Check out cashier was very friendly and checked my items out quickly. Prices r a lil steep but not much choice if it's the only grocery store around or open. It's always very clean in there. The kids all work had at their duties.

Very friendly help. Store is always clean . But the prices are so high. They do have some items not found in Cash Savers or our small WalMart. The prices on most items are almost unaffordable in this economy.

Soooooo overpriced on everything in this store! It's ridiculous. I'll drive anywhere else just to not go to this store. Back in the day, this store was awesome till the son took over and his wife ran all the prices up cause they are greedy!! I don't think I know, but a handful of people who actually go into this place. The owners should be ashamed of themselves

It's New Year's Eve & I already checked out but forgot to pick up something. I walk with a cane, so Robert, who checked me out, offered to go get it for me. That was over the top service. Thanks, Robert. I'm glad it wasn't too crowded near closing time

Woods is a good supermarket to shop at. The prices are a little high, but they have quality products. The service always depends on if they have enough staffing to accommodate needs of the customers. It's usually 50/50 on if you're going to get help when you need it. The Bolivar location added in self check out making that process faster.

Woods is an average regionally owned local grocery store. The owners struggle to keep prices competitive and offer quirky sales to cause shoppers to think they are getting a good deal. In my experience with the Buffalo Woods, some of of the staff were helpful and friendly, but there were also poorly groomed and outright smelly employees. While I was in college I worked in the Bolivar Woods. In my opinion the management has allowed passivity and apathy to creep in and the quality of the staff, product, and service have suffered.Just look at the photo that I snapped in what will be my last visit to Woods. The guy behind the counter has long dirty and greasy hair that is over his whole face. My wife and I never saw the man’s eyes or face when he checked us out. He said nothing to us and it was extremely awkward. How in the world are the owners allowing management to run their business into the ground? This worker in the photo who is so poorly groomed is not an isolated incident. It is like the management just believes that the customers of the store are just going to deal with the fact that the workers here are dirty, rude, poorly groomed, and seem apathetic towards customers. I won’t be dealing with it any longer.

I've shopped here twice, they've cheated me twice. Sale prices ring up as regular prices. Items on clearance and clearly marked with yellow stickers are scanned at regular price. Prices are also a lot higher than other area stores. Most of their fountain drinks didn't have lids for the cups and none of them had prices marked. Around their bread fresh bread section by the deli was all kinds of flies.

This has always been one of the cleanest grocery stores. I am thoroughly impressed with the upkeep. I think the best manager this store has ever had was Josh Schmied but I may be be biased because he is my brother.He is a very structured individual and runs a tight ship! Wish there were more managers like him…

I hate having to give a bad review to a local store, but a grocery store people depend on for fresh, safe, healthy food in need of this much attention is unacceptable. The people of buffalo and the surrounding area deserve better. Noone can afford to waste their money by having to throw away food. We have recently moved to the area between Fair Grove and Buffalo and decided over memorial day weekend to try a local grocery store instead of driving into Springfield. The store itself looked older, badly in need of updating and floor cleaning. The entire store also smelled damp and lightly of mildew, but we decided to pick up the things we needed and a few extras. While at the store I noticed several items with discount tags that were close to being outdated and chose not to buy them. Other items were brands I've never seen before or very pricey. When near the bakery/deli an employee was overheard talking about the hot food station either being way overfilled or leaking badly while a large tray of chicken was left out on the counter at room temperature for the entirety of our shopping which was well over 30 minutes. We chose to give the store the benefit of the doubt and we're let down. We bought 2 containers of cottage cheese , when putting them away I noticed one of them was outdated by 8 days. We bought 2 loaves of Sarah Lee bread dated well into next month, so far one loaf has been moldy two days after buying and the other is extremely dry. A bottle of wine we bought is off and taste like it's turned towards vinegar. We will not be returning and will drive the opposite direction to Fair Grove and if need be to Strafford or Springfield. The mixed reviews are confusing and I refuse to believe those saying it's "spotless" aren't biased from being somehow employed by, friends or family of the owners/management.

Great grocery store. Visited 3 times during our holiday vacation as my parents live right outside of Buffalo. The 1st visit, I wasn't amused, the cashier was not friendly, probably not from the area. The other times were great, very friendly. I enjoy the small town feel, we don't get that where we live.

I ran to the store today, to pick up a few sales items. We live frugally but still have plenty to eat. Even in these times, Woods always has a sale. I bought 5 pkgs of bacon to freeze. They make beans have more flavor. The clerk told me I could get as many as I wanted at sale price even though it said " limit 5 " and she even ran back and brought me more. Then she told everyone, they could have as many as they wanted. No limit. What a blessing. Last year I was checking out and it seems I didn't get the sale item as I thought I had. The lady behind me, paid for my groceries. True story. I told her " no " but she insisted. Another blessing. What no one knew was, we had a challenge this week. And all year. My son is going through a divorce. Works everyday and does all he can for his kids but the Courts haven't been kind. I will leave it at that. No need to smear Judge Henderson. She hasn't a clue as to the truth. Anyway, we keep getting blessed by strangers. We know Our Heavenly Father is in charge. To everyone who reads this, be kind to others. You never know the week or year they struggle through.

We use to go to Woods exclusively but in the past 3 years the quality of products has gone down and prices gone up way above those of most other area stores. As a result we do most of our shopping elsewhere. Woods does however offer a better selection of products then any other area store so we go if we can't find a needed item at our regular store.

Seems like everything I buy is outdated. I have Macaulay Degenerative so my kidsliik at the dates for me, things are always expired. Then, the store won't take it back!! Fresh food would've great!!!

Deli fried chicken sucks. We buy it about once a week for last 3 years. Tonight was mostly bone and breading.. Must have been a change. I do not recommend it

The deli/ bakery staff were slow and didn't know what kind of bakery items they were selling. However, their raspberry turnovers were really good and I always have trouble finding that flavor. Checkout was slow but friendly once you got to your turn.

For a very small town this is a very good grocery store. Woods carries a lot of products that you can usually only find in larger cities.

There's a problem with some of the products lately. Molded bread on the day it was purchased. Potatoes going bad and mushy in less than one week that were stored properly. Cottage cheese soured within usage limit.. sometimes upon opening straight from the store. Will only buy canned products if other grocer doesn't carry what I am looking for. Too much hassle to return inferior product for refund or exchange. Easier to get it right the first time with another store . I just read a review from a customer from two years ago. They listed the same exact problems that I listed today. Thanks Woods for putting in all that effort to correct those problems. NOT !!😡

This store is, hands down, the cleanest store. No mold in coolers, not even any dust on top of coolers. Over all, the store was practically spotless. Had great deals to boot.

Absolutely love the staff. Shelves are always neat and stocked. Thought they get extremely busy at times but never feels like your standing in line forever. Plus they ALWAYS have frozen Popsicles at hand.
