My husband and I went for a relaxing weekend and were overall satisfied. I like that there's a bar, restaurant, spa and additional activities on property so we didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy ourselves. The drinks at the Library Bar were not too expensive ($12 for a signature cocktail) and they allowed "to go" drinks to take back to your room and such. The restaurant was overpriced for what it was, but it was nice that we could relax and have a drink with our meal without having to drive anywhere. The spa was nice as well. I wish there was a space that was co-ed besides the whirlpool, but other than that, the aromatherapy showers were delightful. Our room was on the top floor and while it was nice and comfy, there were things that had collected dust, probably because that room hasn't been used in a long time. Room service ended a little early for our liking and they would not allow a delivery driver to come up to our room, so keep that in mind. They have an app where you can order extra towels, blankets, or coffee and such and it's easy to use, however, it listed that there was a buffet breakfast and to tap and see the price and the menu, but that button didn't work on the app. We just had bagels and coffee from the sweet shop instead. The vanilla bean latte was great!

This place was incredible! They were not very busy so we had a little more freedom to roam the place, but it was really cool to see. They even have a movie theater, which was awesome! I would recommend staying here if you get a chance to be in the area. It give off an old chateau in the middle of nowhere vibes and it was a great experience. My kids took a while to warm up to the tenth floor but they got a little more comfortable before we left. The staff was friendly and helpful as well!Rooms: We had a suite and it was great for the family. We set up the living for some gaming while my wife and I enjoyed some tv and reading in the bedroom. The rooms are dated but they are dated with really nice things so it makes it pretty cool.

Overall, we had a very nice stay. The view of the lake from our balcony room was spectacular! The room was perfectly good, and the bed was really comfortable. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that it missed some of the little extras that are expected for the higher price. For example, sliding glass doors in our room (to access the beautiful view) had not been cleaned. The cold water in the bathroom sink was turned off. When my husband turned it on, we discovered why- it leaked. Thankfully, there was a second sink in the room we could use. The elevator had soda spilled and was not cleaned up all day. Trash receptacles on the grounds were overflowing as well during our stay. We also wondered why being so close to the lake there were no walking paths down or around it. Our morning walk consisted of walking around the parking lot and access road to the resort. These things were certainly not deal breakers, but to earn 5 stars, the grounds should be pristine.

The hotel itself was beautiful, and we had wonderful service and were treated with nothing but kindness and respect! Our waitress on Monday evening 3/11 around 7pm was an angel! I don't remember her name but she treated us with so much kindness and made sure we had a great birthday celebration. My only issues, were that the rooms were extremely outdated, and the bathrooms had several loose tiles/broken items. We paid more for a room that overlooked the lake, and it just seems like they "upgrade" your rooms, but the rooms themselves aren't actually upgraded. The shower was caving in in the floor, had orange water stains all over the tub, and the towels were surprisingly rough. I'm usually not picky, but when I'm paying for a "luxury" experience, I expect it.The other issue I experienced was a huge communication issue with front service desk. They accidentally put us in a room someone else was already in, and thankfully fixed it, but someone in the switch up "lost" the gift certificate my partner had brought from his job. They were very kind and apologetic, but it still happened and they have continued to try and charge our card the full amount as they still cannot find it, even though they have cameras having the desk and have proof of us handing it over.Food & drinks: Food and drinks were AMAZING! But expect to pay a minimum of $150 for a 2 person meal. But again, absolutely phenomenal and the best cocktail and food I've ever experienced!

Housekeeping was running slow upon arrival. Our room was not ready. After a 45 minute wait the front desk manager was kind enough to upgrade us due to our 5th anniversary weekend celebration. The 2 room suite that we received had a wonderful lake view. We were disappointed that there is no longer room service. The spa is always my favorite but we love coming every year. Rick at the bell stand was awesome and very helpful. We also enjoyed that the pool is now open 24/7.

