The worker at the window was too busy talking n having fun with co-workers. Talking about others who were not there. Busy cleaning the floor while the whole time my ice cream was sitting in the stand melting. When I asked her to give me my ice cream, she said yeah in a minute. I had already been sitting in line for 20 minutes waiting for the truck in front of me to get 1 bag. Will never waste my time again here.

Came on here to speak about the issue I encountered this afternoon. I see several 1star reviews that have clearly gone unattended. The worker who waited on myself, my two daughters and granddaughter could not have been more rude, arrogant, off putting or unprofessional. He literally rolled his eyes as I was counting out two dimes and three pennies to complete my payment. Then proceeded to snap at me saying "I didn't give you a number?" I said no you didn't. He then rudely stated I DID NOT GIVE YOU A NUMBER! He was rude to every customer who walked up to the counter. Placed 4 ice creams on the counter and did not bother yelling the number they were associated with so they could be retrieved. By the time they got theirs they were melted. Then proceeded to slam everything around while making the orders. If you don't want to work with the public, seek employment elsewhere! I will never enter this establishment again and highly recommend that you all stay clear from here as well. And Please admin of this page do not waste your time or mine sending me the generic automated "we are sorry, please give us another chance." Nor do I wish to be redirected to the sparingly handed out http that so few reviews receive. Instead contact the store owner and inform him that his inactions to all of the negative reviews are driving away his DQ clientele.

Went through the drive through at around 10:30 and ordered ice cream cones for my grandkids. My grandson ate all of his cone and was sick and throwing up withing an hour hour and a half of eating it. My granddaughter only ate a small amount of her cone and within the same time period (the children weren't together anymore) she started complaining of her stomach feeling sick. I had eaten a bit of her ice cream on the way to throw it away just to keep it from dripping down my hand and shortly after she complained of feeling sick, I was in the bathroom sick. I called the store to let them know what happened and they weren't concerned and told me it could not be their ice cream that made us sick. We do not live together, I'm the grandma, one is my son's child, and one is my daughter's child. We all live in separate homes, we were all fine when we went out to run errands together and then we stopped for ice cream before I dropped my daughter-in-law and grandson off and brought my granddaughter home with me. Then we all had problems with our stomachs. It just doesn't seem like a coincidence and they just didn't seem at all concerned. I hope no one else gets sick, but if they do I hope they let them know.

The lady that took our order seemed completely uninterested in working there. She wouldn't make eye contact, had a very rude tone of voice, acted like she was trying to rush us. We overheard her make the comment, "half an hour and I'm out of here" a few times. Sadly the rest of the staff seemed to have similar attitudes. We sat at one table and noticed a few ants crawling on it so moved, only to find more ants. Giving up on finding an ant free table I cleaned it off with a couple napkins and water. Our food wasn't that great, the French fries tasted funny, nothing I can explain just tasted weird. The atmosphere was very ghetto the place had ants the food pretty much sucked. Not going back

Used DoorDash. Ordered a mocha fudge blizzard TWICE now and still messed up. First time was standard mocha fudge... and all I got was plain chocolate ice cream. This time all I got were Oreos in it making it effectively a cookies and coffee cream blizzard. I had also added Cheesecake Bits option. Didn't get that nor the Chocolate Pieces in it. Seriously difficult to put 3 toppings in ice cream correctly or at all?? Photos attached is after I ate it halfway trying to find the bits in it after I realized there were none.

The food and service were both fantastic, the only reason they didn't get 5 stars was because one of the people in my party didn't get what they ordered. Since we didn't say anything about it, it's partially our fault for not giving them a chance to fix the mistake.As far as atmosphere, it was very clean and a bit dull with nothing but Nascar and golf on the TVs. It's kinda what you expect it to be.

Drive thru menu said 8.39 and I was charged 11.39. I brought it to the cashiers attention. She said it was because of my large drink but I was charged separately for that, then she said it was taxes but I was charged separately for that also. Then she refused to help me anymore the line was very long so I left I figured heck it's only $3 when I opened my burger the wrong one was in box and my fries were cold. Thx DQ!

Slowest and unprofessional. Waited in drive thru 30 minutes for one milkshake, watched one car in front of me drive away and 3 cars behind drive away because they are so slow. Once getting to window, I see one employee on there phone and another standing in corner doing nothing. They acted like they were hiding but was seen clear as day.

Every time I order an ice cream cone it’s always melted or the chocolate syrup is harden, I always end up waiting at least 10 or more minutes.Probably longer than that,I am tired of my ice cream not being how I want it to be,I won’t be coming back unless you guys fix your problem. I am sorry for the 1 star review but thank you very much for trying I might be coming back.

