This grocery store doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you.This is my favorite grocery store. It absolutely has that small town feel, but with lots of variety.Also, be sure to checkout the deli. Some really great food ready to go back there.

I like this store. The store is clean, which is a huge pluss for me. The produce is fresh and reasonably priced. The establishment also offers a delly where hot food can be purchased. I always enjoy a pleasant shopping experience here.

They are so well stocked, and I especially appreciate their fresh fruit and vegetable display. It is beautiful! I went in looking for grapefruit, and found the most delicious red grapefruit I have ever tasted. The young lady who waited on me was very friendly and efficient. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because their prices seem a little high to me. But we are - after all - living in a time of extremely high inflation.

The market is great stay away from the deli fish meal. The mystery fish is to thin more batter than fish. Potato wedges and hush puppies fried twice to rewarm an hard as a rock. They could not tell me what kind of fish is was.

Passing through this town stopped just to get some bread got alot more stuff they had on sale saved money. Store was very clean and the staff was friendly.

Love the selection of fresh produce and meat. They have butchers come in a few days a week to cut and package meat. Buy all my meat here. Love the people, everyone is friendly, helpful. Beautiful store, a joy to shop here. Love their weekly sales. I bought split chicken breasts on sale today for .98 cents a pound. ❤

It's a nice store. Very clean and can always find what I'm looking for. Had what I needed. The staff are the most friendliest people I've met. And they have my Hatch green chilies when in season. And a lot of great selections of everything you need.

I used to work here and I honestly loved it. My mom now works here and they have treated her so well. Kent is an amazing boss and everyone that works there are truly hard workers. Glad to see this store still thriving as long as it has.

Prices here are often lower than Walmart. The produce dept. has a large selection of organic produce. The meat department will do custom cuts if you ask them to. It's nice to have the convenience and good customer service at a large grocery store!

I signed up for all their sales and flyer news. This is the only place I will buy my meats!! Very clean store and good people work there.

No competition since it is the only grocery store in Ava. Very expensive needs some competition. Can't believe some of the prices almost $8 for butter among many other ridiculous over priced items. Not sure how a person is supposed to survive. Things are even worse now that our economy has gone to the birds so the prices have gone even higher. It is ridiculous!!!

I'm so glad this grocery store has survived the big W invasion of Ava. The meat department is terrific. Customer Service counter has always been great too.

Employees are friendly and helpful. The merchandise is always consistent. If you like a certain brand you will always find it there, unlike other stores. Their meat is much better quality than others.

So, I've got only three stars because this is a very old store, that REALLY needs updates... I feel some what unfair to them, because they ARE in the process of updating and revamping. This is a small town, so I know their budget is also quite low. I look forward to seeing more improvements and upgrading! Very friendly associates at this location!

Was exactly what I expected it to be. The People were friendly. The place was clean. The cost of everything was pretty cheap.Most of the items seemed to be old items. Or maybe they were returned items. Not returned from customers but returned from stores. But all items seemed to still be good.Great place to shop if you are a low income family.

Store is super clean and has very good variety. There are a few "Town & Country Supermarkets" in South Central Missouri. In my opinion, the Ava store is the best and has the best butcher, too.

Prices are a bit high but sale prices are competitive with Walmart. However t and c does have a few features the Walmart doesn't such as the bakery, Wich makes a large selection of custom cakes and other goods for parties and events.
