Let me tell you about one of the Ozarks best kept secrets. In the little town of Alton sits this unassuming grocery store.You'd probably drive right by it if you weren't paying attention. But don't do that. Stop in and check it out.Not only is it a grocery store. It is also a gun/outdoors shop. They also have just about everything else you can think off.Last time I was there they had 10 pounds of bacon on sale for$20.Ten freaking POUNDS of bacon for $20... that's an insane deal.

I use to love shopping at this store. I was so disappointed to know that the deli had a slicer and the honey ham that I needed but yet they would not slice off a chunck of thier ham so I could take it home and dice it up for my cheeses ball I make at Christmas. I use to think that keeping the money local was what I wanted to do but since i was told they would do it in Thayer then Thayer. Is where I will go.all of the time.

I like the Alton Harps Food Store. It's where I go to shop. Very friendly service every time. Competitive prices and weekly specials is what they offer.

Nice clean grocery store, prices are a tad high because it's a river town but other then that the service is great and they seems to have a wide selection of everything. Plus they always have clearance items and home items.

I love the garden supplies and plants by far the worst meat department out of any grocery stores the meats are poor quality poorly cut and chicken looks like they left it out for 3 days before they packaged it, when they have the Tyson that's not packaged by them it's good management must have no quality control

Ricky, offered to help Kelly & myself today , by putting our goceries into the car while it had started raining. He did wait on us by putting all our gorceries into car asking if we wanted our cokes in our hands. Other wise giving just good old fashion service. I say That I felt like giving him a kiss on the cheek. Course Kelly & I were in our mask & gloves, so hard to give personal service. I think I might have met him another time, as I ask Kelly if she knew who he was cause I was so surprised at his friendly service.

Good grocery store in a small town with a very good sporting products selection. You might find better fishing equipment, and hunting equipment but a specialty store is required.

For a small town this grocery store is excellent. Has everything from produce and meat to guns ammo and camping gear. It also has pretty darn good hours.

The selection can be somewhat changeable, but they will always order what you ask for if they don't have it. Their staff are always helpful and polite.

I went on a GOOD DAY... They HAD plenty of meat choices...even GOT a FEW packs of hamburger..on markdown😃 groceries ARE expensive everywhere..so can't complain TOO MUCH about the prices.
