Every employee we have ever talked to at pet sense has been so friendly and helpful. We stoped by the other day and pick up this cutie! A little pink toed tarantula. Named her for Alainna one of the friendly employees there! Alainna at the store was so sweet and helpful! So happy to have a pet store in town like this one!!!

I'm used to Petsmart and Petco, this store seems to be overpriced with little variety. I guess for a small town it's good since they don't have other options. The worker was nice and the store was clean.

Great place the staff are always friendly and everything is clean. The pets that they do sell are kept in great condition. I got my pet here a few months ago and it has had no problem of any kind.

I got both of my dogs groomed here, and I won't be back. Both the women working there were very young - might have been teenagers, so I hate to be mean. But there were several issues with the services I received and when it comes to my animals, I take quality seriously. To begin with, I was told they couldn't schedule me later than 10 am, so I managed to make time to get there then, only for them to tell me the groomer wouldn't be in until 11. I was then told it would take an hour, so I came back at noon. My dogs were being fussy, so it took an additional hour and a half. Not a big problem, but they didn't notify me before I drove back and popped in. Then when I came back at 1:30, I discovered both my dogs were capable of sneaking out of the kennels in the back and did so at least twice. I was there for them to get flea baths, but one of my dogs never stopped scratching, and I believe he never stopped having fleas. They were both very eager to leave, which is usually not the case when I get them groomed. The store itself was okay, but like all pet stores that sell animals, they were in bare minimum cages, which was sad to see. One of the lizards was trying to climb out the entire time. It was an arboreal species with nothing to climb on, so it just clawed at the glass all day. Not unusual at all for a pet store, but it's certainly not a good thing.

Staff is always friendly and eager to help. Groomers do a very good job on My chihuahua and German Shepherd’s nails. I have only one complaint. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and nearly every time I visit the Vicksburg store the staff members are standing right near the entrance smoking.

I brought my 8-year-old golden retriever mix here and they did such a quick and fantastic job on her. She is a rescue dog and had a bad start in life so she doesn't trust people but she instantly warmed up to Skylar. I'm so happy with how well of a job she did and how loving she was towards my dog. I will define be bringing my pets back to Skylar everytime!

This little "boutique" is clean, friendly, and offers pretty related equipment. The staff seems caring and fairly knowledgeable.

7/8/21: unfortunately, a lot of the old staff, if not all of the old staff left earlier this year. the new staff is.. okay I suppose. one employee is very polite. the others, not so much.. before the mask mandate was over most of them would not wear a mask even when they were directly in someone's face. its whatever. I no longer have any animals so I do not go as often as I used to.original review, 2 years ago: very kind workers, cute cats to adopt, and good place for getting a fish for a first pet

Store clerk friendly and ready to help. However they did not carry live mice only frozen mice. Informed me their were no live mice sold in Vicksburg. Great customer service.

The prices are high, not alot of selections, and kindof a dreary place. One the employees was standing outside smoking and never spoke and not even when she came in and neither did the girl at the register. Not a very friendly atmosphere.

Petsense is amazing! The last time I went to Petsense, my mother and I got 3 fish and they were awesome. The employees are so nice and one time I thought they had kittens, but maybe or maybe not I don't remember. Petsense is great. They have great employees that will help you out when you are clueless (like me) when it comes to pet foods, toys and pet needs. The groomers are awesome because I know dealing with my grumpy Shi-Tzu (Steve) isn't fun. Many thanks to the entire Petsense Vicksburg team, let me know when you ladies start grooming cats, I have a grumpy young cat that needs expert grooming as well. :)

Petsense is a great pet store. There used to be good groomers there, but lately they've not done so good. Leaving matts in dogs tail, uneven cut jobs, 3 paws done, 1 not. But they did offer to correct the problem.

I took my puppy in for a grooming and told Christina, the groomer, what I wanted and she did the total OPPOSITE! I had a fluffy puppy going in and he came out looking like a crackhead bc she shaved him COMPLETELY BALD 😡. I will NEVER let her groome my baby again!!!!

Called to set up an appointment to get my dog groomed & the girl on the phone said she didn’t know what time the groomer would be in for the rest of the week & didn’t offer to find out either. i’ll stick to driving to Jackson to Petco & Petsmart!
