So I’m a party city regular as someone who frequently throws themed parties and I’ve come to expect good service from them on a consistent basis. Yesterday I went and purchased a bunch of stuff for a party and purchased some latex balloon trees and paid extra for the helium that makes them last longer. When I woke up this morning they were all in the floor and I was so frustrated because I really didn’t have time to go back there but I really wanted the balloons.I cut off the concrete decorative bases to reuse them and went back to the store just to replace with something different. I didn’t have the receipt nor was I asking for them to be replaced for free. I just explained why I was walking in the store with these already purchased balloon tree bases.Gracie was the employee on duty. She offered to replace them and I said no I wanted to get something else than latex so they could enjoy the balloons longer. She offered to exchange and I still said no. I didn’t have a receipt and I don’t think it’s their responsibility since I didn’t bring one.Gracie then proceeded to help me find something else I would like. I felt like I was being indecisive and so I just finally said “that will do!” To stop taking up her time. She said “no. I want to get you what you want.” And so we continued until I found the perfect colors I wanted.As she’s ringing me up she calls the manager up. I wasn’t sure why. She said I really want to refund his balloons that didn’t last and so they did. It was a win win because I was actually spending more on these balloons so they still made some money and also they created an experience I’ll never forget and ensured that I will take to social media to recognize Gracie for going above and beyond to not just wait on a customer but to create an experience!! Gracie gets an A++++

Went in for a balloon bouquet and the cashier was very helpful with ideas because I had no idea what i wanted. She gave suggestions and was friendly as I waited for her to make the bouquet. Then she shocked me as she handed over the bouquet and said “tonight it is on us!” Five star service and friendliness!!

Just spoke to Diane over the phone. Extremely helpful, and very pleasant. We need 3 costumes for our boys, and I was able to provide her with what we're looking for, and she put me on hold, went into the store, found what we needed, and then offered to hold them for me so we didn't have to go searching! Talk about extraordinary customer service! All stores should be like this! Gold Star, Diane!

Good selection, good prices, great customer service. My wife and I made a large purchase there, and then accidentally left one of our bags there. We didn't realize it until a week later, and when we called the store, they had kept it under the counter for us, and let us come pick it up.

DO NOT BUY BALLOONS HERE ... PLEASE READ Their paper decorations for parties are great but the balloons are not worth the money at all... I had a problem with them at my birthday party so we complained but that didnt matter they just said it didnt have high float mixed in there with the helium so we made sure for my wife's party today. Needless to say they started popping one by one within 30 minutes of her birthday party sounded like gun shots... spending almost a 100.00 dollars on balloons is not worth 30minutes of time. Who stays at a birthday party for 30 minutes really.... not happy at all

Worst customer service ever. So apparantly there is a helium shortage nation wide, and they are not allowed to blow up more than 11 balloons. I'm assuming the rule would be per transaction. They refused to let me make a separate purchase to get the 6 extra balloons needed for our granddaughters Birthday Party. Even refused to let my wife come in and purchase because they knew it was for me. I mean wow!!! Who turns down money. So the guy literally standing behind me in line could have bought and had them blown up. .but not me?? Unreal?

The manager Don is very disrespectful ! Called the corporate office and made my compliant against the store in Cape Girardeau but they said they couldn't contact the store but I could wait and and might get a call from the district manager. I've used this store for 8 years ! I will not be back . I encourage everyone to buy on line.

I got 6 regular balloons filled with helium. The employee must have filled them too much because 1 popped in the car, 10 minutes after I got out of the car 2 of them popped and and 1 deflated 30 minutes later. Ruined my decor. Very disappointed.

The customer service here is the worst I've had anywhere in a long time. It wouldn't take long to get in and out if the employees would just check you out. I've been told to hold on and left at the register numerous times while they go chat with another employee. Meanwhile, 3 other employees walk by and go about their business. Won't be shopping at this location anymore.

False advertising. We searched their inventory online to find a particular product and it showed product available. I drove 30 minutes to go buy the product and was told they didn’t have any. Apparently their inventory was messed up according to a rude associate. Won’t be buying again.
