This is a newer location but it is really nice. It is densely packed with merchandise. The lay put is intuitive, like you just seem to know where to go to find what you are looking for even if you don't really know where it is. Everything is new inside and the employees are very helpful. The location also is super convenient for the community it serves.

This store is absolutely the cleanest and most together of all I've been in. As a former manager with this company and others...i say well done to manager and her staff..VERY WELL DONE! Ps it was about 5 min till closing and the cashier and asst. Very very nice and no ugly faces you get when they want to go home..thank you.

Can not stand dollar store these days there all so cluttered and unorganized these days . this one is good for the most part the workers aren't so grungy like they don't wanna be there. All dollar store need to start taking pride in there employees they don't get paid enough for what y'all expect them to do. Keep it up DG workers just know some of your customer do care and understand.

This is my favorite Dollar General! It’s very clean, and organized. Linda, the Manager, always greets customers with a smile... and has trained her Employees to do the same. It’s a great store!

Love this dollar store. I frequently shop here on my way home from work, or my way into town; however, tonight, the girls working the counter and clean up, were very rude and their attitudes were unacceptable when our family came in to grab just a fee last minute things for the night. When I instructed the cashier that we weren't going to be getting a certain toy tonight after checking the price, She proceeded to sigh loudly, roll her eyes and throw the toy with umph and attitude. I get it. It's late, we are ALL working our a$$ off during this covid BS, we get tired and cranky, we all do. Just try not to take it out on your customers by rudely yelling "we are closing in 6 minutes.!" then the other one said again " we are closing in 5 minutes!" laughing and saying "oh I think they heard me" and "OH I KNOW they heard me that time!" smh. We're all in this together!

This is a really nice Dollar General. The nicest I have ever seen! I went here because I could not find a calender or black acrylic paint anywhere in lower Vancleave area. Maybe next time I'll check the gas station. I didn't think of that then. Anyways, I found the black acrylic paint at the upper Vancleave Dollar General. So clean of a store. Its like a mini Wal-Mart. I'll probably go back there again just to change the scenery.
