Went in to buy a weight distribution hitch for the RV we’re getting. We tried to find it ourselves but didn’t realize it’s not kept on the shelf and overlooked the tag on the shelf.They were somewhat busy since it was a Saturday, and I was working on public access training with my service dog in-training, so instead of wandering around to look for someone to help we went up to the register.They called someone to meet us by the hitches and by the time we got back over there an employee was waiting. He told us they keep them in the back and since it’s heavy he’d get it on a cart and bring it to the register for us. He quickly brought it up front while we were waiting in line, and once we checked out he loaded it into the truck for us.I’ve read enough great reviews on this hitch I felt comfortable buying it instead of the $800-$1000 hitches it compares to. We did get their warranty so if we have any issues we can exchange it without the box or receipt. That peace of mind is well worth it. That’s one thing I love about Harbor Freight. Also got the Inside Track membership online beforehand and they easily pulled it up in their system.

The prices are amazing and so is the selection. If you are a hobbyist/homesteader/backyard mechanic, stay out of here or you will end up just signing over your entire paycheck. We wanted to learn how to weld and even though we have zero experience, we purchased a welder and accessories. The power washer I wanted and can use but didn't actually need, now is at my house. The low prices will get you buying things you would have put off or not even purchased, watch yourselves. Oh and for certain other hobbies a little more intimate, yes check it out.

On 12-24-2022I went to the cape store to hopefully buy a part for my 140 titanium welder!knowing that they dont carry parts i went and found a lady that i believed to be a manager and asked her if she would sell me the display part cause ordering it would take to long for i was trying tofinish a xmas gift when i broke the tip on my mig lead ,she told me she couldnt when in fact she could she just wouldnr i must say that this lady needs to be removed she has terrible customer service skills for one and she wouldnt even let me explain why i needed it so if i could return every tool i ever bought from the cape girardeau store i would in a heart beat and i would return them straight to that rude inconsiderate female that has no business working with the public, !!!! I will honestly never give that store another penny of my money i wasnt able to finish the gift i was makimg and now i havre to wait 7 to 10 weeks vefore part comes when that lady could have ordered one gave me the display and when the new one came put it back on the display but no she had to be one of those people who likes to see people in pain and frustration never again will that store see my money if i could give negative stars this store would get a -5

I have somewhat an addiction to this store. It is the quintessential toy store for men. I have bought many many things here and I am always checking their coupons on their app HFCoupons. The reason I am not giving a 5 star is because I went there to buy the Titanium Unlimited 200 because I had a $100 off coupon that expired that day which was 02/03/2021.Well they closed at like noon on a Thursday because of that snow storm. I called the store the next day and explained the situation to a lady I am guessing is that stores manager. She would not honor my request saying that I had a month to come in while the coupon was valid1. How would she know how long I knew about the coupon which honestly was only like 2 or 3 days2. How would she know about if I was out of town or not during the coupon expiration timeframe and in fact I was out of the country from January 10th-18th in Costa Rica3. She doesn't know me and what my responsibilities are. I have a 4 year old disabled daughter that can not walk and cant talk in sentence form. So just going out can be tough. Pushing a wheelchair and pulling a shoppimg cart isn't easy.I was not happy with this lady I talked with so I called the corporate customer service number. Now the lady who's name was Rhonda that I talked with was extremely nice and helpful. She tried calling the Cape Girardeau store to try and persuade the manager to change her mind but she would not do it whatsoever. Rhonda ended up honoring the expired coupon because of the circumstance of the store closing at an odd hour. And she did free shipping and my welder arrived today. So thank you Rhonda!

Purchased a small trailer online from them. Arrived missing parts, so i contacted them they said mfg parts would be shipped out so i waited. 5 days later email comes in parts on backorder for 3 months. Literally no rush on their part they just fall back on mfg as acting like its not their fault that they don't carry parts for what they sell. Will never use them again they couldnt care less if your order is a mess.

I love this store!! I would highly recommend letting them put your phone number in their computer to associate your sale,otherwise any returns without a receipt will be in store credit. I would recommend shopping here often. And their tools are decent with a lifetime warranty.

We go here frequently to buy household appliances and tools. They have a nice selection of items, and often offer good discounts on a variety of things throughout the store. What I love most is they are dog friendly at the Sikeston store. I hate leaving my yorkies at home when I'm shopping. Everytime I've visited Harbor Freights with them in the basket, the sales staff are super friendly and compliment my boys. This welcoming environment is a selling point in keeping my family as loyal customers.

Dropped in for a return, was acknowledged right away by the cashier. I needed a 3/8 spark plug socket, she assisted me with that, she was very knowledgeable and nice. This particular cashier and I had a couple of laughs during my visit which made it quite memorable for me. I suppose she reminded me of my pregnant granddaughter whom I miss in FL. Store was clean and organized, a quick entry and exit which I prefer. Thanks H.F.

I have purchased many different types of tools from them over time and have not had one problem with them. I recommend them. The price for their tools is low and quality is high. The extended warranty that is offered cannot be beaten. Just take the tool back and receive a new one in its place.

The tools are not expensive but I've always heard you get what you pay for. I buy power tools there that I won't use daily. It is great for that and will save you money. The saw blades, tarp's, tie down straps, bungee straps, lighting and numerous other small items have been just fine. My everyday power tools I normally buy DeWalt, Kobalt and sometimes Craftsman's. My cordless drill is Black and Decker going on 4 years with me. I do shop here frequently just for certain items on my list.

I went there to find a kind of screw I tried to explain to the clerk what I was looking for. She said I never heard of that maybe the screws are by the screwdrivers. They weren’t. She didn’t offer to really help. Or find someone who knew.I went back up front and said I can’t find anything here is there an Ace Hardware here in town? And she gave me directions on how to get to Ace Hardware store their competition so I laid down the merchandise I had and I left. I guess they didn’t want my business.

Purchased a grinder and electric tree trimmer lawmmower jack. Minimal staff available. I usually find smart men in the store to answer my questions so I get the correct attachments, blades or tool for my job. Ive been satisfied with the tools i have purchased.
