Decent prices, especially on deli meat. The sandwiches on a kaiser bun are also great, and the smoked roast beef is to die for. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for the staff. The lady who helped me was accommodating, and did "lighten up" while I waited for sandwiches, but was overtly frustrated when I came in; and there was a bald gentleman with a mustache that was just flat out rude to everyone he spoke to, including a customer with what appeared to be a huge order. So, 5+ stars on prices and food, 1 star on the staff.

It doesn't get any fresher than this! Great shop for a variety of cuts of meats and tasty sides like twice baked potatoes, potatoe salad, macaroni salad, and much more. Also precooked and vacuum sealed products like chicken wings, sausage and more. Quality is outstanding. Prices better than grocery stores! I'll definitely be back again!

The Butcher shop has a great meat selection, you can cook it or they'll cook it for you if you call a little in advance. Best steaks I've ever had. Would highly recommend them!

I hired The Butcher Shop to cater my wedding. I loved how laid back the whole process was and our ability to move at our own pace. We did a tasting and knew immediately this was the food that we wanted. We were able to get enough barbecue for 150 people at a very reasonable price. The food was delicious and working with Chris was a breeze. They delivered all of the food plus set up the buffet at our venue in Buffalo Missouri, and let us bring back their dishes and coolers the next day. They do offer serving the food as an add-on that we opted out of. Looking back we probably should’ve let them do it because the food was so good guests we’re going back for seconds before everyone had even been served! I highly recommend their services for any event.

OMG!!!! This place is amazing!!! I went there looking for ingredients for Birria tacos. Wow! THE BEST MEAT EVER!!!! Also they have these smoked bones at the counter that saved me hours!!! And also added just the right touch! However I'm glad my wife only let's me have so much money to go there with ...because I would spend it all lol

We only moved to the area from the Chicago suburbs a few months ago, but as a family who cooks we are sure glad we discovered this gem. This is an old school butcher shop with excellent service and top quality cuts of meat. My wife has been back multiple times since we discovered it, and her various pot roasts, beef stews, etc. have come full circle to gourmet level with the addition of quality cuts of beef. I am going to be needing a brisket on the smoker for the Super Bowl this year and I know where I will be stopping by to get it. Such a blessing to have such a great local business that truly takes pride in its craft and is a pleasure to do business with.

They did an AMAZING job catering a party we had at our house at the lake! The owner and manager were incredibly patient and knowledgeable working to put together a spread that had many kids and adults. Also were very accommodating working around options to make sure guests with multiple allergies were taken care of. The food was a hit and made it so much easier for us since they delivered. Best of all, the price for everything could not be beat! Far surpassed our expectations. Will most certainly going back and love supporting local business at the lake! Absolutely one of a kind! The owners and staff are amazing and the food. Oh the food is AMAZING! Gotta get there early to make sure you don’t have to wait for more of what you want to be made up. Which they are busy all day long making the best food for your family or an event. Yes they cater too!! Or you can call and order your food and pick it up. Best cuts of meat we've EVER had, fairly priced and well worth it. I go regularly and always end up going home with more because the selections available are so good! Staff is friendly and very helpful, they always greet you and treat you like family. If you're entertaining and haven't been to this shop, don't wait any longer! So many great options. We are beyond blessed to have them right here in Camdenton too! Can't recommend them more highly, if there we're 10 stars they'd even surpass that! Check them out, you won't regret it!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Wanted to send a message to Chris and his team - You SAVED our wedding. Three days before our wedding the caterer (a new upstart company) cancelled. To say that I was freaking out would be the understatement of the decade. Having just moved to the Lake I had no clue where to turn, but remembered Crystal at Casa De Loco mentioning the Butcher Shop. I literally called Chris 72 hours before our event - not only was he calming and professional, but went above and beyond to get everything organized and ready.Considering the last minute SAVE - I honestly did not even worry about the food itself.....but then Saturday came and Chris and his team were there and the food was UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Seriously incredible - the most succulent smoked prime rib I have ever had, delicious green beans with bacon, potato casserole that was to die for and my personal favorite the strawberry-walnut salad!!! They set up, served, cleaned and were gone - smooth, professional and seamless.The Butcher Shop not only has unbelievable food but they are incredible people to whom I owe the success of my wedding reception! There is something about a place where you are personally greeted when you walk in the door, and receive personal service from the start. Every steak, every sausage, snack, side, or cut of meat my family has gotten from The Butcher Shop as been TOP quality, and we have NEVER been disappointed. (I highly recommend their Flat Iron and Sirloin steaks!) I'm a customer for life!

I visit the butcher shop regularly and I am always greeted with a smile and provided with excellent customer service. The meat is top notch and the selection of other items is fairly extensive. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and I would recommend The Butcher Shop to anyone visiting the Lake of the Ozarks.

Went in to ask if they sourced their meat locally and browse a bit. I had some smoked salmon I found while browsing before asking said question, but the response I got was "It's not very local and neither is that salmon you got there". Their website says "Locally Sourced"...? Needless to say that is the last smoked salmon I purchased from there. Clean place, but if they are a business that cares neither about their product integrity or customer relations then count me out.

Some have complained about price, but I do not see it that way at all. The price is very fair when you consider the taste, and health advantage of fresh local beef. I never have had a bad burger, or steak!
