As I walked into the Piggly Wiggly store in Wiggins MS (the poorest state in the USA) I was greeted with Christian music on the intercom. Nice touch. Then I proceeded to buy a gallon of milk. $5.19. More than the convenience store less than a block away. Meat prices were very high and found out, poor quality after cooking pork,chicken and ground beef. Staff was very friendly, but did not, by any means, make up for the blatant price gouging that this "Christian " store imposes. Shame on you for over charging for your profit. I highly recommend you boycott this store and any others that dont care about the ppl. I know I certainly will.

You pay more , but less crowded than Walmart and easier to park. The employees are nice the deli has good food and their sales are good. Has a lot of good southern groceries as well.

Nice being one of the few shopping at night. Staff is always helpful and great customer service.The photo was taken for a different reason. However, if it's real I speculate it's worth it. Lol

In the process of changing over from Piggly Wiggly to Food Giant. So was a little chaotic to say the least. Lastly, The prices keep going up. Unless you catch a sale, or lucky enough to get there in time for daily markdowns, buying everything needed for a home becomes such a task.

I just love the name of the store. I don’t live in the south so I make it a point to visit Piggly Wiggly every time I get to Mississippi the store was clean and had everything I wanted except a Piggly Wiggly T-shirt.

This store as well as the store at Lumberton need a good deep cleaning. I've been going there off and on since my child hood 30 plus years and it's never smelled as bad as it did when I went in there Saturday night. It was awful. It smelled like a kitty litter box that was way over due for new litter. I don't know if it's from the milk coolers not being cleaned or what but I had one bag of groceries I put in the front of my car. My car stunk the rest of the night and part of the next day. I'm not lying or joking.

She told us they had no brown sugar smoked ham at the deli. There was two in the deli case right there. Tried to show her they was right there, but no, she refused to look and insisted that there was none. It was right there. So we put everything back and left. Guess she didn't want to dirty the slicer or just wanted to argue. Nobody wants to work these days, Sad and frustrating.

The cashier at Piggly wiggly was very professional at her jobs when it came to checking me out at the register. She was very friendly and polite. The rest of the employees was very friendly and polite as well.

The staff is great, they are friendly and welcoming.The prices are low, if I was to compare i would say something like save a lot, but cleaner, more variety, fresh cut meat, also name brand products. Love this store.

Love the pick 5 at Piggly wiggly, best breaded chicken fillets and catfish fillets around at a reasonable price, don't forget to grab the banana pudding. It will make you crave, your grandma's homemade banana pudding. The fresh meat department is priced right.

They always have what you need. Customer service is great. They are a tad pricier than most stores, but the meats are better quality and cheaper. This store ALWAYS has a bad smell from whatever food the deli cooked that day. I think they need better ventilation.

Cleanest Pig I have been too. Family has done most of its grocery shopping here for generations. Prices on some stuff is outrageous. But the sales they have are usually quite good.

It's a great place. It really has that personal touch. Great meats. Best prices on meat. But be careful with the deserts. It don't take but one and you will be as hooked as I am. If I'm in. I hit the place every night for strawberry pie. Bananna pudding. Oh my. And the chocolate. I better hush be for someone else get hooked . Great place.

Prices are what you'd expect from a local small grocery store, but their sales are great! Also, love the $1 aisle. Customer service is awesome, and nothing better than their fried chicken!

Has some of the best fried chicken you’ll ever put in your mouth...taste like what Grandma used to make...for about $10, you can get a 16 piece mixed chicken and you cannot beat that price... way cheaper than fast food fried chicken, gotta get there by 11am before lunch rush if you want sides, plus it’s when it seems freshest in my opinion!

I'm not a regular shoppers at this store. I traveled from out of town to visit relatives. But while there I decided to shop at this store. I know prices have changed alot but when I looked at reduced meats and compared to regular meats, buy the regular meats. That's all I can say from my one visit!!!
