I absolutely had a great time fishing with Chuck. He not only put me on fish, he put me big fish. Chuck was very patient with me as it was the time fly fishing off a boat. He has a great personality and I enjoyed his mild ribbing when I missed or lost a fish. If I make it back to Branson, I’ll be going back to Chuck and Anglers Outfitters for another guided trip.

Great shop and friendly staff! We were visiting the area with family and my son had been fishing for three days without catching a fish. I knew he was interested in fly fishing however, I didn't know enough to teach him. We visited the Shepherd of the Hills hatchery and stopped by here for some tackle. The owner took the time to correct the fly rod setup and explain to him how to properly setup and use the gear he already had. I can't thank you enough for the kind jester and we will definitely be back to purchase a trip. My son said it was one of the highlights of his trip!

Highly recommend!!!! Chuck is the best guide in Branson. He is patient and will teach you what you need to know to have a great trip. Had never been fly fishing and he had me catching fish with 10 minutes of being on the water! Great time!

Had a great guided outing with Chuck. Didn't know what I was doing but still caught fish. Very good at treaching this old dog some new ways to fish.Don't forget your polarized sunglasses like I did. Lots of fun ! Wanna go again!

Fantastic service for anyone that goes into this fly shop. If you have any questions they are more than happy to help. Went in there this past weekend and bought some flies had one come On Tide I took it to the fly shop after I was done fishing for the day and they re-tied it for me at no cost and ended up buying the rest of the flies they had in that style super friendly best fly shop in Branson hands down!!!

We had so much fun! Check made sure we caught a lot of trout. Chuck was great with my 8 year old grandson, teaching him about trout fishing but also about a the nature around the lake. We saw Bald Eagles, fox, geese and learned about the different trout. The working of the dam on the lake was very interesting. We can't wait to do it again. Thanks Chuck

Very nice fly fishing store. Nice variety of products, some trout lures, and hand-tied flies that were pretty sweet. Plus, a huge selection of fly tying materials that seemed reasonably priced.

Disappointing!!!!Our reservation was taken for the wrong weekend. I understand mistakes happen but there was zero effort to make a call or offer something for the next day or even recommend another guide...Thanks for nothing!Planned our vacation and made the 6 hour drive but hey not your problem...

Chuck Gries is by far the best guide on Lake Tanycomo and his wife Lynn ties the best flies in the state. This is a top notch group and they know how to catch trout, big trout too. If you want to spend the whole day catching fish and having a good time, Chuck is your man. Give him a call and reserve a trip.

Have been fishing on several occasions with Chuck. What a great time, and learning experience. Chuck has a great personality and keeps the good times going during your guide trip. The shop is easy access from the tail-waters, and has a great inventory for fishermen and tyers. Chuck has helped me out with tying tips too. If you are in the Branson area, make sure Anglers and Archery is on your 'must see' list. Book a guide trip ahead of time too. You won't regret it! Five stars only because there is no option for ten!

Outstanding local fishing shop close to the water. Chuck Gries can guide you to some excellent trout fishing year round on Lake Taneycomo. Stop by for your trout fishing supplies. Check the white board at the fly supply boxes to see what the trout are biting with Taneycomo's variable conditions. They also have spin fishing tackle and can offer some tips on how to catch em. Archery supplies are also offered at the shop.

this place is a great place to shop and shoot "Archary" i went there to shoot and paper tune my bow and the guy there was really helpful and knowledgeable any confidently answered all my questions he also help me get my sites dialed in i recommend them for all ur outdoor needs
