Great prices and great people running a wonderful discount grocery store.With a recent expansion, they have more than doubled their store size and selection. Now with a deli/bakery area and expanded freezer section.Excellent produce and sometimes huge discounts on a box of apples or oranges.They also have a small selection of discount furniture, shoes, hats, toys and miscellaneous surplus items.You can save hundreds of dollars each year by shopping here.

In my job, which brings me past almost Mennonite store out in the Versailles area and there abouts.... Sunshine rates up there for many reasons.They are not the biggest, nor have much in the way of breads and such, but their freezer selection is awesome. Think two "irregular rib eye steaks" for under $11.00.Sure, they're not pretty nor do they match, but darn it, those were the best steaks we've grilled in a long time! There are many other frozen meats and you can buy many things in bulk.They have a big walk in freezer which holds the yogurts, butter, eggs etc. as well as the usual wide assortment of spices, jellies, dry foods and a "ready to expire" shelf.The girls who works there are always friendly and helpful, cash and CC accepted. In the spring there is a nice assortment of veggies and plants/flowers.

Love going in and seeing what they have!! Some items are consistent but most change regularlyUsually good prices!! I would highly recommend that you check it out. I risk saying this and you getting some of my bargains, but I got to honest!!

I visit here every year when I'm traveling through. These are the greatest people on earth. Wonderful to shop here. I'm on a motorcycle so unfortunately can't buy the majority of things and carry them 800 miles home, but if I was local, this would be my store for all groceries.

My family loves this place. Especially the new store; There's actually room to move around others in this one. They make delicious sandwiches and may seem a little expensive but 1 of the sandwiches fed me twice 😁Always friendly employees, plenty of selection. The yogurt is usually outdated but it is kept frozen so it is still good, you just have to eat it quick unless you freeze it.

Always a great stop to get good deals limited Supply and what they did in what you can always save if you're looking for a good deal, today is a new day brought my grandson as we were spending time together he was really impressed with the prices. Told him how to benefit and shop because the cost of inflation right now.

I have lived out in this area for a long time first time I really realized this was a grocery store you must stop here if you are anywhere in the facility they make their own baked goods their own candy oh it smells so good when you walk into their store definitely we'll go back

Great place to either buy in bulk or not. Great deals. The only downside is it smells a little bad, but not too bad. I eventually forgot about the smell because I was preoccupied with all the deals I was finding.

I enjoy and love going here. Friendly atmosphere and always welcomed. Prices are better or cheaper than most other places like Save-a-Lot or Wal-Mart. Produce is fresh and home grown. Meats are processed and packaged fresh with alot being from home stock. I've found food items that I've never heard of or tasted and it's definitely worth going back for more. You're able to buy items in bulk. Great people all around. Friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you

Store focused mainly on surplus, bent n dent, and close-dated groceries, but they also have a deli, bakery, and bulk food section. You’ll find plenty of treasures, but not everything is a good deal. Know your prices and watch the expiration dates, and you’ll be fine. For your sanity shop as early in the day as possible and never on a Saturday! Gets so busy and crowded.

This is not your big chain grocery store! If you are staying at The Hideaway just up the road it has all the basics at very affordable prices. And if you drive through the area it would be worth stopping and checking it out. It also has some home baked goods for sale. Go try it I think you will like it.

I love shopping at Sunshine Foods. They always have a different selection of groceries and they have ingredients that you can't find elsewhere. Prices are good, employees are friendly and the sale prices are excellent! It's definitely worth the drive!

Stopped in along the way to grab something for lunch at the deli. Got a BLT on honey wheat, was delicious and really hit the spot with fresh tomato and lettuce and excellent bacon! Love the selection of breads and cheeses!

This store has been a favorite of mine for a few yrs already, now they have expanded their building, so their inventory of bulk food, apples, grocery, frozen, cooler items and home salvage is astounding! Great place to stock up and save!!

Best place to purchase bulk food in this area. Great staff they are always happy.Update. During the pandemic the prices went up but now prices went back down it looks like on most things.

Going to Sunshine Foods is a wonder land. When you go there you wonder to yourself "What will I discover today?" The surplus goods are always changing. So if you find a good deal you better buy plenty. Chances are they won't be there next time.

Deli is great, sometimes you can get deals on coffee. Sometimes you can buy lamb, at a very affordable price. You can buy beef sticks cheaper than anywhere.

They have some pretty good deals and very friendly. I would recommend going on a week day. It's gets pretty crowded on the weekends.
