I been spending on average of 100.00 a week at this store for 5 years or more.They have harassed me because of my mental disability for last time . I showed them medical records of mental diagnosis 3 years ago cause they was telling me I cannot have my miniature poodle service dog with me .Things went good until today between 8 pm and 830 pm . I was on way check out with my dog in my arms and The dark skin older lady attacked me harasses me Discrimination in front of everybody telling me I cannot have my dog in the store. And to top it off the young boy new employee is laughing behind the counter at my anxiety disorder because I’ve this point I was very nervous and upset. I told her I have records and proof of my psychiatric condition and have submitted it copies three years ago to the store. Nothing I said made no difference she continued by saying my dog had urinated on the floor. Totally impossible he was in my arms on the whole time .I shop there every other day at least he is well trained has papers I knew she was lying so I continued by saying show me on the camera where he has done this .She stated I can’t I don’t Have access to the camera .I said then if you can’t prove it don’t cause me harrsss me about it.Hello I’m a customer my purchases help Provide her a job.The young boy kept laughing so I said it’s not funny having ptsd ,GAD panic attacks. He yell to me instead of scanning my items and Sis don’t get smart with me or I will. I’m a senior 63 years old my dog is in my arms he’s never barked very calm and I am been Discriminatied harassed by the older dark skin Hispanic looking lady and laughed at by a teenager that supposed been checking me out but he was to busy laughing instead doing his job.So I said I’m done left the items in basket and went to mikes market . When checked out at Mikes market the young cashier not knowing what I jus went through ask the to pet my poodle dog and bragged on how well behaved he was. Thanks for her.Back to the dollar general experiencesThe older man with beard tall kinda creepy looking at dollar general also is very rude and the middle age lady that works the dayshift mostly Allways sitting in the middle of the floor and texting on her phone got very sharp with me cause I brought item back the night before off dollar aisle.I had my receipt and the item never open I payed 6$ for it night before .So omg she argues with me about it than says you should looked checked price first . It was on dollar aisle. I got my money back after a long lecture .Stigma of mental disability is bad in this store .I have started process to report this to State Discrimination for disabled Citizens

I have literally lived in this town and went to the Dollar Store for over 20 years. Now some girl from another town wants to come in and tell me I can't take my purse into the store because my purse is a backpack. I am being singled out because of my purse. I am almost 45 years old. I work in the medical marijuana industry I refuse to leave my purse / backpack in my car or at the front desk. It is my responsibility as an employee and a medical Marijuana card holder to be responsible for any keys, paperwork or products I have in my purse. I will be calling corporate about this and I'll purchase my $10 bag of chocolate SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The staff there are all great. They are overworked to say the least. I believe a company that wealthy, could surely afford to hire staff to come in and stock shelves and put away the supplies. Instead, they rely on the 2 cashiers they have per shift to handle customers and handle stocking. It is nearly all females that work down there, and stocking some of the items is difficult for them. Perhaps if Dollar General cared more for the employees they would have a lower turn over rate.

Perfect place to grab what you need when you're in a hurry never hard times Find the place to park. And since the parking lots are so small you don't have to walk very far to be inside the store! And if you go to a new location you will learn that they have a lot more options in the new stores. Versus the old ones.

Bought a DVD player the night before. Unfortunately I it didn't hook up to my flat screen it had to have a HDMI cord for the hook up. Taking g the DVD player in and explaining to the young man who was more interested in his bag of candy to complete the transaction. I handed over the DVD player that was in the correct box with all the paper work and attached to the box was the receipt my wife taped onto the box. While the candy kid took the DVD player out if the box to examine it his phone began to ring out what I assume to be was his gf after a few minutes of conversation he resumed his ploy of the DVD player. I tell the guy I don't want cash back if that helps a gift card so I can buy other things would be fine. He begins to tell me he would be able to do that with the receipt. It was taped on the box itself.remember ? U took it off as u was talking on tour phone! Needless to say I took back the DVD player I can't use!

Always a friendly and welcoming staff. It's a busy store but, I have never had a problem with anything being out of stock :-)

I mean it's our town Dollar store all the aisles are sloppy hardly no displays where they go everything is just piled on the shelf or left in a cart for customers to pick thru ☹️

Usually pretty fast service as long as you go from 9:45 am - 11:10am or 6:50 pm to -9:15pm
