Amazing experience!!!! Helped mu son and I with adopting a service animal for his epileptic condition, made sure he was fixed and constantly checked in on his incision. They still check on us to this day ♡♡

I had a stroke 10 weeks ago... the cats I was caring for I can no longer take care of... this isn't the only bad review I made... I thought these places were suppose to help u when u were in need of serious help.... apparently I'm wrong ...they don't return my phone calls...our sorry government needs to have bigger and better shelters built and more of them. Their name is second chance? That's what my babies need... I didn't ask to have a stroke.... I just need help with my kitties... alot of them are already spayed and neutered... some blued siamese. Tabbing. One Russian blue several more 1 long hair seal point male siamese neutered

The people who run and volunteer for this tiny, donation funded shelter care about their dogs more than anyone I have encountered. They have what is likely the lowest death rate in the state if not the entire south

Hated my experience here.. my dog and I are from Miami visiting my family in Water Valley and of course bad things never happen at a good time and my dog got loose and the water valley pound picked him up and the b.s started from there.

I have contacted this establishment to inquire about the dogs they have and no one will return my calls. They don’t have a website for me to look at. I want to give one a second chance and long term home. They don’t seem interested.

My puppy’s adoption process was incredibly easy thanks to his sweet foster mom and the staff at Second Chance.
