Slightly overpriced and not as a wide range of farm and pet feed as thought. There’s a lot of equipment, tools, farm & him supplies, general goods and groceries too. Plenty of parking space and the store is handicap accessible.Overall, the store is huge, well kept, and the employees are nice and helpful. Would recommend.

Had to dig thru Bins that were just pulled up on pallets to find the right drawer with bolts n nuts. Very unsafe.

Employees are rude, not helpful, and do not care. Wouldn't even bag someone's stuff at the register when asked. I have been in several times with the same service. Me and my 60 year old mom moved and loaded fencing, straw bales, and posts into my truck bc no one would help us.

Love this Orscheln's really hate to think Tractor Supply is taking over hoping Buchheits will go in it's place Tractor Supply is way more expensive. If Tractor Supply takes over I'll have to find a different place to get livestock feed. Orscheln's carries everything I need at any affordable price. The staff there is so helpful and always kind and friendly.

Small town ambiance with Big City Service! The Assistant Store Manager,sorry-did not get a Name,is a Wizard in cutting Car Keys to Perfection! Also found a few Tools and Nick-Nacks I didn't know I needed! LOL Overall,a very good store. I hope Buchheit leaves this one be. No judgement;why change a good thing?

I have not been overly impressed with the staff at the Boonville orschelns Farm and Home Store. I purchased a $1,200 log splitter from them last year and when I made the agreement to buy it I was told that I needed to wait 3 days so that they could set it up and put the hydraulic fluid in it and get it ready to go. When I arrived to pick it up none of that had taken place I was told by the assistant manager on duty that he didn't know anything about it. If you look in the sales ad it tells you that they will put the hydraulic fluid and make sure everything is ready to go when you pick it up but these guys had failed to follow through with a standard procedure.

Paid $9.00 for a bail of straw. I found the straw on my way out over in a corner of the front. No price was posted. Went back in to buy it. I found out the price at check out. This is a typical experience for me at Orschlens.

I am very glad to have an Orscheln Farm and Home in Boonville. Pretty good place to get things you need. The staff are very helpful, they always say hello, and they make it have a hometown feel. Friendly atmosphere. I have shopped here my entire life, and my kids enjoy the store too. If they don't do Peanut Days, I hope they bring that back... Cool old tradition!

Absolutely a delight to shop here. They have always had the ammo I want at very reasonable prices. As well as dog food and treats for my four legged companion (who is welcome in the store). Last time I went I let him pick out his own dog food and it's worked great for him ever since. Friendly staff are a bonus in my opinion but they've never let me down and these people are friendly. I recommend stopping in here for just about anything you need from pet treats to farm supplies and even clothes that are pretty nice for work. This is a great place to do business in Columbia.

I had called to make sure they could cut 16 foot cattle panels in half several days prior to purchasing. I told cashier that I needed them cut in half to fit in my truck. Went out to the outdoor area. 2 clerks, Austin and Colton, said they were not allowed to do this. I asked to talk to manager Mark. Mark had spoken to Austin and Colton and then avoided me in the aisl. The 2 guys cut the panels poorly. Several would not fit in my truc k because they had cut them wrong. Again talked to manager. He had to come and cut them properly. I will be communicating this to corporate Orschelns about this experience.

I really like this store. It isn't just a feed store anymore. They carry nice cloths and some really beautiful decor.

I looked around the store for about 10 minutes hoping to find what I wanted without needing assistance. I was looking for a squeegee for window washing. I could not find it so I looked around the store for another ten minutes trying to find help. I finally saw a young man wearing no uniform or anything to identify him as an employee. I asked him if the store stocked such itm and he replied " I dunno, but if we do it would be back by the paint (pointing in the direction of the paint" and walked on by me. Incredibly poor customer service and I think that the floor sales person needs to be reinstated as needed and necessary at the brick and mortar store.

Improving on layout and display. This last year, display and product was improved. I expect with the merger of Tractor Supply and Orscheln it will improve product supply in the areas of plumbing and electrical hardware.

Friendly staff; very helpful when need questions answered. Mdse is organized and everything I went in for was easy to find. Large inventory of supplies for all your animals--dogs and cats, but also rabbits, chicks, horses, etc. Where I get all my bird supplies also--feed, suet blocks, feeders, etc.

I was looking for new bolts and wood inserts nuts to fix my table and the gentleman was very helpful. I was looking for bolts for my tv stand and he had to guess the right size. When I got home and tried them he was on the money. Excellent job thank you very much for all your help. Didn't have t ok drive 30 miles to get what I needed.

Their prices are generally pretty competitive, if you can't find what you need and you can get help and and everybody is friendly. Store's clean and well set-up. This is generally my go-to place for Hardware.

The website is a tad difficult to navigate, but they have really good bargins on things like cat and dog food. My Uncle buys all his dog food their. Says it's the best deal on dog food in town!

Usually keep their products well stocked. Never make a trip In the store that at least 1 to 2 employees ask if I need help. Everyone is usually very friendly.

I love Orschelns , but they just don't have enough employees around to help you . I always have to hunt someone down if I want to get into the dressing room, also if I need help in the pet Department.
