Firstly we were seated very quickly and the service was great. We ordered the fried pickles and I’m very impressed they are one of the only places in the area that season the batter perfectly, they also have the perfect amount of crunch and aren’t soggy at all. They are definitely a contender for the best fried pickles in Missouri for me. The waitress kept a close eye on our drinks and kept them full the whole time. I got the C&B wings which were cooked perfectly and the sauce is spot on. My compatriot got the patty melt with tots. The patty to the melt was a little under seasoned but other than that it was very delicious. Overall great service and decent food for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

The service was good, but as more customers came in on a Sunday afternoon, our waitress became less and less available. We were basically abandoned after we got our food, and had no more drinks or followup until she brought our $150.00 bill.This is the only place I've ever had "pasta con broccoli" in a red tomato sauce. We also got the mac and cheese and it was inedible because it was over-salted. We had wings and they were good. We had the loaded nacho appetizer and it was good. We had a couple kid burgers, and they were undercooked for the kiddos.We let the kids play some games and most of them broke or were broken as the kids played.For all the praise this place has been given in Jefferson County, it's really not very impressive overall.Maybe the more you drink, the better the service and food becomes.Beware if you order pasta con broccoli, the menu says "cream sauce". It doesn't spell out it's a creamy tomato sauce. Ugh.

I'm torn about this place. The appetizers were pretty good, but the entrees were garbage. The chicken had the texture of rubber and the meatball sub was forgettable. The appetizer portions were enormous and the mac and cheese is some of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The service was flaky. Our waitress would disappear for periods of time.

Very disappointing! Service was slow from the start and did not get any better throughout the meal. One of are meals was forgotten so it came out after the rest of us were almost done. The waitress said she would comp the meal but when she seen we had a fundraiser card she did not take the meal off and didn't even tell us! Very sneaky if you ask me!! She then sets the card reader down in front of us to pay and the tip is set at 20%! Outside of one of the meals tarter tots being cold the food was ok. Unfortunately this is not the first time we have had the same slow service and just ok food. Clearly not the place for us.

Ordered the chicken nachos. The chicken was dry. The lettuce looked like it was the lettuce for salads. Tomatoes still had the ends that are brown. Presentation is just not appealing. When it was told to our waitress she told the manager or who ever the man was that came over. When explained to him what the issues was he made it seem like it was no big deal that these nachos came out looking like straight trash. This was my first time here and last time here.

Without a doubt the worst restaurant in the area. Food is terrible bar food but also costs quite a bit. They gave my sandwich to another table, then took it back and tried to give it to me instead. It was cold by that point. Fries are just the cheapest frozen super market crinkle cut with store bought seasoning. I ordered out once just to give them another chance. Never received a call my food was ready so I just arrived at the estimated time. It was clear my food had been sitting for a while. I don't understand how this place continues to operate. I would rather go to Burger King.I want to support local business but they make it impossible to want to spend any money there.

Im not one to write reviews but man. 3rd time going here. 1st was ok, 2nd time was party of 10 and our pizza was under cooked not once but twice, sandwich was wrong. The actual owner stepped in very nice guy Gave our family's a gift card to return and try again, so today I order and 1 of the items ordered was a ceaser salad with extra dressing and croutons.simple right ha well I get my to go order, ask the lady who bagged, tied up and handed me my order is there extra dressing and croutons? Yes. yes there is. wellll again very disappointed 😞 I called to to tell them and the 1 how answered the phone honestly could of cared less. Sad sad salad for 11 buck that went to waste.

This place is just okay. We have been when the food was really good and other times we go, it's terrible. Also, they are very overpriced compared to other bar and grills. When the food is good I don't mind paying the high price, but we have been many times when the food was awful and definitely not worth the money. Overall I would say this place is a gamble.

Just came back from a funeral with a large group. My friend and I had a hamburger and fries. The patties were of the frozen kind and cooked to a crisp, burnt and totally dried out and had a mound of wilted lettuce on them. They came with no Mayo, Mustard or Ketchup and had to ask for those things. $45.00 bucks tip included for 2 burnt up burgers!!! The rest of our group ordered Tater Tots as a side to whatever it was they ordered and they were all undercooked and literlly fell apart when trying to eat them! Tots should be cooked until crispy and firm and burgers should be juicy! Kudos to our waitress though...wished I could remember her name!

We ordered fried shrimp;Fried fish & hush puppies.Waited 30 minutes, then was informed they were out of slaw; ordered baked beans( very small portion).Waited another 15 minutesDinner arrived Luke warm &got cold quickly. The shrimp& the fish was overcooked.We won't be back.C&B ( Cold & Burnt.)

C&B is an amazing local venue for casual dining and events. We recently had our mother’s surprise 68th birthday party in their banquet/party room and it was perfect! The food was fresh and hot and then service was excellent! We go there at least once per week and recommend it to all of our friends regularly.

Country Fried Steak was the special for Tuesday. I ordered sides of, baked potato and steamed broccoli. Taste was good but food was room temperature. Broccoli was perfect (warmest thing on the plate) but the potato was just warm. Sweet tea was ok but for $2.59 per glass next time I'll order water. Servers were very friendly.

Loved the sit down atmosphere. Katie did a very nice job as our waitress. Sunday lunch had huge portions.I didn't go into the restroom but the dinning area seemed super clean.They are known for their chicken wings and we tried their Garlic Butter and Teriyaki. My wife and I were not that impressed but again, food portions were huge. We did a half a chicken, two side dinner and a C&B Chicken Sandwich.We would go back when passing through again.

Been going here for years. New ownership has let the quality slip tremendously. Tonight, my patty melt came out on completely charred bread. We sent it back and the replacement was ok. My wife's chicken Alfredo was very bland. We also never received our stuffed pepper soup. We had to have it removed from the bill because our waitress had no idea. She was sweet as can be though and was the bright spot of the evening. Sad to see this place go downhill as we used to be regulars. Definitely not a $50 meal for 2.

Gotta love going somewhere, tipping 30% for a Togo order and getting the wrong food. Other entrees were good but second time this has happened. And for $16 slider (3) I feel like the presentation would be a little better than this lol.

Always a great place to grab lunch. Great prices, service very friendly and courteous, even better when you get to know the staff! Food is excellent, great tastes and season flavorable delicious, and great place just to si and have a drink or 2 or 3 lol. Great place to try outParking: Theees plenty of parking.
