The place is very cute and well put together. It looks so warm and inviting. But the customer service and coffee was awful! My sister and I walked in and there was no one around, we had to wait on the barista and when she did come to take our order there was no greeting or any communication from her aside from when I thanked her for my drink. She was not pleasant or welcoming to be around. We were planning on staying to enjoy our drinks but she made it so awkward to stick around. I ordered caramel latte and my sister ordered the caramel macchiotto, and both were extremely acidic and we weren't able to take more than a sip. Ruined the whole experience.

The shop is so pretty! There are so many things to look at. Great buys for all holidays. The jams are great! I just got the Maine blueberry jam and the raspberry peach champagne jam, which were very tasty. The seasoning packs and meal starters are easy for dinners. The wine, mixers, and cocktail accessories are a must. Always a great trip for shopping. Great customer service and satisfaction.

I bought a kombucha here and didn’t realize it had expired in May until after I had finished it. Soon after I was very ill and puking. Called this place to let them know to check their other beverages and they did not care and were dismissive. If I could give 0/5 stars I would. As a type 1 diabetic it is very dangerous for me to throw up after taking insulin, this place obviously doesn’t care about the well being of others especially their customers.

Nicely set up to be an emporium of sorts, very quaint. The staff was very friendly. But after a lengthy browsing, most of the "specialty" foods, crafts, and fun knick knacks were clearly mass produced, so the prices seemed very high. The attached bakery had only a handful of obviously store bought items for sale with inflated prices. In both cases, I would be willing to pay more money for handmade items, especially in the bakery. A missed opportunity to showcase a more unique or traditional line of products. Room for improvement.

Two stars because it's obvious the owner has spent a lot of time making her store beautiful, but these are mass produced items and they're being sold for extremely high prices. As a business owner for 20+ years, I would never over charge because I'm the only store selling a can of soda in the area. Shopping is supposed to be fun and not make you feel bad. I felt very taken advantage being charged $4.19 for a can IBC Rootbeer. That's unacceptable. I would not return, just extremely business practice. There was a few items that I probably would have bought but I could purchase them anywhere for a lot less and feel good about doing so and I would even pay a little extra to support a business but you shouldn't try to make all the money you can on each person it's just not going to work that way you're going to lose more business than money that you make.

Just left Augusta Emporium, what a beautiful little Winery town. Everyone was very welcoming. Met the owner Mr. Hoffmann. Super nice and down-to-earth gentleman. I wish him the best ! I will definitely be back to see what he's going to do with the rest of the town, new coffee shop, new Lodge and Golf Course. Thank you everyone for your hospitality!

The Emporium is a delightful place to shop. Additionally, Kayla, went more than the exta mile in trying to help me locate a B&B room for the night. She graciously placed several phone calls for me before finally finding an opening at a lovely B&B in Agusta. The Emporium is a must shop stop in Augusta, MO. A great store with wonderful, welcoming and helpful staff.Thank you Kayla
