Had a purchase to make. Vickie (or Vicki) a manager there, helped me with everything I needed. I was interested in the program for my different pets, and she took the time to explain it to me so I knew what all the benefits were, as well as going out of her way to make sure I was getting the best prices for everything I needed. Exceptional customer service. Goes out of her way to make every customer feel like they’re the most most important one that has walked in the door the whole day. I’ve always had a good experience at this location, I just thought she deserved to be recognized for the job she does.

Lela was the kindest employee. She helped me sign up for the Petco rewards program and offered exceptional customer service. She was so sweet to my dog. I had to use the engraving machine and she was so helpful and made sure I knew how the process worked.Then she helped me exchange a product (that I mistakenly got the wrong size of) and was positive and conversational for the entire process. I had an amazing experience shopping today and I really appreciated Lela’s service!

the whole staff was amazing as per usual, the vet techs were super attentive to our little guy and the Vet was super patient and explained everything in a super easy to understand way, the fact that they were open on the weekend was also a huge plus for getting our cat seen really fast, he was pulling his fur out and we were afraid he had a skin issue, turns out it was just anxiety but we were happy that he was able to be seen so quickly. I love how the Vet techs always treat my animals like one of their own with so much love and gentleness <3 going to the vet is never fun but the Petco clinic makes it as convenient and painless as possible

Location is generally sufficient. Stock of favorite food is now perpetually out. Recently purchased an item in wrong size, attempted return for exchange the same day and was refused due to missing receipt. Slightly understandable, but only time at any business I've been refused in comparable situations. Will need to look elsewhere for pet products.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Unprofessional staff can't handle large hairy dogs, make up fake excuses to not groom. This is the only place our dog has ever been groomed to date, never again. They even lied and said our dog had never been groomed here before, backpedaled and changed excuse when I corrected them. Pretty disgusting conduct for a business this size. If you leave a bad review, they are vindictive. Highly recommend you stay away from this location. Very unprofessional, not great grooming either. Not sure how Petco is even surviving any more, bad service, high prices and zero customer service.....

Horrible experience with the groomer and manager. Would not honor my appointment because the groomer was pregnant and couldn't lift my dog. Apparently, they did not have my correct phone number to cancel earlier. I have taken my dog there numerous times and have spent hundreds of dollars on grooming but there wasn't any effort made to check my name or dog's name to find the correct number. I called the corporate office and they agreed my appointment should not been cancelled in the first place. If the groomer wasn't physically able to perform her job she should have arranged for assistance. My hope is the corporate office advises the staff to improve their customer service. I will never take my dogs there again.

Blue Springs Missouri Petco is an amazing place to take your pet to get the full treatment done including haircuts and nails trim as well as buffed!!! We will always go back because of the excellent service and experience!!!

Nothing against how the staff treated people, but definitely have an issue with how they keep those poor animals cages! Went in around 3 on a Wednesday and ALL, and I mean ALL of the pins and animals cages were FILTHY! All the animals where gross and covered in their own fecal matter. You should honestly be ashamed of the conditions your poor animals are kept in.

This store is large and has few employees. I visited on May 14, and the store was out of live crickets and was not selling fish. I am a fish hobbyist and have visited this pet store often, but I have never purchased fish from them - other than individually-cupped bettas. The selection is subpar compared to other Petco stores in the KC area. However, this store consistently has a good selection of male and female bettas.Check out Mikey at the Lee’s Summit Petco for fish.

I love this Petco! The staff are so friendly and helpful. I buy my dog The Honest Kitchen kibble which only Petco sells in stores. They have great deals and always find what I need.

The manager hurt my dog. The groomer was having some issues cutting his nails. So the manager goes in to assist much like a cop in a riot. Smashes my dogs testicles with her arm while forcing his leg into a position. Then he gets a mark for "Almost" biting. Never again

I came into Petco to get new collars and engraved id tags for my two dogs. Not one employee bothered to speak to me, much less offer any kind of help. I realize there are renovations going on in the store; however, that doesn't excuse the lack of customer service. I did ask one female employee about the engraving machine, as to it's location and she did tell me where it was, but when I had questions about it, I was told she wasn't familiar with it so she could not help me. I understand that she was being honest on her experience with the machine, BUT true customer service would have been followed with, even though she had no idea as to helping with the machine, that she'd find someone who could help me with it.

I needed to exchange a light bulb, for a reptile, and the location didn't have the one I needed in stock and since it had been past 30 days, the manager informed me there was nothing she could do. I even asked if they could just give me store credit so I could go online and buy the correct bulb but she said no. So now, unfortunately, I'm stuck with a $25 light bulb, I can't even use. I thought Petco was better than this experience.
