I had a terrible experience trying to just exchange an item that was a Christmas gift for a different size. The associate asked me to get the receipt from the person who gave me the gift, which I thought was rude. I wasn't asking for money, only to exchange. I gave the number that the rewards/ order would have been under. They claimed to not have found anything. Fast forward to my friend having to go in and mysteriously they were able to pull the transaction up under her phone number which is the same that I had given. I felt like they gave me the run around including the manager or whoever the associate called for help. The return/ exchange policy is ridiculous and they don't try and work with you. Customer service has really gone downhill at this store.

This JCPenny store is a very nice store. It is much bigger than the one that is closer to home. The selection is very good at the store with a wide variety of clothing for all ages. Shoe department seemed to be a little messy but it also seemed like most staff were busy with other tasks. Overall it was a good experience shopping here.

They were very busy with Christmas shoppers.One sales woman (wish i had gotten her name)was extremely friendly & helpful. Another, in a different area, was apparently not happy to be there & was not at all helpful or friendly, Christmas is not a happy time for everyone. The store itself was overstocked & shoppers are messy!!! Throwing things down rather than rehanging!!Dosen't anyone have manners anymore🙄

Waited for 25 minutes just to get someone at jewelry department, lady already working there was busy with existing customer said she is performing transaction 😕 didn't knew one purchase takes 25 minutes to go through. Beauty department associate came and apologize n mentioned she s not trained for jewelry but can ring up my other purchase. I went there with her in middle of my transaction she left to see brand new customer who was there checking out even though that customer didn't ask or call for help. I had to wait another 3 minutes to finish my payment and leave the store. Horrible experience would not like to go back there even if they try to give 5 star experience to each customer I didn't experience even one star customer service. Pathetic poorly trained staff knows well how to ignore valuable customers.

I have to wait for 25 minutes for associates at jewelry department, she was busy with another transaction and even though 25 minutes she was just busy with same customer for talking! How much freaking time one person take for one transaction to complete? Reschedule your employee training for "How to do transaction in normal time!" I'm not going to recommend anyone to buy jewelry from there.

Actually, I was at the Thursday Farmers market. Lots of good foods, from trucks, to fresh produce, baked goods. This is just a good experience.

They do not honor their return policy. I had a friend buy me a fragrance and I wanted to return it because it made me sick and switch it out for something else and pay the difference and they said no.""Without a receipt, items purchased at JCPenney are eligible for exchange or refund as JCPenney store credit. The refund will be calculated at the item's lowest selling price within the last 45 days, and will be issued in the form of a merchandise return voucher."

I was shopping on Dec. 23. As I checked out I had trouble getting my JCPenney card accepted. Your associates, Mason and Maddy, were very patient and trouble shooted the problem. Maddy came up with a solution and my card went through without any further problems.

Customer service almost non existent. Can't reach any dept or operator when calling. Some clerks are males dressed as females in a very unprofessional manner. Sure has gone downhill since I worked there years ago!

I personally don’t care for this store anymore, but my friend wanted to go in there and browse before she returned some items. They were very helpful and friendly here, and had a nice variety of items to choose from for both male and female shoppers. It was actually a good experience for both of us…in and out of the return line quickly and efficiently.

Variety was great. There were only e cashiers open and there was a line. One cashier in the very front and one in the very back. I hate waiting. I don't mind a few minutes but when you have to stand in line for 20 minutes that a bit ridiculous.

They about locked me in the store, because they were closing early. Besides that, I really like the selection of clothes (all name brand, too) and there's a whole section for kids. Although most of the products are expensive, the bright colors and fragrances make this place worthwhile. I would recommend the clearance racks, because the clothes are cheap, and a lot of them are cute, too!

This place is awesome!!!! Friendly helpful employees. I always hear them giving coworkers praise and support. The sales are unbelievable!! I purchased 3 real diamond necklaces original price $125 each, rewards customer special price $25. Then I had 2 gift certificates worth $5 each and a discount coupon I found on the JCP app. Final price: $17 and some change!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! My family will really be surprised for Christmas!

Got my glasses ordered at the optical center. Steve was very nice and even ordered to mail the glasses to me once they came in, so I wouldn't have to drive an hour one way to pick them up. Great service and I highly recommend them for glasses.

Friday as my daughter and I was shopping at the store we were greeted and asked if we needed any help in the aisles and when checking out she was very friendly as well. As we were walking out another one thanked us for coming in. Best customer experience that I have ever had there. Great job!

They are just civil. Some lady went over the top to be nice and it didn't feel genuine. Almost gave me a faint. I had three towels in my hand and she wanted to get me a cart. Lol. So it's about buying more.😁 some spots were dusty and dingy. Bathroom needs huge update and more handicap spots. ??Why would you put a baby changing station in a handicap stall? All places tend to do that ??We are accepting less and less and that's what we will get. I did see good sales. Staff did what I asked. Park free. If you know what entrance you want? Then you can be quick. Thanks 😊

I got my haircut from my hair dresser. She did a great job. Her name is Tracie. Just wish it would been a little cheaper since I just got haircut. But was with a senior person . Though you guys could be very busy if you think of these ideas. Thank you and God Bless!

I buy a majority of my clothes here. Always try to hit the sales. Arizona jeans seem to fit me better than other brands. I've gotten numerous tennis shoes and boots there also and always satisfied with the quality of there products.
