UPDATED REVIEW. I left a very negative review on this place a couple months back because of the man behind the gun counter. I have been back in this establishment several times since then and have not seen him once. The experience was COMPLETELY different. I enjoyed talking to the young man behind the counter for about 20 minutes while he showed me several handguns and shotguns. This is the customer service and simple hospitality that a good gun shop should have. I was greeted by everyone working in the store right as I walked in the door and overall the experience was much much better. I even decided to waste $50 on a 100 round value pack of 9mm just because. Experience was great but the prices on guns is still much higher than everywhere else.

Staff is a little rude to those of us who need help with selections, but they do have lots to choose from. Know your stuff about guns and you will probably fit in fine.

This is the ULTIMATE outdoor store for me. There are several words that come to mind when describing doing business with Hunters Haven. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly, helpful and actually care about finding you the firearm you are looking for or can offer great suggestions at very reasonable pricing without pushing certain models on you like some other stores do. Everyone I have personally dealt with from Hunter, Austin, Ken, Brad, George jump out of the top of my head but there are several others that have been helpful in every way possible. I work in the service industry myself so I truly appreciate all their efforts, they care and it shows. Plus the selection is outstanding. I can't wait for the newer models to start showing up that were introduced at SHOT Show earlier this year. I have 3 on my mind right now. Plus they do stuff like silencers, full auto, etc.(the tax stamp stuff). Basically it's a one-stop shop for everything shooting, hunting and fishing. As you can tell from my review I and a huge fan. They treat you like family and I respect that. They have earned a life long customer in me. I apologize for the length of this review but i have to give credit where deserved. Worst customer service possible. Staff is unfriendly unless you have that yuppie rich look about you. Staff will not approach to ask of you need help and when you do ask they have unfriendly attitude like its a bother. Also its sad when a gun store doesn't know the codes and regulations when it comes to open or conceal carry. Fyi they are also cowards.

Very disappointed. Poor customer service. Staff will not help you unless you approach them and ask for help and then they act like it offends them because they are busy socializing with the other employees. They are also uneducated on gun laws. I’ve been in this establishment several times and am always disappointed when I leave. My final time going here!!

Only complaint is that a couple of the employees seem to be under the impression that just because someone is 18, they don't know anything about firearms. I felt horribly disrespected when I asked to look at an AR-15, and even after the employee looked at my ID, he was hesitant and almost cringing to allow me to give it a look over. Once I was finished inspecting it, he pretty much snatched it from me when I tried to hand it back to him. Other than that, great place. But younger buyers beware. You may be treated like a fool.