Piss poor service. Ordered a large cookie dough blizzard with extra cookie dough. Got a cup full of vanilla ice cream with some hardened chocolate syrup and they wouldn't do anything about it! Place has gone down hill with the people they have working there. Need to reevaluate their staff.

This was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. We had two separate orders, and half of one order was charged to the card of the other persons order. We went in and asked the cashier if there’d be anyway it could be refunded and charged to the other card that was used, and showed her where the order was charged to the wrong card. The cashier was friendly and asked if we’d give her a moment so she could get her manager. The manager came up, we explained the situation to her, and she said right in front of us to the cashier, “does she not realize that I can’t hear a word she’s saying?” About my friend and rolled her eyes. Then as we were waiting, the manager said, “I don’t understand why they can’t just Venmo it instead of bothering me about it”, so we of course asked her to just give us the cards back as we were going to leave instead of wasting our time being openly belittled, and she did not return the original receipts. When asked, she refused to give them to us. Got home, and our order was completely incorrect. Overall, the manager on duty was horrible. I understand the fast food industry can be stressful as I have worked in it, but there is no excuse for hatefulness like we were shown tonight.

Attitude typical of a lot of businesses in Cape. The kids at the window obviously didn't want to be there I guess because that $30 dollar minimum wage target hasn't been attained yet. Ordered two sodas and a malt, the preparation methods looked a little questionable with the malt, the young lady took the two large soft drinks (in styrofoam cups) and began to put them into a carrier, told her I didn't need one but she ignored me. Ruptured one of the cups but she moved deftly to the other counter and transferred the remaining contents into another cup. A young man decided to pick it up where she left off and moved to put the drinks into the soiled carrier but I repeated I did not need one. He begins to pass the three items out and I noticed something on the outside of one of the cups. I said, "Could I have some napkins please? This is apparently a lot of trouble, with a pained expression he reached to one side for a few napkins, wadded them into a ball and thrust them toward me. We were on the other side of town when I noticed a stain on my pants leg from the bottom of one or all of the cups. This place made my list of Places Never To Go Back To.

Food was 'ok' it was really hot and fresh tasting. Fries were old. When I was asked my order, I politely responded to the gentleman, and it was like he got flustered that I didn't immediately get straight to ordering. The young lady that completed my order was personable and respectful.

We ordered 2 banana splits which we hadnt had in years. Well this place runs out of bananas and we were inside the establisment and had ordered and sat down to wait on order. The lady tells my husband she is out of bananas so she only has a half of one left that the drive through got the last whole banana when we had already paid...never had any money back offered only a im sorry.

55 dollar online order. Got there exactly on time as per my apps 'done' time. They tell me they have it when I give them my details at the speaker. They proceed to lose my entire food order from the time it took me to get from the speaker to the window. All the time looking for my food let it get cold. Whole chicken strips in boxes were legitimately cold to the touch. Part of the order was just simply wrong. Needless to say my family was unable to get DQ that night, and I got a partial refund. They wouldn't refund the blizzards for whatever reason, dispite them being melted and disgusting after having to deal with the continued mistakes of the staff. Not a manager in sight during this entire thing.And just as an extra complaint, they're too lazy to go out and change the prices on their signs, they're about 3-4 dollars higher than advertised on their board which is absolutely ridiculous, I'm sure even in the fast pace of the food industry, someone could of stepped out there once since 2007. Sorry not sorry, DQ holds my place for worst restaurant in cape, simply due to incompetent staff.

I saw them bare handing my food, not a gloved employee in site. Didnt receive napkins and i was gonna let it all slide until I found a hair in my blizzard, so yeah that was my experience. Decent customer service though still a 1 star.

Went through drive thru at 8:28 pm on Friday 1/28/22. A lady came on the speaker and told me the ice cream machine was down. I asked her when I should come back and she said “tomorrow.” They didn’t close for another 1.5 hours. Instead of telling me to come back in 25-30 mins she said tomorrow lol. Little does she know, I was a manager at Dairy Queen for 3 years. There’s no way ALL the machines are down. Disappointed in management purposely shutting the machines down early to “clean” just so they can try and get out a little earlier. Terrible customer service and ran poorly.

So, the only reason I'm giving this place is a 2 is because their blizzards are consistently decent. The issue here is price. We got a fries and onion rings, $7.31! I could go next door to Wendy's and get a burger, fries, nuggets, and a drink for $5, just saying. I understand we are trying to pay people liveable wages but when you have approximately seven people in there working on a Thursday at 2:30 I have to ask myself if that makes sense.
