I was really impressed! The prices were great, and the store was really clean and well organized. The sales prices were phenomenal. I actually had expected the higher prices that usually come with shopping in small local stores, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The cashier was super friendly and made us feel welcome. I wish this store was closer to home!

Great grocery store. Happened to be in the ash grove area and thought I would pick up some items needed. Stumbled upon an amazing meat deal. 5 for $25!!! My family will be grilling steak and enjoying the finds here all week! I wish I lived closer. This would be my new go to grocery store. The staff was really friendly and i bought 3 mums for $10. Couldn't find any complaints about this place.

The staff went above and beyond to help me get the groceries I needed. They were very polite. The store was clean. The only problem I had I had to use the electric wheelchair deal and their temporary Isles that they set up there just wasn't enough room to get around some of them but my driving is not the best in the world also I would definitely recommend you shop there

Thankful for this local store. They have good quality meats and good sales on them.The produce section could be better, but I know produce is tricky to keep fresh.Overall, they are s good small-town grocery store and a blessing to the community.

I love this little store. The employees are pleasant and helpful every time I go. I do wonder about their system of stocking their shelves, but I just ask when I can't find something. Wish they had a deli for picking up a quick bite when needed.

Just moved here and it's the only store in town!!Prices are higher than Springfield by far.Employees are super nice people!. In fact go out of their way to help in many ways...thank you guys!! The Manager (Sandra) and her employees are Angels.They play such an integral part in helping people.MR PENNINGTON GIVE THEM ALL A RAISE!!

I don't shop here, often, but I was very pleased on my last visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The selection of merchandise was good and the prices were very reasonable.

Not the cheapest place to shop,but it is very convenient,but this is Ash Grove,everything is convenient. Decent products,Produce is old and disgusting sometimes.Lady on register one needs to be retrained to bag groceries, basic rule #1, milk goes in a bag by itself,not with 2 large cans of ranch style beans,big bottle of table syrup,large block of cheese and a bag of potato chips.7 pizzas shouldn't be in same bag.3 bags of potato chips and 2 containers are too much for one bag.And she was rude when I commented about putting less per bag.I was not very pleased with my experience this time.

Some prices are a little insane. Today I noticed something priced 8.99 that I just bought in another store for 5.99 regular everyday price. Also watch as they ring you up, 3 things I bought today on sale rang up regular price. It's nice having a small country store in the area but they seem a little greedy.

This place has great sales and prices. The employees are mostly positive and easy to talk to. This is a small town store so if your a regular they will remember your name!

The as the only grocery in town, it's great to pick up spur of the moment necessities. As others have commented, they are a bit on the expensive side. Customer service has been fair, but I would expect better from a family business.

New to town and tried out Penningtons. Very high priced and extremely poor customer service. The cashiers don't even hand you your bags. You have to reach behind the cash register to get your own bags. I would rather drive a little ways to Republic or Clever than go here. Plus it's very run down looking, and dirty. There were A LOT of dead flies in the drink cooler yesterday. Yep. That's where I want to buy my food...

Quaint little store and they actually have a lot of stuff. It looks like a small store but once you go inside it is much bigger than you think and they carry a lot of items, which is good because you're kind of in the middle of nowhere in Ash Grove. I love this store!

Penningtons; Ash Grove is lucky to have such a personable, reasonably priced grocery store that is rounded out with nothing less than the best employees. Saundra does a super job keeping the store stocked with all the stand bys and new to the market groceries. I have felt for a while that Ash Grove should honor Mr and Mrs Pennington in some way.

The absolute best grocery anywhere. I shop here daily. Why? It's a great place with lots of sales and the best staff anywhere. It's like seeing family on a daily basis.

We bought two cans of enfamil newborn formula here. My three week old baby started vomiting the next day and threw up for two days. We checked the formula and it had expired two months before. My husband went back and couldn't even exchange it because they didn't have any in stock that wasnt expired or about to expire. Also, formula has a two year shelf life so that's how long it had been sitting there. Please review your process for checking expired items, especially those given to infants and children.

I buy all my Groceries there. They have good buys. You have to watch at checkout to make sure you get charge right. I still give them thumbs up!
