I recently had the pleasure of shopping at Buckner Thriftway and was extremely impressed by the selection of high-quality products and the friendly staff. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find everything I needed. The fresh produce section was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Overall, I highly recommend Buckner Thriftway for all of your grocery needs.

Buckner Thriftway is a nice little, small town grocery store with lots to offer at reasonable prices. IMO much more accommodating and helpful than the Big Box stores. This is my go-to grocery store. They also have a gas/diesel station with very competitive prices.

If you live in buckner it's convenient enough. The prices aren't great and the selection leaves a little to be desired. But being the only in town market you really don't have a better option for groceries. The people are nice and they most anything you should need.

Nice little grocery store, I especially love the "red headed gal" in the deli, she is super nice to me and my family and everyone I know, she goes out of her way to make sure we have a great experience! It's always nice and clean, im always asked how my day is going by both the "red headed gal" and the store manager, Betty. I love shopping there, even if I didn't live in town I would still go out of my way and drive the extra distance to shop there. Its the people that make the difference!

I like to go elsewhere for meat and frozen stuff but it's good for produce and basics. Pretty expensive but I'm sure thats because it's the only place in town. Love the managers and assistant managers.

Great little hometown supermarket. Competitive prices too. And this store has good old fashioned hometown customer service. Great place to shop.

The deli food is really good but the red headed gal in there is lazy and has no work ethic. The deli is supposed to be open till at least 4pm, but she's already closing is down and turning purple away by 2pm. So many people would love to have lunch there, but they are tired of showing up, during business hours, and having that girl serve them less than what they pay for ( assuming she even bothers cooking anything other than chicken and mac'n'cheese) or having to be turned away 2 hours early every day because the employee wants to constantly do the bare minimum. It's no wonder people hate your deli, but but still take about how they wish they could eat there, but there's never any food. Why bother having a deli, at all? She clearly doesn't do any work, so why pay her to be there, losing you money and customers? There's just a little Food for thought..... Since you're deli never has any.

The only true grocery store in Buckner, it is good for convenience, and given the gas you might spend to save money elsewhere, the prices are not really that bad. The selection is what could use help, but unfortunately the only way this may get better would be by having a larger or remodeled store, which it could use, but I know how those sort of things take time. They do have hot food available and it works as a good alternative to the few other options in Buckner we have. Staff is friendly and helpful, and quick to open a 2nd register when checkout gets busy. They also have gas pumps out front of the store which is different for a grocery store, but cool for convenience.

I go here a few times a month. Has good food from the deli at a good price but some groceries you buy are past the expiration date so just look at what you buy. Other than that if you are hungry their deli is good.

It's great to be back home and get to go to a Thriftway. I have been going to Thriftway for as long as I can remember, and even remember as a child my grandfather buying me some fake blood for Halloween. They always have fresh produce, and the service and conversation you get here alone is worth the stop. Full service with liquor and beer, and usually some pretty good deal on some steaks. I stopped in here and bought a T-bone that weighed 1.11 lb and it cost me $6.74. Cant really beat that. All in all a quality store that has been around for years!

Good local place to pick up a few quick items, and they offer a good selection of brands/options on most common grocery items, more exotic/less common items you may find there, but you likely will have just the one option. Friendly, polite staff.

A lot of the people who work in there are great.. but their downfall is sometimes food may not look all that appealing, or they simply don't carry what I would normally buy some place else.

Always nice people and customers, I went tonight and asked a new employee where something was, since she was new, she wasn't sure, but went to ask. Another customer overheard and helped me himself. Little pricey, but it is a small town store. Support the lil people

Wish that our local store felt cleaner, it could use updates. I have to make sure and look at expiration dates on some products... Hopefully with new competition they might do something about all of that.

Would rate higher but quite a few goods on the shelves are way past their expiration date! But the employees are nice and helpful, and it's never very dirty or disorganized.
