Happy we stopped and sad we didn't turn back around and purchase more Sweet potato balls! Scrumptious, if you like sausage balls. Tons of sweets to choose from. A friend of mine chose the Sweet Potato Crunchies and she has went on and on about how tasty they were, as well as the Sweet Potato muffin tops. While I'm confident in one thing, the Sweet Potato dog treats were a huge hit with our Boyz. One culls nothing and one is extremely finicky; both were happy and waiting for more, plus they are healthy snacks. Hope to see y'all for the Sweet Potato festival 😋

The staff is so kind my family has been going to Sweet Potato Sweets for years. This started with my father driving from Starkville to buy several boxes each year. My brother and I carry the tradition on since my father's death. My brother was there today to buy six or more 40 lbs boxes of Potatoes, and a few pies. We love the store.

Love love love their sweet potato pies! Sausage balls, cookies, fudge all made with sweet potatoes and all worth the trip! These pies melt in your mouth good, travel through Vardaman this is a have to stop. Friendly people, they are not nut friendly so keep that in mind. Love Sweet Potato Sweets. Awesome Vardaman Sweet Potato Festival is AWESOME!

Everything that is delicious with the addition of having healthy sweet potatoes in the items. It is THE place for delicious gifts to ourselves and, if we have to, to give to others. Southern hospitality and fine foods all combined. Between my wife and I we favor the sweet potato pecan pie and the sweet potato German chocolate cake. To be honest, I also deprive the dog of the sweet potato dog treats when I don’t need quite as much sugar!

Ya'LL have just got to go in there; trust me you will not be disappointed!!!Vardaman Mississippi is THE Sweet Potato Capital of the WORLD; hence Sweet Potato Sweets!!! The cakes, pies, breads, and YES SWEETS are all made from Sweet Potatoes!!! The pièces de résistance in my humble opine is that you can actually buy straight up good ole MISSISSIPPI Sweet Potatoes from the Sweet Potato fields of Vardaman Mississippi!!! Don't hold me to it, but I think you can get (maybe?) them in 10 and 40 pound boxes.

I didn't know you could use sweet potatoes in so many ways. The place smells fantastic and the pies were very good. I will come back next time I'm in the area. Go and give them a try yourself.

If ever you're driving down Highway 8 going through Vardaman MS be sure to stop by Sweet Potato Sweets! And if you really want the finest in sweet potato based cookies, pies, breads, candies as well as the best of Southern Hospitality, a short drive from almost anywhere to Vardaman would place you in the sweetest, little store/bakery you'll ever find. And if you call them, I'm sure they would be more than happy to send one of their delectable treats right to your front door. Whether you love sweet potatoes or not, this little shop will have you coming back for more time after time because everything they offer us pure delight!I buy their cookies and breads as gifts for my circle of girl buddies. This IS a great little store!!

What a treat! This is a cute store attached to a sweet potato processing plant and bakery. Everything made on site. Handicapped accessible, ample parking, easy to spot on hwy 8 in Vardaman. Couldn't resist cookies, bread, fudge. Had to leave, pies, cakes and muffin tops behind because we ar traveling. BUT, they ship!

If you're willing to do some traveling to enjoy delicious food then this is place for you!!! The town of Vardaman, MS is literally in the middle of no where and, surrounded by miles and miles of nothing, but you would be hard pressed to find anyone in a 100 mile radius that's never heard of it. That's because Vardaman, MS is the sweet potato capital of the entire state! If you're sitting down for a slice of sweet potato pie after supper chances are that those sweet potatoes came from Vardaman. The shop sells ALL things sweet potato and the staff is friendly and helpful. Give them a try if you have a chance.
