We visited at lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy. The service was great. The server was very friendly. We both ordered burgers. When the first came out I was a little disappointed because they looked like small burgers. But, they were thick and cooked to perfection. Wonderful flavor. I thought the price was reasonable for the quality of food. We will define back.

Im going to do the compliment sandwich since my burger was beyond amazing. To begin with it has a very nice dining area. The only downside to the experience was that it was colder inside than outside. I ordered the double cheeseburger. Freaking perfect!! Bun was buttered and toasted perfectly, the burgers were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, cheese perfectly melted... It was the kind you pick up once and don't put it down because you gotta eat it all or won't fit back together right again. The fries were almost as good as Culver's. I'll definitely be back.

When we entered we were unsure if we had to find a place ourselves or wait to be seated. After a little we asked and were able to find a seat. The waitress was friendly, but the service was very slow. It took around 40 minutes from ordering to receive our order of burgers. The food was hot and fresh. It wasn’t bad (it was good) but it wasn’t anything special. Overall, this place has hot and fresh, although average, food. The wait was long, so be prepared.

We stopped in on the way back home from vacation. The interior is very warm with historic papers and signs decorating the walls. We were so excited to eat that we forgot to grab pictures until we we had already dug in. The food came out super hot and fresh. My friend got the daily special, which was catfish and a side, and I got the Backyard Burger. Both were excellent, with fair portions and great prices.

I love going here! I always enjoy my food, it's so good! The waitress was so sweet too, and very attentive. This trip I had a steak sandwich and fried mushrooms...yummy! My son had a backyard burger and fries and he loved his food too. Everything was out expediently, hot, and perfectly cooked. Great job guys!

Just took my two daughters here for lunch to celebrate my youngest getting her permit today. Took several minutes to even be greeted and provided menus. Server did not greet with a smile. She took our drink order. My youngest wanted hot coco. She brought my water and other daughters coke and told my youngest that her hot coco would retrieved when she asked for it. Mind you, we never asked for a delay in it being served to begin with. No water was offered for her either. I got up to go to the counter to ask for appetizers while she was grabbing two of the drinks. One of those app were fried green beans. No description on the menu at all. We've had fried green beans at dozens of places and they are pretty much the same across the board. These arrived and were extremely spicy. The breeding itself was spicy. We tried to eat a few and collectively decided they were too hot for us. The server came back a while later to take our actual meal order and I asked that these be taken off our bill as there was no description on the heat and we could not eat them. She apologized and took the basket. We also ordered a burger, sweet potato fries. BLT, two types of wings. The garlic bone in wings had a spoiled smell, we've gotten garlic wings from many places and never experienced this smell so this was not the garlic. We asked for boxes and packed up. I sent my youngest up to the counter to pay as a ticket was never brought to us. She handed me back the receipt and the green beans were still on the ticket. I asked the server about it and she immediately had a defensive attitude with me and stated that technically we ordered them and it wasn't their fault we didn't like them. She didn't even come back to our table to update me that refunding wasn't in their policy and she took the beans away so we literally got nothing. Had I known I would have still had to pay for them, I would have taken them home to my husband. We won't be back. Horrible service. Limited or absent product descriptions. No communication. Not good. $72 for lunch. Down. The. Drain.

When feed store opened I have been a satisfied customer but then new owners took it over. The quality of the food is not the same. The cheese Buger doesn’t even cover the bun and 7 onion rings for 5.50. I will no longer be eating here. I would rather spend the gas and drive to Osceola. So sad I used to order from here all the time.

Terrible service. Arrived with a group of 6 and sat ourselves. Waitress was rude and only came to the table twice in the hour we spent there, once to take orders and again to bring the food. We waited 45 minutes for our food with no drink refills. By the time our food arrived, we had to get to-go boxes as we had already been there almost an hour. The waitress forgot to bring my fries and advised it would be another ten minutes before they were available. We did not have time to wait any longer so I requested she remove them from my ticket. As we boxed up our own food and lined up to pay, both waitresses working stood behind the counter giving dirty looks. She charged for the fries that I did not receive. A $10 chicken sandwich meal and another $5 chicken sandwich costed $23 total and some change. We will not be returning. Expect to be overcharged and have plenty of time to wait.

Posting this review for my mother. She and 11 of her friends went to The Feed Store to have lunch at the suggestion of one of the friends. Taco salad was on the menu as the special of the day which several of the party ordered. When their orders arrived after a long wait time, there was no lettuce, cold greasy meat, a large amount of onions and no taco sauce or dressing of any kind. Upon asking for some taco sauce, the manager or owner informed them they didn't have any and that it wasn't a mexican restaurant, to which he was asked why they offered it on the menu then. With no reply. Later the waitress came back to ask if everything was ok, and one of the ladies told her they were all very dissapointed as over half the party couldn't even eat what they ordered. When the waitress apologized they told her it wasn't her fault but that the cook or management should be made aware and asked her to speak to the manager. The same man came storming out to their table yelling at them saying he didn't appreciate them being rude to his help and they could get out and not come back. One of the women told him no one was being rude except for him. The ladies all paid for the food they couldn't eat, found the waitress who was trying her best to serve their large group as well as the rest of the restaurant by herself, and tipped her well on their way out. Needless to say, none of them will ever go back or give a good review. Even though the wait was long, the food not good and the service slow, this was certainly a situation of very poor management! What manager or owner speaks to customers like that yelling and acting like they are the ones at fault. They were 12 elderly ladies. Shame on him!

Very disappointed in the service. We waited for 45 minutes before we got our food. Not once did the waitress check to see if we needed refills during our wait. I went up and asked the waitress if our food was almost done because our lunch break was almost over. She rudely said it should be next we have alot of tickets back there. When she finally brought out plates to our table we asked if we could have To go boxes so we could take our food with us. My husband did not get his fries with his meal, she said its still going to be another 10 to 15 mimute wait on those, we didnt have time to wait so we left without those. One of our guests asked if she could get a To go drink and the waitress snapped back you're gonna have to wait I'm trying to get your stuff packed to go. Mind you we were boxing our own food to go. While paying she gave attitude to all of us while the other waitress sat behind her with her arms crossed giving us all dirty looks.

We came from Kansas City to visit Mom. She says hey, we got this new place to eat...so there we went. We got in and loved it! The service was great and the food was too! Very good burgers and tasty fried mushrooms. The young man that waited on us was ready, willing, and able to answer all of our questions and even shared a bit of trivia! You will have to ask about Rose- evidently she controls the radio!😆

Customer service is lacking. Our server was rude and lacked basic customer service. We waited over 40 minutes before seeing our server after placing our order and recieved our order which was incomplete after 50 mins. We then were met with more resistance and rude tone by our waitress upon requesting boxes and tickets to leave.

Great decore and cozy atmosphere. But, they only have hamburgers or wings on the menu. My garlic parmesan wings were literally submerged in oil when I got them. The fried pickles weren't fully cooked with pancake-batter consistency breading still on them.Update: Their food is better, but no one (servers, bartender, or cooks) is wearing masks.

Great prices, great service, and the food was very good. The wings were crispy and the sauce on them had a great flavor, the fried pickles were so unique, and the cheese sticks came in a huge helping. Love the atmosphere as well.

Took 40 minutes to get the food. Our table ordered a salad and a BLT. Both were pathetic. Blt had the thinnest and cheapest bacon I’ve ever seen (it was also burnt) and the salad was tiny and I could’ve bought all the ingredients for less than what I paid for. The salad was only frozen chicken strips on a small bed of iceberg lettuce. Workers are nice but the food isn’t worth the money at all.
