I used to love coming here. I have pawned some cool things and purchased some cool things. Today I went in to pawn a couple things. The faces behind the counter were all new to me well what a horrible experience. First I'm told my necklace is worthless but I'm in the biz so I was willing to take a bit of a loss for some gas money but the kids say its worthless. I then present a highly collectable edition of playboy and am basically ran out of the store for being a heathen. They yell ... This is a family store as I go. If I were you I would avoid this place. After coming here for almost 20 years and to be treated like that....wow.

I didn't have much time to spend here as I wanted as it was getting close to closing time, but there is a huge selection here. No one greeted me when I came in, but they appeared to be busy and I can't really fault them for that. I will have to give them another try when I am in the area again.

I would recommend them to everyone. They were friendly and not pushy at all. I stopped in while on vacation but didn't buy at that time. I called them when I got home and told them what I had looked at. They remembered and they worked with me to send it to me. They did everything they said they would. Thank you so much.

Very friendly staff. They don't care if you're a local or a tourist they will treat you right. If you are in a bind they are always willing to help people out. I've done a LOT of trading, buying and selling here as well as firearm purchases and transfers and I have never had an issue. Plus they love dogs and are very nice to my service dog and myself. There's not 1 person there that isn't an absolute pro at what they do and they all individually have skill sets that make this place run perfectly. They should be the next pawn stars

Used to love this place and would frequent thos store often. Seems as though the selling prices have gone through the roof, buying prices have hit rock bottom, and their willingness to work with you have ceased yo exist. They will not haggle anymore and will get quite rude with people. I have had several negative experiences here in a row and it will probably be a while before I go back. Their inventory seems to be growing and I know why, prices are too high and staff is getting less and less friendly. Too bad because it's the only pawn shop in Branson, I would recommend driving 30 minutes south to Harrison for your pawn needs.

Really good people, they really work with you. Got something in pawn, been there 3 months and my technical due date was a couple days ago but had issues with my check etc. But they really worked with me to avoid losing my stuff. Thank you so much guys!!! I really appreciate it!!!

Tried to buy an amplifier for my home studio. I’m well versed in my musical equipment and knew they had no idea what it was. You’d be lucky to sell one of these even online. I offered $70 the unit is worth $80. They said they could do $88. I said okay I’ll still take it. My credit card proceed to be declined. The cashier did absolutely nothing even tho I knew my card was good. As I was walking out a staff member said the credit card machine was down. They proceeded to let me walk out the door. Must have thought I was broke… I wonder why …

These guys are an absolute joke on guns. I tried to trade a brand new browning AB3 6.5 creedmoor and they wanted to give a 200$ credit. They would have turned around and made 400$ on it. These guys are crooks, beware.

Had a great experience both times I've worked with them. I was able to trade my older guitar and an older amp for a pedal I've been on the search for. Super awesome of them.Also got my firearm from here, fast, easy, and nothing seemed absurdly priced.

These guys are super professional, polite, they know what they are doing and its a great shop. They have a good selection of music and tools and are they are real friendly and courteous, stayed late to finish the deal. They have the resources to do high-end stuff, policies are clear. Face it when you're hocking something it's not the best day and it's nice to know that you'll be treated respectfully, I highly recommend these guys.

Everytime I go in there, they all say hello and always have smiles on their faces. Great prices too. I sometimes have to take my laptop in and they take amazing care of it and my laptop is a rare one because its camo and Walmart only had them for a limited time. They remember their customers, maybe not by the names but by the faces and that is good.

Well you guys are not kenning how they treat just left there went looked around no one talk to me don't ask me any questions .. I went to look around and no one even asked me if I needed anything or ask if I want to look at anyting the girl the young girl was on her phone texting somebody the other guy was on his phone talking about internet and the other two guys were talking to somebody else so yeah you're right they don't lie

5 stars on how nice and organized they were by far the best one I have seen. The negative comes in with prices, there was a nice amount of stuff that was to close to the price it was new and the items were not in that good of shape. I even found a couple items that were price the same as what they were brand new. The quality vs price of the items was a 2 star. I understand it's a business and they need to make money, though they lost my business because was too much money.

The best pawn shop I've ever seen. Very nice folks. Lots of variety and they treat you fair. I had to get a pawn on my guitar for a couple weeks and they offered me TWICE what the other two places I checked had offered me. I'll always go to lightning pawn.

Not so great. Staff was mediocre at best. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and so greedy they let a sale walk out the door over $5. Must be nice that in a time like this they are unwilling to bend a little for a local resident. I reccomend you try somewhere else first. I should've expected the greedy and arrogant nature. After all this is an establishment that feeds off of the misfortunes of this community.

I went in with 2 AR’s, a 223 and a 300 blackout…and anAR shotgun. Offered just over $600 for a pawn. I’ve never pawned before, but I know a rip-off when I hear one. I’ll never be back…for anything.

I have used these guys on a few occasions because I needed to make payroll for my subs. They were up front and fair with me. They made a loan on some of my tools that I wasn't using and I came back and got them a couple weeks later. I probably wouldn't go anywhere else because I felt these guys do good business and they helped me out when I needed some quick cash. I hope I don't get in a situation like that too often, but if I do then I'll go to lightning pawn. I also bought a saw there.

Was struggling to pay my bills due to covid. They gave me a fair price on my guns and a reasonable monthly payment. Last year I bought a PS4 from them for a great price and it is still alive and kicking. Thank you Lightning Pawn!

I've been in there a couple times and couldn't believe the offer I was made. It's incredible how money hungry they are. I went to borrow or sell a 30.06. with a scope. It was only about a year old and just used on the range. Clean and no damage. I spent nearly $800. They would only offer $100. I walked. Same thing with some silver I had. They are greedy and their commercial is a misleading lie. I wouldn't recommend this shop for anything.. Oh yeah, the short guy with the black hair, avoid him.

I have been doing business with this people for over a year never had any issues until now. Just a little advise to the ones dealing with lightning pawn management, check all items to make sure they work properly and check for damages. You will regret it.
