Called and was able to get same day appointment on sunday to have my pups nails trimmed. The young man was so kind to my dog, and you could tell he loved animals. I was impressed with how gentle he was.

Store associates are friendly and helpful. The products I purchase are almost always in stock and at great prices. The store is also super clean and organized; it's apparent that they maintain the animal habitats very well.

The store was clean but the cashier was pretty creepy. I didn't get his name but he was a middle aged man. My friend and I were concerned and he kept talking while we were trying to leave. He didn't put any of the stuff I bought in bags either. He didn't offer a bag either ? I just carried my stuff out.

Petco will trick into signing a yearly contract at the checkout, claiming it is monthly and that you can cancel easily anytime and not be charged $9.99 per month anymore. Their website and App does not let you cancel at all. The toggle to turn off the yearly renewal does not function. You cannot remove your debit card from the account. Customer service states they can cancel your yearly membership but doesn't mention they will still charge you monthly. They just say you can still use your rewards and discounts. Well, I would hope so if I am still paying... smh. I told them that it is not right to force someone into a contract unknowingly and that I will be contacting the BBB, I will write this review to caution others, and remove all funds from my debit account so they cannot take my money anymore. Once it goes to collections, I will dispute it as well. Besides that inconvenience and greedy practice, they overcharge for everything. I will never return nor will I recommend Petco for anything. Buyer beware!!

If you're looking for a nice clean pet store, you did not come to the right place. I have purchased feeder fish from here about 5 times now, and I live about 5 mins from them. Roughly 5-6 dead fish out of 20 in a bag. That's really bad. Floors are crazy dirty, and the service is about as well as the fish are maintained. Management must push these people beyond a normal working level, or the workplace is just entirely normal to such low levels of standards.I would not recommend buying food or asking for advice from any of the staff. They could definitely be very good people, but the Management have put there stamp on what they want from the stores profit point.

Improper husbandry for baby dragons and geckos. When notified the store manager i was told they have already had to remove multiple. But it is corporate policy on how to arrange the tanks and it was out of their control. So basically they just had to let them die... I have purchased reptiles from this store in the past and they had correct husbandry to a reasonable extent but this is simply negligence

Online store hours do not match actual store hours. Super misleading. Drove 40 mins for a specific ferret food. Arrived at 6:57 pm, to see the door says 7 pm close time, Online says 8. The girl thankfully let me in, clearly annoyed but rightfully so. Please fix it to where your online and actual store have the same hours.

Very unsatisfied with what I had done!! Took my kitty in to have her hair trimmed by her butt and I specifically told them to take it down very short and when I got her home and looked at her it looked like it wasn’t even trimmed at all!! Not happy!!

I have had a 55 gallon tank for 13+ years never any problems. I bought fish here so far have got ick 2 times from the fish and year or two back got a black alge from that store. They need to clean up the tanks really good and the Farmington store also. And wherever they buy them from considering changing. I'm out so much money and refuse to buy any more fish from them. All they say is bring back and test water. I'm not spending more money to drive 45 minutes away to fix the stores problems. I'm done with Petco stores. Bad customer service. Your lucky if they last 2 weeks.

Went yesterday to get some insight about fish. The lady that maintains the fish is VERY rude and sarcastic. She shouldn't be working with the public. And the fact she referred to the store as "her store" really makes me not ever wanna shop here.

I started going to Petco seeking out reactivity. So i can desensitized my K9. It was a rainy day. So my options where limited. They had a lot of inventory to choose from. Found a gentle leader and toenail clipper. While i was there . Everyday is opportunity to train you and you k9. Message me if you’re in the area and need help with you dog to. I charge Affordable rates . Many opening available.

Love the Trainer/Classes - Love the Grooming - My baby girl is treated like a princess. She enjoys her time there. She also gets play time with other dogs her size. Just visited Santa for the First time at Petco - that was a special treat.

It was alright. For some reason they seemed a little light on certain stock items. The store was adequately clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was pretty focused on my needs so I didn't really spend much time soaking in the ambiance. It was a perfectly fine shopping experience.

The associates were very nice but the store was out of stock of a lot of things and very disorganized. I prefer fenton location since it's bigger and usually more stocked but they were out of the type of litter my cats prefer

I came here to get sand for my fish tank. my problem with the store is not with their products, but with their animals (specifically the fish) they had beta fish in small plastic containers and some of them looked dead. places like this should not be selling live animals, and I'm not sure if any of their staff knows anything about caring for exotic pets. however, this is not in regards to just this Petco, but all of them. overall, DO NOT BUY YOUR FISH FROM CHAIN STORES!!!

Like any pet store they are very expensive they sent me a lot of emails saying they had a pen on sale but when I got there instead of 40 some-odd dollars it was $80. But I did well online with it so that was good

I just can't say enough about the groomers. We have a 10 mo labradoodle who still becomes quite anxious with new surroundings. They were wonderful with him and they did a fantastic job. We were very pleased with the results. Special thanks to Heather. We will definitely be back.

The fish tanks weren't as clean as they should've been. I overheard a worker talking about some of the fish being sick and they didn't know why, which seems about right if they aren't properly cared for. They didn't have much of a variety when it came to the animals. They also had a few step stools in the middle of aisles which made it difficult to push my cart and be able to look at things.

My Bella, a Shih Tzu, loves her groomer Emily. Emily is also the manager of out Petco's grooming salon. We have been going to Emily for years. Simply the best. I wouldn't use anyone else to groom my Bella.