I'm giving two stars because Kelly at the front desk and The Grille staff members are on point!! Great customer service from them. The view is nice too so I'll give that some credit. That's where it stops. My room wasn't ready until past 530pm when check in was 4pm. Kelly addressed that for me in a fantastic way though so I appreciated that. I went to the spa at 5:13pm and was basically told there was nothing I could do until 6. Nothing. Not an offer for a sauna session or anything. She basically acted like they would close any minute so I couldn't even relax there while I waited for my room to be cleaned. When I finally got my room, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned well. There was hair on and in the tub. TV remote didn't work but the maintenance guy took care of that efficiently. No streaming service. That was a bit of a letdown. I hate cable so jamming to my music is all I can do. I tried to call multiple times. No answer. Room service is supposed to be available until 930. I tried to place an order at 730, "we're not accepting immediate orders at this time" was the error I got. I called front desk, no answer. I'm not happy with the experience so far and that's disappointing. I guess I expected more.

One of the best hotels and my favorite!! Check in was easy and the staff is friendly. Chance took good care of checking us in especially since it was 10 pm. Beautiful views, gorgeous interior, spectacular property and great mattresses. The breakfast buffet was so delicious. It had made to order eggs or omelette bar, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, French toast , and much more. I can’t wait to go back

My husband and I checked in at 4am on 04-06-24 and was very tired and MS Vicki the night clerk was the best. She was very welcoming and kind and helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay very comfortable and pleasurable. This hotel is amazing it is beyond your expectations we will never stay anywhere else when we come to Branson. Everyone else there was so kind as well. I give this place 10 plus stars.

We had a great stay over Easter weekend, enjoyed the Easter brunch. Their service is amazing and so attentive. Lots of space indoors and outdoors for relaxing. The hotel is slightly outdated, but in good condition. They really need to add EV charging stations. There is only one, hidden in the garage, and you need to bring your own charging cord.

It's just not worth the money. The view was good and there was a fridge. That's about the only good things w this one. Took forever to check in. The shower and bath situation is not good. The shower nozzle unscrewed when trying to turn it on and wasn't able to get it screwed back in. No microwave. No tv guide built into the tv, so no idea what's playing (not to mention the remote batteries died). No breakfast is included in the enormous price. The balcony was as big as two chairs, so barely room to enjoy it. Parking was full all the time, so had to park way out. I guess b/c people who are visiting guests take up spots. The room had a vanity mirror, which was a nice extra, but lighting was so dim so it wasn't usable. For the price, I would say, pass. You are paying for the look of the interior (even though the rooms could use an upgrade in decor) with the fountain and tree and maybe the amenities that you will probably not use.

Went for a cruise recently and they had bottled water in the room for $8. I don't expect that in an upscale hotel room. Guess I should. On that note. As a registered guest I Do Not expect to pay for parking in the outside parking lot. Inside garage...maybe. But that should be part of the cost of the room, which was already $150-$180 including upgrade and taxes and fees amenities etc. Necessary to make a reservation at the restaurant, rather pricey, as a registered guest and pay to park in the parking lot as registered guests. Washcloths. Not one washcloth in the bathroom. One by the sink in the room next to the coffee maker (which was dirty). One. We enjoyed the stay and the view. This was a birthday weekend for my wife 55th. Probably will not be back.

Overall I would not recommend. I did recommend previously, based on our trip 8 years ago, but it's not the same now.We stayed in a Lakefront King with Balcony for three nights (Sunday-Wednesday) to celebrate our 7th anniversary (we actually got engaged here 8 years ago).Pros- Peaceful- Great views- Chateau Grille is a good upscale dining experience.Cons- Mattress was in very poor condition. Huge dip in center and was overall not comfortable.- Some areas of the room were coated with a thick layer of dust.- Housekeeping didn't show up once during our three-night stay. We were out of the room (and with no 'do not disturb' sign up) 9-5 the first day and 11-5 the second day.- Even with the AC on we were warm overnight. I'm not sure if the AC was limited to a certain minimum temperature (we could set all the way into the 60s, so it wasn't visible if so) or just couldn't keep up. Outside temps were low so I'm guessing the former.- We have to pay for parking now?.. (comparing to our last visit 8 years ago) Wild choice considering this place is 10-20 minutes from typical Branson destinations. We travel a lot and the only places we've had to pay for parking are downtown areas where parking is at a true premium, like in Chicago. For those curious, as of writing the rates are $10/day for non-covered, I believe $15/day for covered, and $25/day for valet.- Both visits to the Sweet Shoppe included waiting minutes for employees to finish conversing before serving guests.

