I had a very sick, distraught cat, and they were able to get me in that afternoon for tests and diagnosis. All the staff was courteous, friendly, informative, and took great care of my Shilo. I felt it was affordable for all the tests that they ran, along with medication, and I highly recommend them for your pet needs.

Great people here at Bolivar Pet Hospital.. Dr. Mcracken does a great job with Bowzer and Bean (my dogs).. He explains things and makes sure that all my animals are very well taken care of. This is the place to go for your pets. They always answer questions. Dr.McCracken is gentle with my dogs. I have one that is very sensitive and he is so good with her. He is also quick with results and diagnosis. The staff is great with my fur babies too!

They were really nice. Took great care of my cat. Didn't do anything unnecessary, and worked within my budget. It's a great, clean place!Last week Dr Mccracken and staff took care of our two dogs, getting them their shots. Again, excellent service , easy to talk to and get along with all of them. And they listened to any concerns about the dogs, and gave us pointers on how to keep them healthy. Thank you for your excellent service!!! And Bean and Bowzer love you guys!!!

Our dog needed surgery. Our former vet sent us to Kansas City for the procedure. After the surgery there was a problem and our former vet wouldn’t even look at our dog. It was on a Friday and we couldn’t take him to KC until Monday. Bolivar Pet Hospital got him in 30 minutes after I called. The doc was able to fix the problem, relieve the pain for our pup, and saved us a ton of time and money. We moved both of our dogs to this office. Very thankful to have found them.

Bolivar pet hospital did a great job of taking care of our foster pup. Staff was friendly and informative and did a great job of putting up with my phone calls to get updates. Quick and inexpensive. Got my senior dog in the same day and treated his infected ear gently. We have used them from initial puppy shots to sterilization of our pets to euthanasia when our baby got so old he he couldn't walk anymore from pain.

They did a great job of taking care of our dog, but they don't do after hours care or have a message service (their message says to call a vet in Springfield). They also don't accept Care Credit (or any other financing), which meant we had to scramble to find a way to pay for his surgery at the last minute. ($500 is a lot to come up with on the fly.) We probably won't be back.

The Vet has 0 bedside manner with humans, but knows his business. I have taken my 2 dogs and my MIL dog here and he had the exam done and us out the door in 15 mins each time. The prices are steep but I honestly don't know how it compares to other vet offices in the area.

Very professional in a friendly way, they seem to tell you what you need to know, no beating around the bush. Seems to me they are concerned for the animals, and they try to get them in when there is a problem that arises, not just when you have an appointmentI appreciate this as we never know when a problem might arise and it's good to know your pet doesn't have to suffer for days waiting for an appointment.One of the cleanest Vet Hospitals I've been in and set up very well for convenience of staff and visitors.

We're new to the community and our dog is a new patient for Dr. McCracken. We are very impressed with him and his staff. Very obvious he knows what hes doing and they all love animals! We would recommend.

My mother brought her dog in for a nail trim. The facility would not let my mother attend while trimming. When the dog was returned to my mother, the whites of her eyes had gone completely red. An exam at another facility implied the damage was caused likely by a harsh restraint. Dr McCracken, you should think about hanging it up. Choking a small dog must make you feel pretty strong. Gotta love when something doesn't cooperate with you, so you forcefully willingly harm it to get your way. Hope you don't treat everyone's animals like you did her dog.

My kitty is near end of life and suddenly stopped eating. I was concerned she might be suffering. I just wanted a quick visit to either determine it was time to put her to sleep or be assured she was still ok for now. I don’t have a local vet out here yet. I was told by this vet they were too busy. I was disappointed being I called them based on a review that they were excellent getting emergencies in. I guess that really isn’t the case. Very disappointed and won’t call this vet back for any of my other 2 cats and 4 dogs.. I want a vet that feels compassion for both the pet as well as the owner and I felt NONE of that. Once I had a vet stay longer when I had to put my senior cat down so I didn’t feel rushed. That was truly a compassionate vet but NOT this one.

Great, friendly people. These folks saved my dogs leg and life after being hit by a vehicle. I thought after surgery and having that traumatic of an experience for her first visit to this clinic that she would really hate returning. After the surgery and recovery we decided to make this both of our dogs primary care home. We’ve been back several times and it’s been the same experience. She knows where we are when we pull in the parking lot and she can’t wait to get inside and say hello to everyone. They both used to hate going to the vet. Now, they love going! Can’t say enough good things.

First time here. The place is exceptionally clean. The workers are knowledgeable and friendly. The Veterinarian is nice and was thorough. Glad I went there and plan to bring the rest of my pets soon
