So I'm on the road and it's so hard to find food that's actually decently priced. I came across this place looking through Google maps at what was ahead for food and thought I'd try it. The prices were good and they have a really good selection even for me being vegetarian. They offer county gravy without sausage as an option as well. So we very happy with that. I was actually quite shocked at the portion size being as big as it was. The food was nice, hot and fresh. Tastes of southern home cooking and I was in heaven as I haven't been able to have a meal like this in well over a month. The girl who took my order over the phone, Nikki she greeted me so politely when I walked in to get my take out order and was so welcoming. The girl in the back who cooked my food, well man can she cook! I will def make it a point to make sure we stop there every time we are over here this way coming through with a load. I am already planning my next order. This place is def a gem! Do not hesitate to stop!Vegetarian options: They have a veggie omelette that is amazing. Other vegetarian options as well. For the biscuits and gravy they offer a country gravy with or without sausage

Good but now great. We were driving from KC to Joplin, and stopped by for lunch. Sandwich was processed meat, and not put together. Salad wasn’t anything to shout about. Over all I would eat there again to try a burger or some other item. Tots were good.

We're from out of town, walked in and waited to be seated (no sign that says seat yourself) waitress curtly says 'you can set anywhere' so we veer to the right, amd she snaps 'that's smoking' (we are non smokers) but that isn't the reason we left, we left because the waitress didn't acknowledge us the first few times she passed by us and was rather rude. The restaurant was not busy when we walked in, the waitress was complaining about the quality of the bacon to the person passing a plate to her from the kitchen, and basically ignored us. I would say for future customers, ask your waitress to greet people. Not everyone is local and knows that you can seat yourself, and try putting a smile on your face and be kind and welcome people instead of running them off. And complaining about the food you serve makes a customer second guess eating in your establishment.

The waitresses r sweet an kind ,very tentative, the food is great ,, the Chicken fried steak is tasty and plenty ,mash potatoes ,they dont mind hard work ,because they r real potatoes and Not instant ,green bean are like my Grandmas ,yummy and the Chocolate pie is out of thos world , you really shoudbtry it , and the prices wint break the bank . Thank you Mamas Kitchen for the best ,its worth the long drive

Mamas kitchen always does a great job on breakfast, but tonight ordering their dinner they were lacking. I’m not sure how these would be considered chicken strips you would want to serve a customer. Definitely disappointed and will just stick to breakfast.

Great place for bfast-dinner. Food was hot, pork spicy egg rolls, tenderloin and onion rings were great. Blonde hair waitress was excellent. Not once was she on her phone. Always cleaning or restocking something. My hats off to the Veteran Marine. Thank you for your service to our great country.

Be pretty cool if I could rate on a scale to 10. Absolutely love this place. Staff is top notch, food is top notch, nothing like small town cookin 10/10 five stars isn't enough. ***edit*** the broasted chicken is to die for!! Not sure where it's been my whole life, missing out if you don't try it. The pulled pork, mouth watering goodness. I could rate just about anything on the menu, pick at random, you won't be disappointed

Have eaten there several times. On the down side it's a little pricey. On the plus side the sandwiches are good, broasted chicken is great, (it's cooked to order so there is a wait), and the onion rings are wonderful, best I've ever had. The server was nice and prompt. Veterans, ask for the discount.

Been debating on stopping in for over a year. My wife and I finally made the trip with our herd of five. We were able to walk in and set down immediately. Our server came promptly and took our drink order. From there it was a bit before recieving our drinks, but when our server returned she apologized. Our cups never went empty, our appetizer of potato skins came out in a timely manner, were hot, fresh and great. When our food arrived I was impressed with my oldest plate it was the mama burger. I had the Philly and tots. I will say I think the portion sizes on my plate were lacking, leaving lots of visible plate, however the philly was good in flavor. The tots while not crunchy they were cooked well, hot and the flavor was great. My wife had the patty melt and onion rings, which they were freshly breaded. She loved the flavor of her food. My daughter said her grilled chicken sandwich was good. We will definitely make another trip. One appetizer, two kids meals, then four sandwiches with side plus drinks was only three Texas twos.

We were wanting breakfast at a local restaurant and found them on our Google search! The food was GREAT as well as the service. Oh my, the homemade cinnamon roll is a MUST HAVE!!! The prices are very reasonable and large portions are served. The coffee was only $1.39 come on folks check this place out! We met the owner Nikki and I must say she is a hard worker. She was right there getting the orders and doing everything as well. I love supporting small businesses trying to make it on there own especially in these times!!!!

Stopped for lunch with the family. We sat ourselves and noticed immediately a very tense dining room. A young lady came to take our drink order but was stopped by the table next to us because they had been waiting before us. There was a major delay in food coming out to the tables. We saw 3 different tables get up and leave after not receiving drinks, menus or service. We stuck it out and waited for our food. They forgot one of my kids meals, our sides on 2 and dessert for 2. It was probably just a bad day for their restaurant but any type of communication or apology would have been appreciated.

Food was very good and the hostess/waitress was great. Friendly and recommended the hamburger and fries. The burger was wonderful but I was not impressed with the friesI had hoped for home made but the fries were the frozen type that Burger King used to sell. The desserts looked really good but I was full after the burger.

We want to give a BIG shout out to Mama's Kitchen in Archie, MO for their show of Patriotism. Just after walking in the door, they have a table set aside and have it set for the Fallen Soldiers. Never before in my life have we ever seen this display in any Restaurant we've dined at, even on Veterans Day. My Husband served 21 years in the Air Force and this touched us so much. Keep it going!The food was good as was the service. We will eat there again. Thanks Mama.
