I haven't been to Primos in years, and it was as excellent as I remember it. As noted by other visitors, it gets busy at lunchtime and for good reason.The food is excellent! I had the breaded tenderloin basket with fried mushrooms. The tenderloin was thin and juicy, and the breading was crispy and well seasoned.The real kudos goes to the waitress who handled all the customers with speed and grace. I never had to wait for a refill, and no one waited long at the ice cream counter. She always had a smile.

It is definitely old-school style! It was once a drugstore from back-in-the-day and has been Primo's for the past 20+ years. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and my food was BEYOND exemplary — totally fantastic! My burger was hot and juicy and fresh off the grill, and the French fries were piping hot and tasty! I recommend highly!! And .... don't walk out the door without a milkshake!!

My wife and I, along with my parents, met one of my mom's closest college friends at Primo's in Canton for dinner. Since we live about 6-ish hours north-northeast of here, I obviously hadn't heard of this place and had no idea what to expect. We chose to sit outside in the patio area behind the restaurant, as it was a calm ( and not overly warm ) evening. We all ordered, my choice consisting of a medium 5-topping build-your-own pizza, choosing a thin crust and opting for double pepperoni, double ground beef and sausage as my toppings. Once it arrived I eagerly dove into my meal, assuming that it would be good. Well, this exceeded my expectations...this was some EXCELLENT pizza ! If you find yourself in Canton, are hungry and have some time to kill, do yourself a favor and stop here for a pizza -- I'm sure that you'll be glad you did !

This is a great place to go if you're looking for great food and friendly service. Their food is excellent and their staff are great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, not just to us but all other tables. They are great for families, but also have a very trendy bar for adults as well. They do have a dining room that is separate from the bar for families. I would highly recommend this place!

My family and I were staying at Wakonda State Park and it was just too hot to cook so we found this amazing little place to have lunch. Everything we had was fantastic and flavorful. From the appetizers to dessert we enjoyed every bite. The pizza was phenomenal and we saved room for dessert so we could try the ice cream. My husband and I had chocolate malts, daughter had the mint chocolate on a cone and our son tried the Superman ice cream. We will definitely return here every time we go camping as a wonderful treat on our trip. We definitely recommend anyone to check it out. The owners and our server were very friendly making us feel like we were regulars even though we were out of towners.

Maybe I just chose the wrong thing. Momo's pizza just didn't have enough sauce for me there are plenty of toppings on it but sometimes less is more. The small chef salad that I had was very flavourful though. I really did like the decor and I like that it's on Main Street. There were a few other businesses and I love seeing a smaller town thrive.

I liked the small town atmosphere. The decor was unique but great! Families, couples, young teens—all will be comfortable here. Fried mushrooms, onions, cauliflower, and cheese curds tasted very yummy. The pizza crust was amazing. The cheese on the pizza tasted like it was freshly shredded. Freshly shredded cheese melts differently that pre-shredded cheese. It just tasted really good. Hand scooped ice cream was delicious. Had our pizza there while observing the indoor atmosphere and outdoor architecture. Had our ice cream at the river scenic lookout spot. Lovely.

Great food all around. The pizza is really good square cut pizza with fresh toppings, great cheese and sauce and the dough tastes fresh made and soft. The sandwiches are all very good and fresh also. You have to stay and get some ice cream for dessert it finishes off a great meal. I can't say enough about the decorations they have a lot of vintage toys and old pictures of the area. They also have some very unique paintings that are hand painted by a very talented artist.

The Pizza was superb. We ordered a custom pizza w Canadian bacon, onion, black olives, pineapple and extra cheese. It had just the right amounts of everything and nothing was over powering. Then took a Hawkeye sundae home was good but very sweet.

Just passing through and stopped in Canton for the night. The hotel manager recommended Primos. We were thankful she did. Great atmosphere, friendly service, wide variety of beverage options and excellent pizza. All at a very reasonable price. We hope our travels allow us to visit again. If you're in the area, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

This place is excellent! The atmosphere is like a museum of the fifties, with old toys, old appliances, and some old encyclopedias on the walls. They also make a dynamite sandwich, and their onion rings are straight killer. The service was quick, and the waitress was attentive given the amount of people that were in the place when I went. If you're ever in the area, definitely give it a shot, it'll be worth the money!

Awesome local restaurant! Brought a group of around 20 in today and the staff accommodated us very well. Hands down the best place for pizza and especially subs (plus they aren't stingy with the meat like Subway). The appetizers are great, especially their toasted ravioli. Awesome ice cream concoctions like The Sandstorm and they do specialty drinks like chocolate Pepsi. One of my favorite places to eat in Canton.

Best pizza around! The burgers are real comfort food with all the fixins'. The chicken strips, tenderloin sandwich, shrimp, French fries, mushrooms and onion rings are fantastic. The seasoning is perfect. The sub sandwiches and salads are all very good. The lettuce is always crisp and green.

Very good overall experience! Pizza was great with homemade crust. Owners were very nice and friendly! Ice cream flavors were very good. Prices were very reasonable. This is a must visit location!
