Nobody there 30 minutes before closing time.Been in this town my whole life. Sonic is the only place to go to get a quick bite. Used to be pretty good here. Now this location has unfortunately become a terrible disappointment.(Edit) 1 month later. It's a sad day in America. Love sonic but not paying $19 for a burger large tots and medium mozzie sticks. Guess sonic raised their prices again and will no longer be getting my money.Edit: mozzarella sticks were all exploded, no cheese left inside. Someone wasn't paying attention and cooked them too long.

Daytime service is outstanding, this review is strictly about evening/night service.I live right outside of town, and this is the only fast food restaraunt within about a 15 minute radius (either independence or grain valley, approx 11 miles either way) so it's just the easiest quick local dinner, especially after 9pm. Everytime I make an evening order after around 8pm (doesn't matter if it's weekday\end) my fries are always stale, cold, and hard. If i order a bacon burger in the evening, I would almost bet that i am served the bacon that sat in the warmer all day either from breakfast or lunch, as it is as hard as a rock and could break teeth. If i get a coney, it is insanely stale and almost rubber-like, which is revolting and no amount of chili or cheese could fix it. Please just change these practices, fries only take a few minutes, bacon is easy to make as well, and in a small town such as this there's no reason someone would be against waiting for fresh food within reason.

We just got a snack and a couple drinks. We ordered ahead in the app on the way there so when we got there we only had to wait a couple minutes. Everything we asked for was in the bag even the extra sauces. The mozzarella sticks were fresh and so delicious! Drinks were on point! Also as a side note if you are wanting somewhere with a drive thru this Sonic has one!!

The last few times I've been the sonic the ice cream candy pieces seem like they taste really old. Not to mention for what you pay for a cup of ice cream and then they only fill it half way. It makes you feel ripped off upon going. Also the tater tots that I got that day seemed as though they had been sitting there for ages they were not their usual quality

This has got to be the WORST sonic I have ever ate at.. sad it’s the only thing available in Buckner and we enjoy havin picnics at my daughter’s gravesite…we have been to this location several times and they still contuine to send out trash. After 50 dollars wasted on “giving it” another try.. I have decided never again.. I would be embarrassed to server the quality of food they do.. and need to be shut down..

This particular visit was not my best. I ordered a yellow cake batter shake and they brought me a chocolate shake. So the carhop went and fixed it but it wasn't stirred all the way and the flavoring was too concentrated like they used too much and not enough I've cream... But the carhop was very nice and tried to fix it as fast as she could. But I would rather it have been right... I don't mind waiting for that...lol

In a word horrendous. This is the third time we have been to this particular sonic and each time they have messed something with our orders up. Tonight they left out 2 orders of fries, my son's cherry limeade was all limeade and NO cherry, plus they couldn't even mention they were out of toys for the kids meals we ordered. The fries we did get in the kids meals were cold and borderline stale. On top of all of that we waited almost 20 minutes just to get our shorted incorrect order. When I went to get it corrected the only thing they offered besides the forgotten items and correctly made cherry limeade was a free drink token. I wish I could say this was an isolated incident. Really wish management cared enough to do something to fix these issues.*Update*Wasn't half bad, shlushie was the wrong flavor, but it was still good. Management has seemed to improved. Still a little slow, but given how everyone is short staffed it's understandable.

Waited in line slow as heck not that many people a good 30 minutes or more. Prices are now outrageous. BLT had big old chunks lettuce 3 pieces of partial burnt bacon 6 dollar sandwich crust was so hard couldn't even bite it had to cut it off. So slow as heck crazy prices poor food

Most everyone there is very nice, and sweet. However I did give a 3 star review because of one person. I believe her name is Jes or Jessica. Everytime I go there I try to be nice and ask her how her day is, say thank you I’m respectful to her. Yet she does not show the same respect. She is ALWAYS very rude everytime I have to deal with her, seems annoyed if I ask for sauces, always rushes me in my order and I have to tell her multiple times I’m not done, that’s I’ve only prefer two things, she gives dirty looks to you when you ask her a question, she is just not my idea of customer service. And I have given her MANY chances over the years never being rude or mean to her because you never know what someone is dealing with. But after today I can promise I will NEVER be back to this sonic until as long as she is still there.

Just came up there & ordered 2 cheesecake shakes & they were so nasty. It was either the cheesecake was bad or patches of the ice cream was going sour or something. I've never had something so rotten. Time after time having food not cooked all the way or wrong orders they have lost our service.

The food at this location is good. Plus when your cashier realizes you are driving a different vehicle plus remembers what you like for condiments showed me a really good customer service person. She treats people as family not numbers. That's why I keep going to my Sonic.

14 minutes in drive through wait time and the lady didn't even give me my drink I had to tell her what I ordered and got medium servings when I ordered large!

I live in the town this is located. I don't suggest the drive through as 99% of the time they don't get it right so you might as well pull into a stall. They get two stars because sometimes they get it right. Days or nights doesn't seem to matter when it comes to quality. It can be ok if you are the only one there, but that's hit and miss also. In the evening I've been the only customer and couldn't get service because all the people running the place were sitting outside at the picnic tables. If you're looking for disappointment they aim to please. Overall the service sucks, so pull into a stall and prepare to have your order fixed or drive off and pretend to be surprised when your order is wrong. Your choice!

Friendly and fast. Presentation of food could be better. It may seem petty.... But the drink cups are always sticky. So ask them for a napkin before they hand you a drink.

I was only customer in the parking lot. Waited 5 minutes for my order to be taken, 3 cones. As gal came to window she wiped her nose with her un gloved hand. After she took my money I was she she would next make my cones, instead we just drove off. Will not return to that location.

Not my favorite place. Very inconsistent and their ice cream is always full of tiny pieces of ice. What saves them is, their slushies and their flavor/fruit add ins make almost any drink possible. 1/2 price drinks always thru the App.

Ordered a sprite mango cream slush and did not taste it until well after leaving. It was horrible, I don't think they put any sprite in it at all pretty much mango syrup ice and a bit of ice cream...I could not drink it

Missing part of my order and when I called and told them, instead of offering to replace what was missing(which was my dinner) they told me they would cake it off my card. We haven't had very good luck with this sonic in a while.

I just cant figure out how hard it is to work at Sonic and get the order right. Apparently the crew at this Sonic are pros at getting your order wrong. It never fails. I quit going there, (which sucks because there are only a few options to eat at in Buckner)and went there tonight and my food was wrong once again. Corporate really needs to step in and get better management at this location.

I ordered one large chocolate shake and a chocolate Sundae I got a hot fudge shake and Sundae Jessica fixed it right away and got it to me very fast. Thank you so much for that my daughter will not eat hot fudge so glad she fixed it for me..

We had to put our order in 10 time's before she could get it. If it wasn't for us reading the screen probably never would of got it. Then they were out of onion rings. Our BLT had heals for bread no mayo on it very little tomato and onions instead . Never heard of a BLT & O
