Wanting to checkout. Went to register where someone was working seconds before. Waited. Looked over my shoulder someone had started checking at register behind me. Did NOT bother to say “Im at this register ?” No because she wanted to checked out lady behind me. Not me. I walked out.

I have 5 complaints about Walgreens on MAIN ST, in Tupelo, MS#1- They RARELY answer the phone, I usually end up driving there just to speak with someone. IF they do happen to pick up you'll have been on hold from anywhere to 10-45 minutes!#2- They've been out of stock on 2 of my medications. Not only did they run out already this month, they also ran out multiple times last month, the month before that & the month before that! Which is no concern to them to not stock enough medications being as they're certainly not going to try & help resolve the situation plus they can't even provide any information on a time frame of when they will have the medication. Just simply "The truck might come tomorrow, it might not & if it does, we still might not even get the medications then & we have no idea when we will or IF we will have any of it all"#3- Drive thru wait is INSANELY SLOW! It averages anywhere from 20mins-1.5 hrs!#4-There have been numerous occasions I have dropped my prescriptions off to be filled. Came back to pick them up at the time they requested. Not only did they not have it ready but they also make me wait another whole hour plus have to make an extra trip back. Simply bc they could not manage to stick to their OWN TIME FRAME!! RIDICULOUS#5-In the store part, the bathrooms closing at 10pm is very aggravating & annoying & closing the store down at night due to being short handed?? Is that not part of being a Manager!! If the place of business a person "manages" literally has to close the doors due to not having enough employees, it just seems like that would be a prime tIme for a Manager to STEP UP & do their job instead of shutting the store down!

I’ve had terrible experiences repeatedly at this pharmacy; many different types of terrible experiences during the brief period of time I’ve lived in this area. After 5+ weeks, I’ve never been able to successfully pick up any of my three prescriptions that have been brought in, sent in, faxed in. Doesn’t matter. It’s the exception that someone behind the pharmacy counter acknowledges a customer, and it definitely doesn’t mean the customer will get prescription. Tonight I was scolded by person at pharmacy counter for asking about my prescription on a Friday night - at a 24-hour pharmacy. Dealing with this place will result in a need for medications for anxiety and blood pressure. But guess what - you won’t be able to get them there even if they pretend they’re getting them ready.

Called and requested a prescription refill, told them I'm from out of town (60+ miles)... gas prices $4.50...Suppose to be 180 pills...Arrived 2.5 hours later to pick up prescription. They had 10 pills, said they would have the rest sometime MONDAY and I could pick them up then. That equals 240 miles driving.Charged me $14 for 10 pills, whole 180 pills was quoted during call to be $43...They will screw you if you let them...

The customer service at this pharmacy is absolutely terrible. They refuse to help with any type of irregularity even when the fault is caused by them. In my experience they told me my daughters prescription could not be filled because my insurance had her birthday wrong. After being insulted in front of other customers and verbally threatened if I did not leave I was able to speak with a manager and my insurance to determine it was actually information entered incorrectly by the pharmacy that caused the “irregularity”. No apology was given by the pharmacy workers. They would not even make eye contact with me. Not exactly the service one would expect when you simply need to fill a prescription for an antibiotic for your sick child. Especially when you have had the same insurance for her since birth and KNOW for FACT there has never been an issue with her birthday before.A true disgrace to the profession.RUN don’t walk to find a different pharmacy.

I am DISGUSTED! I have waited (patiently I might add) for 2 years, on a refund. This refund is several hundred dollars, so not "a couple of bucks no biggie". The amount shouldn't matter, because it's MY money, but it's important to me. This refund is due to negligence of the employees, to begin with. Having information not belonging to me or my children, too many files on several members, employees not willing to do but bare minimum to help (customers and fellow employees)... a mess. I spoke between insurance and walgreens employee for hours, correcting information walgreens had and was asked by myself to do. After poor customer service and help at the local store, I was forced to spend hundreds of dollars without any true explanation. After 2 years of speaking with both walgreens (many employees over 2 years) and insurance (also alot more people in 2 years) it was a simple answer. Now I am still given the run around. Speaking with Records, Billing, Retro, etc NO ONE HANDLES REFUNDS... seems like theft at this point...

Had a prescription for my son’s ADHD medicine. Had to drive to Tupelo to fill it. Normally we have to get it at the Barnes Crossing location. They were very nice & said the crosstown location had the 90 & we expecting us. We got to this location & gave the prescription which the white female reviewed & told me to return in 20-30 minutes. I returned in 40 minutes & then told by same female it still was not ready & I can’t get it with 90 only 30. I said ok & then she told me to wait another 20 minutes. I told her I would wait 5 minutes since I had waited so long. I drove back around the building & no one was in line. She attempted to chastise me for not waiting again. Before I drove away, I took a picture of the sign showing their hours because it’s too hard to read on the glass. As I pulled away, she yells “did you take my picture?” I stop & say why would I take your picture. This person was rude, argumentative & disrespectful. I will find a way to file a complaint on her. After another 10 minutes I got back in line. She made it a point to put someone else in the window. Between leaving Barnes Crossing & getting what I came for, it took 2hours & 10 minutes.***DONT go to this Walgreens pharmacy***

