Went here for a little Saturday morning coffee and breakfast date! It’s a fun little spot about 30 minutes west of Columbia. Not a large area for seating but had plenty of room while we were there. Got a peanut butter blender, cinnamon roll and breakfast burrito. All good food and quick service! Was a great spot to sit, talk and chill for a bit. Check it out!

Funky, fun little place next to the train depot’s Rivers and Rails Museum. Large selection of coffee and tea drinks as well as smoothies and blenders.Biscuits and gravy were on point, peppery but not overly so, didn’t have to add anything.Fun, friendly and efficient staff. Cool, eclectic decor.Outside upper deck seating if that’s your think, but at 90° and 72% humidity I chose an air conditioned inside table. 😁

Derailed is a charming little coffee shop and cafe. They have indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating, including tables with umbrellas for a little shade. The owner was so nice and keeps a pretty garden around the cafe.I tried one of their yogurt bowl daily specials, which came with Greek yogurt, fruit and, I believe, a cinnamon granola. It was delicious, and I’d eat it again for sure. My husband liked his breakfast burrito, and the coffee was great, as well.We also saw lots of people coming in and out with orders, so it’s definitely a popular place in town. I’d recommend it.

Love the atmosphere here! Even if you’re not from here, this place makes you feel like you are. Clean, friendly, and cozy environment. On a nice day, the outdoor seating is perfect for people watching and enjoying a coffee. I had an iced vanilla latte (I’m basic!) but it was wonderful. My partner, however, tried the iced PBR (seasonal coffee) and I can honestly say I wish I would have gotten that too. We both ate - I had the biscuits and gravy, he had one of their sandwiches, both filling and wonderful. Gwin is the owner and she’s awesome! If you haven’t been here yet, stop in ASAP. It’s worth the detour if you’re passing through on the highway.

Stopped here while cycling the KATY trail. Awesome, quaint, boutique cafe on the trail. Perfect mocha and very unique breakfast quesadilla. A "must visit" if you're in Boonville!

Mom and I just stopped in for a coffee and pastry to go. Love the quirky ambiance! The ladies were very pleasant, and the Kentucky Bluegrass latte was delightful.

This place is a great place to have a cup of coffee or tea and breakfast with a friend. It is close to the Katy trail if one happens to bike through Boonville and could use a break. I had the caprese sandwich and a Chai latte and both were excellent. I will definitely go back.

The front patio was so quiet and comfortable for some good relaxing vacation driving downtime!!!There is a good variety of unique sandwiches, salads, and coffee drinks. Both baristas who helped me were so pleasant and sweet. My family and I ordered the Derailed pulled pork sandwich, Turkey delight, and Cuban hobo. The bread was fresh and perfect. My sandwich has lovely and delicious pickled onions and tender pulled pork. We all loved everything we ordered!!!!The entire cafe was very clean including the bathroom. I would definitely recommend stopping by this gem if you are traveling through, or if you just want some ambiance and a good ole' samich' and coffee!!!!

I stumbled across this awesome coffee house and cafe while passing through town and on a run with my dog. Alexa, was so sweet! I didn't have my wallet and only had my phone, but Alexa was happy to serve me up a hot drink on this cold fall morning! To top it all off, it's Veteran's Day weekend for me and I'm in the Air Force. What a treat! I highly recommend you stop by and support this woman owned establishment the next time you're in Boonville. Thank you so much! The coffee was delicious! Derailed Coffee Bar & Cafe you made my weekend start off bright. 😁

I go here at least once a week, more if I can! Best coffee and best cafe in mid-mo. The food is delicious! We sure are lucky to have this place in Boonville! I like to bring my laptop to work and hang out because the shop is so cute, the employees are great, the vibes are good, and I love being around other members of this amazing community who enjoy it as much as I do! :)

One of the best places in Boonville. Everything tastes so fresh no matter what you get. We come for lunch about once a month…my wife loves the Pork Tacos and I highly recommend the Caprese! The protein shakes are great too if you’re wanting something quick. The staff has always been very nice and helpful to us. Plus, their outdoor patio is a great place to sit down in the fall/springtime.

Absolutely loved this experience. They have the best coffee and the food is delicious. The owner and staff are so kind and pleasant. A must stop if you are in the Boonville area. Even if you have to go a little out of your way. Well worth it!

This place is a must-stop when riding the KATY or visiting Boonville. We walked over from the Hotel Frederick. Our coffee was delicious. The Chai and hazelnut lattes were perfectly done this morning. The quiche puts Panera to shame.

Stopping at this place was definitely a joy on our Katy Trail trip! It is right next to the trail in town and is the perfect stop for all bikers. They have put a lot of effort in making the place a fun and unique coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. We actually stopped in on a day that they were closed, but the shop was technically open because they were catering for a group. They were especially kind to us and wanted to take our order even though they weren’t open to the public! I would have rated it 5 stars, but the coffee seemed like it was a bit watery. Great stop though! If I am riding through ever again, I will need to come back!

This coffee shop was amazing!!! It was so cute, everyone was very friendly and the food was AMAZING!!! Those breakfast tacos and the French toast was literally to die for. Coffee was on point, too. We will definitely be back— mostly for those tacos!!!

Brought a friend from out of state here for coffee and breakfast. The employees were friendly and engaging. We had the Lavender Latte and Tater Tot casserole. They were both amazing. In fact we had to take another latte with us for the road. Definitely will be returning.

We came for breakfast and lunch on the same day. Service was great, and so was the food! We got the breakfast burrito, quiches, the kids yogurt bowl, and a smoothie for breakfast. Everything was made fresh, with simple, quality ingredients. We told the owner we'd be back for lunch. She told us she occasionally closes early if noone is coming in at lunchtime, but she stayed open to wait for us. How awesome! It is a quaint little eatery right off the Katy Trail with fun little activities for the kids. We haven't gotten our lunch yet, but so far, this has been a great experience.

What a unique place! They have done an amazing job refurbishing this building that is situated right next to the Katy Trail. The breakfast burritos are homemade and delicious. I don't drink coffee, but the tea is fresh brewed and hits the spot.Definitely a place to stop in and check out .

derailed has the BEST flavored iced lattes!! i’ve tried every coffee shop in Columbia over this past year, and none compare to derailed. they’re just THAT good, definitely worth more than 5 stars. all of the food is made from scratch and is delicious!!

I'm not a coffee drinker, but my wife is, and she loves this place. The outside appearance of Derailed Coffe is cool looking and definitely "outside of the box thinking" and looks great. Glad to see a small town local business in this town, instead of a big franchise store. Keep up the good work Derailed Coffee.
