My dog got shot 3 times and they were able to get him in and for like 80 percent cheaper then everyone else it was a little more then $1200 to have his leg amputated and stay for 3 days. My baby Apollo came home today his 3rd birthday and he was so excited to be home and he gets along great. Unlike blue pearl in lees summit which is the pet er we took him to (cost 3000 to tell me he needed his leg cut off and they wanted 10 Thousand to do it. They refused to give me any meds prescription for him for antibiotics or pain meds even tho Apollo was shot in face neck and his leg which was dangling pretty much and had bone and muscle hanging out. They would not do anything even tho his surgery wasn't for over a week. Even had me drive 2 hr saying I could pick up a prescription they wouldn't fill the order.i requested w chewy. I got there and they wanted to see Apollo again and charge another 985. They are for the check as to h&e are in it for the animals all staff were great and super friendly and all around amazing.

H & E west MO provided free vaccines during a community event to my three dogs. The vet who worked with us did them with absolute precision and swiftness, especially considering that one of my dogs is extremely reactive and liable to bite.He was in a muzzle when we arrived but that did not deter the doctor who ensured that the shot was quick and as painless as possible. Out of all of my three dogs not a single one so much as whimpered, it was truly the most positive and stress free experience possible all things considering.I would definitely go back to this place for shots. While I have not needed any of their other services, I would be willing to trust this doctor to proform them as he was very kind and professional to both me and my animals while also making sure things went as quickly as possible for my annoying little ankle biters.

My tiny Yorkie Baby Doll went into labor early on a Saturday morning. I called the Emergency Number, and the Dr. met me at the office. Scrappy ended up being born in the van 5 minutes away from the hospital. He was great! They are always great people to deal with there! They truely care about the animals!

My small dog was attacked and had to undergo a surgery with a different vet. I wasn't pleased and there were complications. I called H&E and they got me in same day and got us on the right track to healing with another surgery that was done top notch! Dr. Karen has been a blessing during this time. I had questions after 4 days and I was able to text a picture so I wouldn't have to make a drive if it wasn't needed and they were able to tell me she was okay and didn't need to be seen until her appointment. I highly recommend this clinic. The staff is great and prices are affordable as well! We will never go anywhere else again!

They have always treated us and kids with the UPMOST RESPECT AND CARE. They would even call to see how they are.Today we received two cards from them. I brought my horse for a same day appointment- I was happy they were able to still take us in despite being a new client. The doctor was sooooo patient with me given my 1 million questions. I’m really the worst but I will definitely continue coming back and looking to possibly bring all of my animals here. The vet was amazing. The staff was nice and helpful as well.

The staff are so friendly and care about all animals I have brought in. All my animals have been seen by them. They are very reasonably priced and will work with you on getting what you need for your pets. The atmosphere is clean and doesn't have a pet odor like some animal places.

All the vets are awesome. The staff are also very caring and personable. They care for all our animals: Quarter horses, miniature horses, dogs and cats. We have always been able to get hold of one of the vets and excellent at calling us back when we have a problem or question. We highly recommend them !!

These guys are some of the best vets around! They feature Vets that specialize in both small and large animals respectively and this is the ONLY place I will take my fur babies.Doctor David is a professional and amazing Vet who takes the time to ensure that not only he understands what is happening with your pet, but you do too. And when that hard time came last year when our dog had cancer and there was nothing more we could do, Doctor David went above and beyond making sure there was nothing we could do for our boy before we made that hard call. He was compassionate, understanding and helpful. We even received a beautiful condolence card from the entire staff at H&E.I can't give a review that is glowing enough for these amazing vets. Please do yourself and your fur babies a favor and visit these guys from now on. Big or small animals, they've got you covered.

You won't find anyone better! I've had sketchy experiences with vets throughout the years. I dread anytime I have to go to someone else besides H&E. I live in Butler and still drive 30 minutes to go to here. The vets are nice and will take the time to talk about treatments/options. The people who work at the front desk know a lot as well, and if they don't know something, they will flag down a vet for you. Price is good. I go here for my cattle and small animal needs.
