Waiting time was awful even joining the wait list. Once arrived and text we were there and received to gather my party and come inside .. still took 20 minutes to get us seated . There were plenty of booth/ tables open. Waitress was great .

Worst experience ever!! Waitress and manager is a joke. I can't believe I allowed them to treat us the way they did! Waited over an hour without our order! The manager and server yelled at us for our complaints. We left and will never be back. This place is a sewer hole!!! Don't waste your time!! Paid them for the drink before we left.

We were told an hour and 10 minute wait, after that another 45 minutes and then told another 30. We do not mind waiting and understand it was a weekend but i do not understand how it turned from an hour to 3 hours. I will say everyone was friendly.So we decided to give Texas Roadhouse another shot, our last try was less than stellar but all times before had been good. It was a Saturday it was busy and the atmosphere was good. Although when we did get our food the rice was not fresh and cold, the gravy had congealed on the chicken, although the chicken was good once i scraped the cold, congealed gravy off. My wife had ordered catfish and fries, the fries were cold and it would be nice if you do not have tarter sauce to go with fish ? Maybe let the people know so they could order something else. Overall we will not go back.

Updated review 01/17/21..Ordered the chicken fried steak (sirloin?) and the thing was almost inedible. Two bites out of it were good, the rest was solid fat and gristle. Disgusting and ruined my meal.Original review: The experience is based on preference. If you like the classic steakhouse experience with country music, peanuts and typical vibe, you can enjoy yourself here.My wife ordered the 10 Oz ribeye with shrimp. She said it was good but had a good amount of fat on it. She will order something like the tbone next time.I wanted the chicken fried steak but they were out. On a Monday night. Odd. Instead, I had the chicken fried chicken. Came with cream gravy but I got a side of brown gravy. The brown was delicious.

I had the sangria margarita my girl friend had a 🍹with a side kicker shot of patron...and a salmon salad 🥗 I had the tender steak 🥗with honey dressing. The dinner rolls were fabulous with the cinnamon butter. It's funny 😄As often that I'm in Texas... Stopped by in Missouri and went to the Texas Roadhouse. One day. Recommend, I'm sure it's not required. I seldom give 5 stars service was friendly and quick. Everyone at the bar. Awesomeness💯💫

We got the chicken critters family meal. Sides were decent size for our 4 people. However, we were very disappointed with the rolls!! First of all the picture with the online menu clearly has AT LEAST10 rolls. We only received 8. Also, Since when are the rolls the size of a mini donut??

Our reservation cam with an hour waiting time. No biggie, but then it took another hour to get sat. I get that people don't leave when done, but be honest about my waiting time when it changes. I could have made alternate arrangements. Once sat, it took an additional hour for the main course. WTH. Service was amazing, but I literally had time for 3 bites before we had to leave. It didn't have to be that way.