Service was excellent. Water pressure in bathroom sink was low. All of the staff was very attentive and super friendly. Pool is open 24 hours a day and no kids after 10. View from waterside balcony was very nice.Nearby activities: There is access to a beach. Two playgrounds, tennis, pickle ball, indoor/ outdoor pools, and a nice hot tub, nightly movies. The interior view of the hotel is amazing. Trees, ponds, fish, sitting areas. Just an all around nice place.

COTL is a beautiful property on a big hill in Taney County, with amazing views. It overlooks the lake and Christmas time is a great time to visit. We’ve stayed twice now during the holiday season. They have a movie theater that shows Christmas movies or whatever is seasonal, they have a sweet shop with lots of beautiful desserts and snack options. The bar was very nice and clean and had lots of seating options and drinks. Also an indoor pool which we didn’t use but it’s a nice option for families. We also didn’t eat there this stay but saw a lot of people eating there and the food looked appetizing. As far as our room, we liked our bed it was super comfortable, and the room was clean, but the bathroom needed a few updates, there wasn’t a place to hang your towels for reuse and we couldn’t find any hand soap but when we asked they did give us some. The tub was slick and there were no non slip stickers and it was hard to get in and out of without using the rails. I do love this place but would love to see some updates soon! I can say we will stay again though because it holds a special place in our hearts as we’ve enjoyed good times there.

My husband and I arrived at 2 pm and the staff allowed us to check in early, which was very nice and convenient. We were in one of the vice presidential suites and the room was very clean and roomy. The hotel was not crowded and it was quiet and peaceful on the 10th floor. My reason for the 3 star rating is due to the coffee maker in our room being broken, which caused us to search for coffee in the hotel. We went to the breakfast area solely because I needed my coffee and our keurig was broken. This resulted in an insane, crazy, unbelievable charge of $25.00 per person plus tip, for weak mediocre coffee, and breakfast food, that is complimentary in most other, much cheaper hotels. The food was not good at all. Nothing special and it wasnt fresh nor very hot. Seriously how do you screw up bacon? Considering what we paid for the suite, to slap another $50 plus charge for what is a typical free at most other places breakfast is just wrong. We felt really burned by that and it really soured my whole experience at this hotel. I wish I had driven to a gas station and paid 2 bucks for what would have been better coffee. Don't go to breakfast! It's a major rip off. Dear Chateau on the Lake, free the breakfast!!!

Went for a long weekend. Check in was easy and room was nice. We left for shopping in the morning and when we came back our hadn’t been touched. I called and said we needed it freshened up and coffee for the next morning and they hung a plastic bag on our door handle with the coffee. The next morning we went sightseeing and when we got back, same thing. I called once and finally went to the front desk to complain and they finally came and exchanged our towels and emptied the trash. For the cost, we won’t go back!

Second consecutive year we've stayed at the chateau for a conference. Beautiful setting with views across the lake. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. On the outskirts of Branson so the traffic isn't horrendous, but only maybe 10 to 15 minutes into the town and all its attractions.Indoor and outdoor pool, spa and restaurant.

