Extremely disappointed in the customer service, and organization of this Dollar General. The workers are either in the back half the time, or simply ignoring you when you need help. I've blown it off before, but today I was waiting SEVERAL minutes after ringing for help at the self checkout. I had a question, and ended up needing to leave my cart and go on a search through the store for two employees who were talking amongst eachother. One of the employees didn't even have a tag on, just a dirty pair of jeans and camo jacket with a cap. I told the woman that I had found MULTIPLE of the SAME ITEMS in a $3 box, but they were ringing up as $10 a piece. She said I needed to read the tags, because sometimes people put items in the wrong box. I work in merchandise, so I get that. However, these were multiple duplicates in the same box. Despite being frustrated with the way she handled it, I was polite and let it go. She however, was rude and dismissive. I used to come to this Dollar General often, but it has gone downhill quick. I will not be back.

Let me preface with I'm not going to speak on this stores quality of items.... It is as expected for price points in my opinion and one can find some true gems within their inventory. What i do want to say about this particular location that I visited is the lack of professionalism and appearance. Almost every shelf had items in disarray and unorganized. Which is understandable to a point as a busy rush could of hit the store and caused this. But when I see the employees sitting upfront doing absolutely nothing besides talking extraordinarily loud and being just overall ..... Well..... Kids. Makes it an unpleasant experience. To me this comes down to conditioning and management. There has to be a lack of accountability when this is allowed to happen in the numerous times I have visited it. I have to imagine the night employees leave the store trashed and the day employees are left to clean it all up. I feel for the day shift as this would upset me as a worker. Again..... Some following up with the night people might turn this location into a more pleasant experience for the consumer.As always.... Just my thoughts and I hope the management team finds a way to rein this in for the customer experience.

Amazing maintenance man my bike broke down he tried to help I asked what iowef him her said next time u come stop in and say hi. Well my son picked us up the next day we took him by and yes said hi very very nice man. May God bless him the world need more ppl like him.

This must be a BUSY place. Every time I am in Bolivar, I stop and pick up a few items. They ALWAYS have someone stocking shelves and 2 or 3 carts full of stock sitting in the aisles that they are working on. Friendly and helpful employees!! Great Job you all !!

The staff is always polite and extra helpful. Came in looking for small containers for a project and they took me around showing me everything that might work when i described what i needed. Above and beyond expectations.

I came in to buy coke. I found a display and the 335ml bottles said $1. when it was rung up it said $1.45. I asked about it and I can only assume the person who was supposed to be in charge of the store, the ‘manager’, came up to aggressively point out that I was without a doubt wrong. Even so, she immediately with visible and audible anger changed the price to $1. I can say that I never wanted to go to dollar general in the first place because the branding/lighting/design reminds me of toxic waste, but I’ll be sure to never visit this location again. Good thing there are 3 (three) locations in Bolivar alone, so I won’t have to.

I run in here all the time for little stuff or short shopping trips. It's easy to get in and out quickly and they have a little bit of everything. Good prices too. Sometimes it's very crowded with boxes of new merchandise.

I liked the store other than they were low on products and after I paid for my merchandise the cashier was talking to me about my truck and I got sidetracked and didn't get my bag handed to me from him and i live an hour away so I'm not sure how I feel about it and if they'll be able to fix it without me driving all the way back up there.

Honestly speaking...thats what reviews are about right? This is my least favorite Dollar General in Bolivar. Its location is what brought me there today. Does not have the best inventory and seems to be a little cluttered and unorganized. Employees are nice though.

In & out relatively quickly. It may just be me, but seems as if products don't have designated areas on shelves, all are jumbled. Sometimes difficult to find 2bd and 3rd of same item without digging around in adjoining shelves.

Seems like this store can’t be kept clean compared to the other stores. Also, trash cans would be very beneficial to customers. Please put at least one trash can at the entrance of every store across the nation. Something to consider....

This is the second best dollar general in the world. The first best is in Riley, KS. Jenny and the crew are just second only to the Riley folks. A shout out to all you Stickum folks too. If you seeing this and you from Stickum, this one’s for you. You all the best. You need to come check this place out and if you from Stickum, this ones for you, love you all.
