(6✭) Rameys is a Half way decent small sized, small town grocery store. They have an eatery in the back and the place seems pretty clean. HOWEVER, it is extremely Expensive for no apparent reason other than being located in a fairly small rurally located town...AND perhaps b/c it's primary (possibly ONLY) competition is Wal-Mart down the road.Pros:+ Location: It's not in a super busy shopping center where you're fighting for parking spaces. But it is off the same road that connect the Walmart side of town to the rest of the town which can be Busy.+ Facility: Is Neat & good on cleanliness/organization+ Has a food counter with a small eatery in the back+ Provides Traditional & Self-Checkout options+ Staff seems niceCons:+ Selection: Is NOT satisfying for Restrictive, Plant based, or Non-GMO diets.- It's exactly what you might expect for a "Bible Belt" small town, There are almost ZERO Organic, Non-GMO, Vegetarian, or Vegan products or options with a Half-Gallon carton of Almond Breeze Almond Milk being upwards of $4 (6/20/22). Granted these items don't seem to be in demand from the locals almost at all.- Produce section is very small.- Products are NOT your favorites & in no way enable you to justify spending as much as you will here.+ Price: Extremely Expensive. Most locals will tell you it's "Bougie", w/o telling you it's Bougie

Hot food is served all day breakfast food stays till closing at night as well as all the other food that's cooked early morning you salad bar is uncovered sitting in the middle of the floor and not kept cool or covered... You can find employees standing about sample the food and as you walk up they will serve you...but food needs better cover up mainly the salad...

Ramey has a butcher on site handicap parking a deli that serves breakfast and lunch, fresh produce at reasonable prices.

Best customer service! I had an emergency that a friend of mine needed groceries. I called them up and ask if there was anyway they could get an order for my one friend that needed food asap. Since certain stores in that area couldn't offer it at a reasonable price. They suggested a gift card. They called there manager to make sure they could do the order over the phone, they told me it is possible, they processed the order asap for my one friend to pick up the gift card and it was at a great reasonable price! I recommend "Rameys Market Place" to anyone that needs help asap. Thank you so much staff!

Very nice and helpful staff. Most times will go out of their way to help you if possible. Not like Walmart at all. Rameys also will have items when Walmart runs out. They are truly your friendly hometown store. Waynesboro and surrounding community benefits greatly from Rameys. Lots of people don't like shopping at Walmart where you can't get help either. I recommend shopping there and their deli has good food as well. Both savory and sweet. Better birthday cake than Walmart's also.