On Sat, Feb 15, I went to the North MS Med Urgent Care after being on antibiotics for 2 weeks because I was not getting well. I was hoarse & barely able to speak or breathe. I was there from 4:35 pm to 6:54 pm (total). I was given a sinus cocktail shot around 6:30 pm & was told my prescription was being sent to Walgreens at Crosstown in Tupelo. I asked for it to be sent to Memphis but they were closed so the Doctor insisted I get it tonight. I had to wait for 10 minutes before I could leave to see how I reacted to the shot. It took me about 15 minutes to get through traffic and get to Walgreens at 817 Main Street (Store 6771). When I pulled up to the Drive Thru, I believe 2 or 3 cars were already ahead of me. I waited and then pulled to the far right lane and still had to wait because a car was in front of me. I was on the phone with my sister from 6:56 pm (called her 3 min after I left doctor) for 43 minutes which would be 7:39 whiLe I was in the drive thru. A white male pharmacist with glasses asked me to move around & said 30 min for wait then said 20-25 min. I asked him why because I was ill. He said it's a POLICY. I told him I didn't see it outside in writing for customers. Then a black mgr Rodney said my insurance was not going thru & I needed to come inside. I said I've used Walg for 1.5 yr with same insurance & I was sending my card thru shoot. He said I HAD TO come inside. Then the white male asked me again & said It's not in writing. He said "Okay, I understand". The next thing I know I see police cars flying in parking lot. They finally walk up to me & in shock the cop says "We got a call about an irate customer who wouldn't leave" he said "I apologize because we expected something totally different." I called back & talked to Mgr Rodney & asked him why the police called. He said the pharmacist named Clay called but would not release his least name. Rodney would not release his own last name either nor the original white tech. Police told me I was going to jail if I didn't move.I left without ANY of the medications I needed. I was told 1 of 3 medications were not in and I pulled off because a LIE was told in order to get me to move. The first thing I want to have done is for the pharmacist who I NEVER spoke to or had any interaction with who called the police UNDER FALSE PRETENSE AND MADE FALSE ALLEGATIONS is to be FIRED. The police have never been called on me. I am a college graduate with a Master's degree in education who has ALWAYS been a law abiding citizen. It’s one thing for me to be assertive and say no I wasn’t moving because I would have been waiting longer. I want the tape or surveillance pulled of me from the time I pulled up and left. It will show or possibly if audio is available you can hear the conversation that took place. I was never irate. I am sick with an infection and can barely speak. I just refused to move because there is no policy displayed to tell customers the wait. I was asked as a courtesy. Police were called and I was embarrassed & humiliated under false allegations. I have shopped for Walgreens since I have been in the world. My family has shopped there. I was lied to by Rodney to try to lure me in the store then I was lied on by a pharmacist I had NO interaction with in order to get the cops to respond. One cop was actually nice and apologized but the other copy was awful and said “Do you wanna go to jail?” I didn’t even raise my voice with him, hopefully body camera will show it if they have it on. I want the name of the pharmacist so I can file a complaint with the State Regulation of Compounding Pharmacies. Next, I will be taking legal action swiftly if there is no response to my satisfaction.**No Manager...(not one) has called me in 2 months and I've filed 2 complaints. I could never get through with the office in Deerfield. As soon as the public is opened, I will be taking legal action.

It's a typical Walgreens store in stock and layout. This is the main, 24 hour (subject as always to COVID-19 needs) pharmacy for Tupelo so it can suddenly become crowded and/or jammed within pharmacy ordering, consulting with a pharmacist, and picking up. Pharmacists and staff are helpful and friendly but obviously so busy that they are not available to easily speak with customers or to provide timely new and refills fulfillment when orders exceed their capacity. You also know that's the case when the automated voice response system gives you a 36 to 48 hour pickup time for your one prescription.

Cannot say enough nice things. Can’t remember his name....maybe Brandon. Tall sweet guy in scrubs.. anywaysGood old Wally World gave me the run around about my child’s medications. Breo, ventiolin and his epi, jr.they are all extremely expensive medications that I cannot afford on my own. tried for three days to get them to solve it. No luck. Supposedly waiting on the dr. Came in to Walgreens down the street. Within less than two hours. I had all my sons prescription covered on insurance. I have since moved my five member family’s medications to Walgreens. They are obviously constantly busy but so far very impressed with their customer service. The short red haired girl was also helpful. She was willing to take the time to answer all my questions on the inhalers and epi jr. so I would give a million stars if I could. Thanks Walgreens

One star is too many to give to this awful place. I never give bad reviews and try and find the good in every business but this pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Never in my life have I ever seen something so horrible. I will never ever step into a Walgreens again no matter what.

Service sucks. Stores reek of corporate culture of failure. Corporate doesn’t care about customer experience only how to maximize profit by hiring less and less qualified people. Didn’t want to give them even 1 star but had to in order to post clear and accurate view.

I stood in line for 15 min at the pharmacy with many people just walking by looking at me. The worst customer service EVER. Then I finally get someone to check me out and she tells me they don't have any medicine ready. I had called 2 hrs prior. That place is a joke.

Called 3 times and all 3 times I was on hold no less than 20 minutes. Had to hang up and call back because I had to hold so long. I understand it’s busy but phone customers are important as well!

I love this drive thru. The employees here are far more customer oriented than even the sister stores. Best pharmacy in town and open 24 hrs

The wait time is ridiculous. I was given the run around for 5 hours (kept telling me two hours, have to pull prescriptions in a certain order, it’s ready, no it’s not ready). Terrible!
