Used to be good but has gone horrible recently. Just found out a box of Mac and cheese I bought from there expired back in October of 2022!! I've had way too many instances of coming home and finding mold on food that you can't see through the packaging or finding my food is expired. If I spend my money at a store I expect to not have to worry about it being expired or molded when I get home. I will not be returning, this has happened more then a dozen times and I am done wasting my money on them.

I don’t know what bums are running this place the last few years but it’s went downhill. I have received several items lately that were expired by multiple years or had mold just sitting on the shelf. Watch what you ring up because items frequently ring up higher than what they say on the shelf. The self checkouts will also glitch and take your cash but not count it. Had to wait two days for cooperate to come in and verify that I had put money in as the store cannot look at its own cameras. What a joke

Great for a quick run in to get an item you need without walking miles through out the store!! I love their fried fish at the Champs Chicken Station!! Just like I had when I was a kid!! The store is clean and the staff is very helpful when you need items!

Its a good small grocery store; There are a handful of Moser's around Mid-Missouri. The service is good, but the pricing is more like a convenience store.

Wonderful customer service! My husband dropped a bag of potatoes without noticing it & our clerk ran it out to him while it was getting ready to storm. Such dedication! Worth a grocery stop.

Limited selection of produce, and overpriced but high quality.Dirty interior floors, friendly staff, great selection of alcohol for a small store.Won't be going back anytime soon unless for a single item

Great place to shop. Shelves full and store was clean. I was on the way to a birthday party and needed to grab a few things, was pleased with selection that Moser had available. Only draw back to whole experience was the guy running self checkout seemed bothered we went through there. But hey maybe he was having A bad day

Friendly employees clean store electric handicapped carts are always charged up and in good working order unlike another Fulton grocery store who I will not nameThey also have the best meat anywhere. Prices are good.

You definitely have to watch their "best by" and expiration dates. Especially recently we've come home with SEVERAL things, including meat that smelled bad, that were no good! :/ Quality control is important 👌🏻

Bought 10lb box bacon-old tasting. Bought chicken breasts same day. Tough and old tasting. Also bought 2 packs pork chops. All smelled old and tasted old. Meat should never be sold like that. I'll never buy that junk again

The food was delish and they had real burnt ends! If you are ever in Ashland and enjoy good bbq, you need to pay them a visit!!!!Burnt ends on Friday's and Saturday's and Steve the owner said he fixes some amazing pork steaks on sundays and Tuesdays!

I live in Ashland and I will only go to Mosers if I don't have time to go to Jefferson City or Columbia. There are several things you won't be able to find there. Produce is usually picked clean. Watch the expiration dates!! I don't know how many times I've gotten stuck with something already expired from here (including meat). I've learned to look at the expiration dates first and it's amazing how many products are expired there! We've taken expired items to the front before so they could dispose of them and they did not seem happy with us and gave us a look like they were just going to put them back on the shelf after we left. I'm so excited to be moving back to Jefferson City and not have to come here anymore. If Ashland is growing like it plans to, Mosers needs to kick it in gear before a good grocery store opens for competition. I truly believe the only reason they have survives is because they are the only local option.

1) For the love of God, please ask the cashiers to not be eating while they are checking out customers. It's gross, rude, and disrespectful. And please don't smack your gum or chew your gum with your mouth open. 2) Also, please ask the cashiers to not have conversations, especially personal, with other employees while checking a customer out. Even if it's a business issue that needs to be discussed, please ask the cashier to excuse themselves from what they are doing with the customer before talking with the employee. 3) Likewise, I find it annoying when the cashier who is checking me out answers the Moser's phone while she/he is checking me out, especially if they do so as they are trying to give me change. This is unprofessional. One customer at a time, please. It seems to me that the cashiers who do this are sometimes trying to come across as stellar employees because they think they can multitask. This is not true. There needs to be other employees who are available to answer the phone. 4) Finally, it seems to me that employees sometimes 'hang out' in the front office when there is often a line of customers waiting to be checked out. It seems to me that the cashiers who are out on the floor working have to ask for help more often than they should have to - the customers waiting to be checked out have priority. Whatever you are doing in the office can wait. And when you do come out of the office to check customers, a simple "Sorry you had to wait" goes a long way in the customer's eyes.

I used to shop at Ashland Mosers almost every day. Recently I bought some cherub tomatoes there and when I got home they were moldy. I called the store and talked with the manager, who said she would replace them. I came in the next day to get more tomatoes and at the check out I noticed they were moldy also. Really? I called and complained about that and a couple of other issues, no carts inside at night, cashier sitting on a milk crate at register, beer cooler not stocked, refrigerated product sitting on the floor unrefrigerated for several days (remember I was in there every day and noticed product that should have been refrigerated sitting on the floor outside the cooler on Thursday evening and the same stuff was still on floor unrefrigerated on Saturday..... Anyway, called the store again and the manager gave me her supervisors name and number. Called him and he asked me to give them another chance. I did so on Saturday out of necessity. I needed pita bread. Bought three packs and when I got home and opened the package, they were also moldy. All three packs! I called the store and the manager on duty told me that moldy bread wasn't their responsibility because they get it from the bread distributor. DO YOU SELL IT IN YOUR STORE? If the answer is yes then it is your responsibility, duh. I asked her to have someone call me, which no one did. So far in December I have spent over $800 dollars in the Ashland Mosers. No more. I will drive to CoMo or Jeff City rather than give one more cent to a company who clearly does not care about quality product OR customer satisfaction.

Convenient place to shop. Nice staff. Be sure to check experation dates on things you buy. I have heard of people buying items that are past the sell by dates.

It is the only grocery store in town and convenient since others are 15 miles away. Nice people!
