Cannot thank this staff and the vets enough for helping us take care of our Eddie. As soon as you walk into the clinic, you can immediately tell how much you all love your jobs. Not only were we helped the day of our call… But thorough explanation of options were given to us. Lastly, our vet went above and beyond to further explain how to reduce stress for our Eddie. Not only is our cat feeling better but he’s acting more affectionate than he ever has! Thank you all for helping us better understand the behavior and needs of our animals! God bless!

As 1st time calf owners, we were saddened that our Dexter calf was not thriving. After an overnight stay with a different vet, and a visit to yet another, we were still concerned she was not going to live. We decided to contact Bowling Green Veterinarian as we knew they had experience with Dexters. The staff was wonderful from the answering of the phones, to the vet who patiently answered questions. To complicate things, I was in the hospital in St. Louis and my husband was trying to work, save the calf and be there for me. The compassion they showed was unprecedented. Again, we had never been here before. They kept Kobe the calf from Friday through Tuesday evening, so I had time to get home and settled in. The dr did a procedure usually used on foals; it mimics the birthing and resets the babies...and praise Jesus, it worked!! We can not get over the difference it made! We went from 50/50 chances to vet being optimistic! I can NOT emphasize enough the top notch care. And when I called to get our balance for 5 day stay, it was LESS then the estimate. They literally saved this calf's life. They now have new clients :)I want to add that the other 2 vets did nothing wrong and the steps they took did keep her alive. And at that time, that's what we needed!

If you would have asked me two years ago I would have told you this is one of the best vets to go to but now I would not take a dirt worm to them. My mom has taken both of her dogs to them and both died in less than five days after being reassured that they would be fine and that they would make a recocovery. Most recently our dog started to have seizures so my mom took him in and the vet acted like she didn't have time for him "did blood work" and sent him home on medication. His seizures immediately got worse so she contacted the office and they said just double his dose he will be fine. She listened to the vet and that next day he had a seizure so bad he could not move all he could do was tick and cry, so my mom again called the vet (at 8am) and they stated that she would have to pay an emergency vet bill and that they would not be able to get him in until after 2pm (mind you they close at 12pm). I will be contacting a lawyer but I feel that others should know please be careful using this vet.

This place and the people who work here is amazing, This was my first time using them they came highly recommend, But my cat Carl got sick and I took him here and come to find out he was a whole lot sicker than I thought 😭 everyone kept in touch with me and gave me all my options ,It wasn't a good out come but the support I got from everyone there is so amazing and so respectful 💖 I even got a sympathy card from them the hand writing note made me cry because they understood what he meant to me so thank each and everyone of you I'm very greatful of you All 💜

First time customers here. I really liked this vet. Friendly, patient, and communicated well with me and my pet. The prices were fair and gave me options for medications. Beau didn't like the "butt" stuff but who ever does?

I have taken 2 of my dogs and both were equally not so pleasant experiences. First time with my lab they doctor was rude when I asked questions about my dogs after care and why she wasn’t properly cleaned when she had drainage after surgery given she was covered in dry blood. Today i went again because they were the only one’s available unless I wanted to go to Columbia and I didn’t want to drive out that far because my heeler needed to be seen asap after being hit and possibly a broken leg. After all I paid (I still owe more) I don’t think he was properly taken care of. His wounds were not bandaged at all and I’m supposed to pay for supplies they didn’t use. Over all I’m not very satisfied.

I recently had to bring my injured cat (Jerry) in multiple times over the course of a couple weeks; with him having to stay overnight a hand full of days. Dr. Bowers and staff kept me updated with Jerry’s progress at every up and down. We sadly had to let him go over the rainbow bridge as his health just continued to decline. Dr. Bowers and staff were very compassionate and did their best to get him better. We are forever grateful!

Houston was handled with sensitivity to his anxiety about treatment and leaving me in the room. The vet was confident and interactive, educating appropriately. She gave me an opportunity to ask questions and answered them clearly.

First time taking my cat here. Having to find a new vet, my husband had taken our dog previously. He was happy with his experience. I made an appointment with one vet and got a different one. I didn't realize this until I read my receipt, because she did not introduce herself. She also needs experience in handling a cat. The helper with her should have helped hold the cat still, I stepped in to help. I will return to the clinic but will make sure I get the vet I ask for.

We needed emergency care for our 13yr old dog Bella after hours on a Sunday evening. The Dr that answered the ph call was so kind and patiently listened to me describe what was going on with our sweet ol' girl. Within mins we were ending our call and heading to the facility to meet her & vet tech there. Sadly we had to let Bella go. Please know that the care and compassion we received was and is beyond words. The clinic followed up with a handwritten card expressing such caring thoughts and prayers. I can't say enough good about this clinic....this has been our one and only contact with them since we had just moved here. When we are ready for our next fur baby, Bowling Green Vet clinic will be our vet. 💜 bless the entire staff

My poor kitty spent most of the last week of her life there. She wasn't the friendliest cat, but they did everything they could for her. They even sent home a casting if her paw. Thank you to the Doctors and techs for taking care of our Bizzee❤️

Saw how they handled a friend of mines dying horse a few weeks ago. Refused to euthanize unless full payment was made - meaning they were fully ok with letting a horse suffer in immense pain unless they got their paycheck. Pay mind to the reviews saying they're money hungry and show no empathy. The two girl vets that showed up decided to go get dinner in town and leave the horse in pain till she could find money. They refused to come back out unless she did (on top of leaving the horse in pain for hours before responding to an emergency call) Disgusting office and I'll never recommend them to anyone.

The staff and the doctors at Bowling Green Veterinary office are so friendly and professional. My dog had a good deal of surgery there and is doing great one day later! Her sutures are beautiful! Couldn't be happier about how it all went, and the price was reasonable too. Highly Recommend! Thank you everyone there at Bowling Green Veterinary! :) :)

Dr Bowers is awesome! I thought my 17 yr old cat surely had cancer given his age and severe weight loss, but she recommended senior blood work and diagnosed his hyperthyroidism. She reviewed medication options and connected me with a compounding pharmacy so I could conveniently apply medicine to his ear. He has transformed! It’s remarkable how much weight he gained. It’s great to have a vet who is so caring, competent and trustworthy! Will never go anywhere else!!

This is a AMAZING vet. We found a cat with a broken tail brought him in and they fixed him up and gave him meds. It was a pleasant trip and affordable. I will be using this vet again and my new kitty approves (Lil Wotey) 💗

Dr Perry is sub par to say the least. Short long is she treated our horse, created more problems and took ZERO accountability for her actions then charged us more and STILL couldn't resolve the issue she created. Needless to say, we wouldn't bring a hamster to this place. When pride and money control your life, you are truly poor. Don't waist your time or money here like we did.

They will work with you on payments plans with down payment and bi weekly payments..well if you're an old white lady they will. Sick that vets can turn away a severely hurt animal even with a big down payment and then say they don't do payment plans when I have someone I know that uses them and ALWAYS gets a payment plan with part down. Sick excuse of a vet only worried about money!
