Wedding Review- Incredible staff, wedding coordinator and atmosphere. My Christmas/winter wedding dreams were brought to life with the breathtaking venue as the centerpiece to my vision. The venue also catered our meal and everything is locally grown and made from scratch so I was able to personalize/alter the menu to my taste. Highly recommend the mash potatoes and the mac and cheese (AMAZING!).Shoutout to Moody Blooms for gorgeous flowers as well!

What a lovely place to dine. I came with friends for a brunch. No real brunch menu, but cubano sandwich was quite nice. My mimosa missed the mark, but my lavender latte made up for it.

I was a guest at an amazing wedding last night; as we were relaxing by the fire pit, a worker there offered us S'mores, and that was such a surpise that made our night and created an everlasting memory. It was exactly what I was needing. He was very nice and fun to talk to. This place was a great place for a wedding with very polite workers. Shoot out to "Brit" like Britney Spears, he was the coolest worker here. Very nice. 4/20/2024

I can not find one single thing I can say is bad about this place. We came about this place when we were driving around and happened to stop here. We were greeted by one of the owners, Karen, who gave us a tour of the farm and explained what type of events they hold and the history of the farm. Let me include that they did not waste a dime on making this place absolutely beautiful. After the tour we were graciously invited to stay for a cooking event they were holding. The event was amazing, as they cooked with a lot of organic vegetables they grow on their farm. Overall it was a great experience, and we will be back!If you’ve never been, I would strongly recommend checking it out if you want to have an event (wedding, corporate party, etc.) there or going to one of their own hosted events. They are a very community oriented business and they are family owned. There are so many different things they do, so if you are interested definitely go and check out their website.

My fiancé and I showed up to our tour of Sunflower Hill Farm with the understanding that this venue may be outside of our budget for our 2025 wedding. But, the moment we met and spoke with Freyja, my outlook changed. She gave us an amazing tour of the grounds, air bnb, and venue spaces. We absolutely fell in love with Freyja and with Sunflower Hill Farm. It’s beautiful, quiet, picturesque location is perfect, no matter what the season. The little details of the farm is what got me: the cats, the chickens, the gorgeous venue area…it’s so perfect. Freyja worked with us from the beginning to craft an event that would fit our budget perfectly. We left that day with a date reserved. I cannot tell you how excited I am to have our wedding at Sunflower Hill Farm! A huge thank you to Freyja and her amazing staff for making my wedding dreams come true.

We were merely passing by and saw a sign on the road for a cafe. Little did we know we would enjoy some breathtaking views, the absolute sweetest people, and the best sandwich I think I've ever eaten. We ordered a breakfast sandwich that had tomato marmelade..... It was delicious!! The homemade cookies were soooooo good and full of chocolate chips. Even the chips that came with our sandwiches were literally the best chips I've ever eaten. I'm not getting married but if I ever do it will for sure be here!! How beautiful this property was! Thanks Sunflower Hill. I will for sure be back!! I honestly can't say enough great things about this place.

Sunflower Hill Farm and sunny days go hand in hand. Having lunch (or breakfast) from their covered patio overlooking the property is just grand. One of our favorite places to bring out-of-town guests to showcase one of the best venues St Charles County has to offer.

Sunflower hill farm is an enchanting inn with a beautiful home on top of the hill that you can rent for your visit to the area.The menu in the restaurant is very limited, however, it is very good as well.They have a nice drink menu that includes coffee & Baileys 😋They have a medicinal herb garden as well as a chicken coop (adorable)The house has a beautiful wine room which you can have small gatherings in.OverallVery nice

I was lucky enough to be able to spend Mother's Day at Sunflower Hill Farm with my family. What a treat!! It was a beautiful day. Despite this being the first event at the farm - everything was perfect. The venue was beautiful, the staff was extremely down-to-earth and friendly, and care was taken to be sure that each and every detail of the day was special. Most of all - we loved how the farm was brought together by a group of loving family members and friends. As someone who has planned many events - I know how difficult it can be to bring together all of the details of a day. So - thank you!! We love a family run business that supports the community and is doing good things for our world. We wish you all continued luck and happiness at the farm ... and for those of you who are considering a visit - do yourself a favor and go!

