My mom and stepfather live in the countryside a few miles north of Halltown, and this Dollar General opened in 2019. What a pretty update! Not only that, BUT I was fascinated by the interior, which looked urban to me in contrast against its location in a rural region.

Kate, Harley and the gang are very professional and friendly. I have been going there ever since the day it opened. It’s been great watching the store find its place in this very small community.Once Kate took over the store it has done nothing but blossom. I shop here two or three times a week. Hopefully the store will get produce soon and slowly take more of my business from Walmart.Great people

Bought a ToastMaster coffee maker here, and took it home and ran water through it twice, per the directions. Made the whole house smell like burnt plastic. We then tried making a pot of coffee with it and the coffee tastes like burnt plastic as well. Tried to return it, and we were told they said we couldn’t, because it was now used. Now we are out of money to buy a new coffee maker, and have a coffee maker that makes undrinkable coffee and makes our house smell like it’s on fire.

The employees are wonderful. They Greet you when you walk in. They are very helpful anytime I need help. The Manager Brook, is Awesome. She keeps a Very Clean and stocked Store. The restrooms are Always clean and stocked. I am so very pleased with DG building this Store in Halltown. Thank You Dollar General.

Dollar general is the new yellow Walmart , every little town in the lower fifty should have one . The goods are cheap but fairly durable , the clerks are effecient and generally friendly , and the prices are good.

One of the larger DG stores I've seen. Things are well organized, not cluttered, great selection. Stopped here while traveling. No searching for someone to check you out. Staff is attentive and friendly.

This location is very good for haltown but there is a couple rude employee's. You should be able to ask for help finding items without the employee's being rude..yes there is an epidemic right now but even on the truck days while they are unloading and putting stuff up for some reason I cant find simple products.. could someone please help this store? Managers or Dm's? Thank you

This is the worst dollar general I have ever been to they have extremely rude employees. Also they never have any product in the freezer or coolers. They also never have anything that I need for my children no clothing of any sort, no medicine that I need most of the time and a whole lot more I I absolutely think this dollar general is the worst place to go to I rather deal with walmart

Need to hire employees that show a little more work ethic. Third day in a row that I know of that this store was not open on time. When you have set open hours someone should be there to open.
