Visiting Cape and so grateful to find a high quality local coffee shop and roaster. My wife enjoyed the Americano and I loved their Italiano with their own Kenya roast. The owners were both so kind as they served our family in a repeat visit during our trip.Parking: Street parking all around with being on the corner.

Nice coffee place, not really a place to hang out and enjoy coffee as the seating inside is limited. Not pet friendly.Black coffee only available in a blend? Meh, it was okay.Also got the Borgia, was good. Only lightly sweet. Very tasty.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to go in Cape Girardeau. The owners are personable and work hard to offer exceptional coffee and it is so delicious! Did I mention that they roast their own beans? I HIGHLY recommend the Lavender Latte!

Amazing coffee shop! A great place to grab a quick coffee or to rest on your own or hang out with friends. Coffee only, they roast in house, and really understand their product. I don't see any public electric outlets, and chairs are better suited for hanging out rather than doing work. Try their cortado!

A very barebones establishment that takes coffee very seriously. They offer types of coffee that few other places do, such as ChemX and V60 brewed coffee. Its not the most cozy coffee shop, but they are very good at what they sell. As a side note, they do not sell food at all, so if you like your coffee with a scone or donut, look elsewhere. Excellent coffee though. (V60 pictured)

I must say that if my review were based on my own experiences here, I would give this establishment five-stars. It is not, however, as I and some family members stopped by during a trip downtown. I love coffee. My family members like it a lot. Thus, we have a different perspective on what constitutes the taste of fine coffee. I was impressed with the coffee and the owners of the store. They were not. This problem originated with the fact that they only wanted coffee, and not a cup of fair trade, owner-owned, artisan coffee. That is what you will get here, but paying what I did for them was a waste of time. They were not impressed. So, I give four stars to warn away the casual coffee drinker.

The best coffee. Anywhere. I would put Red Banner up against the finest coffee shops in America’s largest cities. No one knows coffee better than the Britt’s. We are blessed to have them in our town. The cappuccino is my favorite. The only thing that comes close is a cappuccino in Italy. And they have consistently exceptional roasted beans for purchase. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I've never been disappointed by this place. The coffe is like non other in the area and the customer service is great. It's a husband and wife team that takes the up most pride in their product and service. We love it so much we bring our whole family of 6 almost every Saturday! There's a drink for everyone! Like most places downtown there is no public restroom here. This is place is worth giving a shot! 😉

Tried the place on a whim a few years ago. It's my favorite coffee spot I've ever been and I travel for a living. I don't go as much as I'd like but whenever I'm in town I make a point to stop in. Last time I was in was a few months ago and that was the first time in about a year. To my surprise they remembered me and what my usual drink was. You can't get that type of service anywhere nowadays. Best of all they seem to really love what they do.

Excellent cup of coffee, and interesting serving methods. On top of that I was able to speak with whom I believe is the owner about various methods to prepare coffee and what the differences are between them. All in all I'd say go over there and get a cup, they have multiple single origin coffee beans roasted on site, and sell both coffee beans and a brewed cup, so they have what you want, if you have never had fresh roasted and ground coffee try it from here.

You should try this place. Very small shop, but they are moving to a larger storefront right next door. This is by far the best coffee in Cape. If you want the small coffee shop experience, great coffee, and easy on the budget...this is your place. Look no more. I hear a lot of people complain about hours of operation. I can't dismiss that, but hoping longer hours are in their near future with the opening of larger shop.

Coffee is not as delicious as it should be, can't compete with Starbucks.The staffs acted as a joke for foreign customers, didn't speak English clearly and the staffs couldn't understand it. Not good at all. Between this coffee shop and  Starbucks, I would definitely choose Starbucks 100%.

Very glad I've found this gem while visiting! My husband calls me a coffee snob. I like to think I prefer to enjoy the finer things in life. So I'll do a review that will be helpful to most types of coffee drinkers.If you're looking for a drinkable double, they've got you covered!If you like your coffee black, single origin, slow bar, single cup, traditional capp or macchiato, cold brew, etc, this is the place.You're getting quality, intentionally made coffees here.However, they do have a couple sweeter options, including syrups, allowing them to please most anyone.Currently no decaf offered. No food available.I visited both days we were in town and I had an ice lavender latte with almond milk twice, a double, and also a lightly sweetened shaken double which was a delicious fun experience.

You get the best cup of coffee and it is always the same great taste every time. Robbie and Katie are carrying people who treat everyone with respect. He also roasts his own coffee beans to ensure that you get the same quality in each cup of coffee.
