I rarely go to this particular Dollar General because the aisles are always so cluttered with boxes you can't even get down the aisle. The employees are always standing around when they should be stocking shelves. I have posted a picture from today when i walked in & then right back out. Now I'm at a different DG! Btw this wasn't the only aisle like this & it's anytime i stop here! Ridiculous

Store is very well stocked. But customer service is a joke!!! I was not greeted when I entered the store, which was not busy at all!! I find the items I needed and get to the check out where a young man and child were cashing out. The cashier was very polite to them. Thanked them for coming in and told them to have a good day, with a smile on her face. Then it was my turn, and NOTHING!!!! No hello, no did you find everything ok, nope nothing. She told me my total, handed me a huge bag for only a few items of candy and that was it. No smile, no have a good day... Nope NOTHING!!!! YEP LOVE THE COSTUMER SERVICE AND POLITENESS!!!! NOT!!!!

I am bias cause I work there and it's only been 2 months or so but I feel we are getting better and better each day!! Our goal is to be the best in cape Dollar General in cape! I hope I'm doing my part too help people have the best experience they can when they walk through the doors. Everyone has there opinions but I hope you come in and see instead of just taking my word or anyone else!!

They need to have more respect for their employees. Most every time I go there is only one person working and doing every job in the place. Not a good practice. I only shop there when I must and I sure as hell would never work there. You all that work there can do much better than that. Go to Lowe's or something g where you're treated like a human being.

This location is very hit or miss when it comes to your experience.Sometimes the aisles are clear and easy to shop, but I feel like that is less often than when the aisles are cluttered with totes and boxes. That being said, this location is quite a bit smaller than other locations so navigating the aisles is difficult regardless of box clutter. I would be surprised if DG corporate keeps this location open in the next 5 years due to it not really fitting in with their brand anymore.On one occasion, I showed up to the store at 8AM and found the doors locked, despite the sign saying they were always open 8am-9pm. Me and a few other people waited a few minutes when an employee rolled up around 8:05 and unlocked the door. He then stated that he needed to get the till ready and it would be an additional 5 minutes. This was frustrating for me since my whole reason for glong to DG over a gas station for what I needed was that it would be quicker and cheaper. I ended up leaving the store after purchasing my item 10 minutes later than I had expected. It was an inconvenience instead of a convenience.

Dollar General has good prices on various items. Yes they even beat Walmart prices on some things. We have 3 D.G stores in our town and a new one soon to open! For people with low or fixed incomes DG stores are a big help. Good job DG!

Dollar General is always good for some pleasing bargains on groceries, cleaning supplies, holiday supplies, otc medicine and more. Nothing fancy, just great prices and a good selection for a small store.

I live very close to this store meaning I go there often & have for the last 4 years...it's very unsettling/annoying that their are multiple new hires regularly..in return not the best/strongest communication skills between staff, mngrs, etc..leading to poor customer service.. it's a dog chase tail scenario..corporate needs to "GET IT TOGETHER"!!!..ijs🤷‍♀️🙇‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Th This store had items that I couldn't find at other stores. They were either. On top of their game or the other stores hadn't received. Their spring items yet. I don't know which. But I'm glad. I did.

For an older store, this location has a large selection of dry goods, cleaning supplies and more.It's right next door to Patrick Furniture, in the same plaza as Food Giant Supermarket.

Dirtier than a 2017 Kmart. I am always afraid of the dumpster divers going at it in broad daylight... Clean that dirty store up. You actually give more products away in your dumpsters than you actually sell... Nasty!!!

This dollar General on Kingsway in cake Girardeau is very out dated cluttered and geared toward white Americans. I live in Kansas city. No matter where i go to dollar general rather in the city or suburbs i can find blank hair care products. Not at this location you can't. The best you're Gonna find is mousse. And it's pretty expensive. It felt very racist.

Store trasy and crowded. Can't get thru isles. Only check out & lady gossiping with customer while I and other customers stood waiting. Poor service.