Sunflower Hill Farm is the best wedding venue!! The reception area, ceremony venue, and house are so beautiful. Karen, the owner, has created such a lovely space for all kinds of events. The staff is truly what sets Sunflower apart from all others. From the very beginning of the planning process, Carla and Karen made me feel so secure in my decisions. They helped me through any questions I had. My mom and I became friends with them throughout the whole process. They treated us like family anytime we asked to walk through the property. When COVID-19 happened and couples started rescheduling their weddings, Carla called me right away to reserve a back up date. The day of my wedding, I was not worried about a thing because I knew that the staff at SHF would take care of it. I absolutely recommend this venue to anyone!

I can't say enough great things about Sunflower Hill Farms. Freya and Quinn kept in contact, adjusted things 1000x for us and over all made the day 100% perfect. Chance of rain, crazy family, and a late florist on top of normal wedding day jitters were all taken care of with no questions or issues. Freya and Quinn have the patience of saints all while running around like crazy to make your day perfect. Ty again ladies ♥️ and we can't wait to come visit for lunch!

You won't regret going with this venue! It's in a gorgeous, peaceful location. Freyja, the wedding coordinator, is amazing to work with. She was creative and flexible when we needed it most. Went to a friends wedding here tonight and it was truly beautiful. The venue was fantastic and was probably the nicest place that I’ve ever been to for a wedding reception. The food was definitely the best that I’ve ever had at a wedding reception. I have no idea what it cost to have a wedding here like the one I went to tonight but I’m sure that everyone was satisfied with the results. I can’t say enough about their staff, everyone from the young man who drove the golf cart shuttle to the people who bussed the tables and the chef could not have more accommodating, they did everything to make us feel at home. This place knows how to hire great people and they love working at Sunflower Farm. My wife and I are going to go by there sometime for lunch.

Beautifully designed home with views of gorgeous scenery from every window. We stayed at the Sunflower Hill Farm Estate for a family vacation. We were far enough away to disconnect but close enough to enjoy the local cuisines, shopping, and attractions. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance you may need while staying, but cooking isn't really needed as the cafe is in walking distance. The cafe serves the best lattes, the food is delicious (the cookies are a must have), and the staff are the most friendly people I have ever met. 10 out of 10, I highly recommend and look forward to vacationing here again.

I am absolutely in love with this place! This family owned farm is a perfect getaway for any occasion. We spent Christmas on the farm and it was gorgeous. Dinner in the wine cellar was something out of a movie. The cafe had such great service and amazing coffee. They also have wine from all over the world! I highly recommend to anyone coming into town or for a local staycation!

I got married here in October of 2022, and I can not say enough positive, amazing, nice things. Carla, Karen, and Rob were truly so amazing to me, my family and all of our guests who attended. This place is truly special. I only wish I remembered more names to give them credit. Every single person was amazing. Thank you thank you to the entire staff at Sunflower Hill Farms for making our wedding day a truly magical day. I felt like every time I turned around Rob was there to offer me a drink or make sure I had everything I needed, Carla just radiates calmness and Karen is just the sweetest person you will ever meet. They really have things down to a science over there. Things just run so smoothly.

Sunflower Hill Farms is a fantastic venue. The staff and owners are hardworking and super friendly. The property is full of gorgeous landscapes and is perfect for any event. I held a baby shower for a friend that turned out amazing. I also attended 2 end of year construction company parties hosted there and everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place for any event or just a lunch in their cafe they are the best 👌

Darling place. Would be fantastic for any event one would love to have in a country setting. Staff extremely friendly. Enjoyed a really tasty lunch on their outdoor patio with a fantastic background of plants, trees, chickens and beautiful farmland. The Cuban sandwich was wonderful. Very well done and so full of meat that one wpuld not be hungry for the rest of the day. The lavender lemonade was delicious and flavorful. The hint of lavender was really nice. The chicken salad was very savory with it's hint of curry. Afterwards we shopped in their little store and purchased beautiful farm fresh eggs in lovely colors from their on premise chickens. The store has homegrown spices, local honey and jellies and several interesting gift items. So happy we decided to give this truly sweet place a try. Will definitely be back.