So far we just checked in, the room has no soap . No one from guest services is answering multiple calls. Our phone in the room doesn’t work right, hit guest service button and nothing happens . Dialing the number next toThe phone says it’s disconnected . We were planning on having dinner here but the slip that they’re gave us says it closes at 2. On open table it’s available . So far I’m not impressed.Day 3 update , for 2 days now we have asked for maid service , nothing. One of our keys to the room wasn’t working we had to go to the front desk and get it fixed. Went to the hot tub this morning at 8 and no one has picked up after themselves and no one appears to have picked up, dirty towels on most the seats. The good: hot water , when I use the automated maid service someone does bring us towels and pillows. The dinner was great, breakfast is good.

I’m writing this review after checking in, and will be modified accordingly. Our family chose to stay at this “Resort & Spa” based on its reviews and as part of a vacation wherein a couple of our family members were traveling with us from the Philippines. Just as we arrived in our room and decided to call the Spa to book an appointment, we learned they were closed every Monday & Tuesday, precisely the days we’re staying here. This effectively turns the “Resort & Spa” into a mere hotel. When calling the front desk to make sure we were getting the correct information, the representative I spoke with merely repeated that their Spa was closed Monday & Tuesday, not caring to offer any explanation or apology.

The lobby and common spaces including the bar are lovely. Upon check-in, we got a briefing that the restaurants had limited hours with no room service (the reservation did say no room service—I missed that). The room was clean but really dated which kind of made it seem less clean. The bedding was all sheets and crisp and clean—which I appreciate, and the bed was comfortable. Only one coffee cup was provided with the Keurig and no WiFi instruction. After talking to 3 people via phone to get the WiFi code, they told us to look on the key card, nothing, then corrected telling us to read the key card envelope for instructions… okay. The bathroom toiletries were fine and plentiful. The website dining hours for breakfast were wrong when we went down; the hours posted on the door were crossed out with corrected/ reduced hours in pen.We left for a day in Branson around 1:30 pm, and called requesting maid service whenever convenient. We returned at 11 pm and found the room not yet serviced. We called asking for towels and a coffee refresh. We told them we had called for a refresh midday; they asked multiple times who we talked to. We said, we had no idea who we talked to and would like towels and coffee. A nice frontline guy showed up quickly and took care of the basics. We chose to be outside the convenience of town and pay extra for a special experience including a lake view room. We did have a very nice view but we didn’t really want to spend time in the room or hotel for that matter—nothing much to do here and few if any dining options depending on the day and time. Overall, nice view, nice frontline people, but the rooms and attention to detail were mediocre. It felt very off-season, understaffed, and not well attended. It wasn’t cheap and tax and the “resort fee” added almost $200 to 2 nights stay.Next time we’d stay closer to town with a restaurant in or nearby (walkable) or rent a condo where we could bring our own basics like coffee and breakfast fixings.Rooms: Dated. Clean but very 70’s or 80’s version if “Chateau”. The online pics are pretty accurate but it seems more dated in person.Food & drinks: Lacking options. Sweet Shoppe had good coffee but they were “out” of several things. Nothing else walkable or nearby via quick drive.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. What a great way to celebrate our 25 year anniversary. What an amazing property. Beautiful in every detail. The staff was professional and attentive to every detail of excellence. Truly, a luxury getaway in one of the most beautiful parts of our country. My wife and I were amazed at the incredible gingerbread houses created by your chefs. Incredible! The Christmas decorations were amazing. We will definitely be back.Noteworthy details: Free movie theater.Sweets shop to meet every craving.Incredible spaces to lounge and visit.Indoor waterfalls and fish pool.So much attention to luxury details.

Lovely hotel. Remind you, kinda hilly drive; ozark mountains. Also reminder, its seasonal here so very slow during jan-feb.Staff was wonderful. Cafe is fun. Our room was changed unbeknownst to us for DMI dance meet. One of the managers assisted in upgrading our room. Wow, wonderful news for a family of 5 with babies. Excellent service; online service went down but they adapted well. We will be coming back.Views of tablerock lake are awesome if you get the view.Thank you again to the manager that upgraded our room, you literally saved and made the trip worth it, literally.
