Arrived at this store in Tupelo at 10:33 AM, and it is closed.All lights on and door locked. Store hours posted are 8:00 AM til 10:00 PM. Tried calling the phone number shown, no answer. There are 5 cars with customers waiting to shop. Is this how to run a business???

Kelley, the store manager, is absolutely amazing! Since she's started managing this location, the environment is a lot better. She's also always helpful, professional, and kind!

There was this big girl at dollar tree that was nasty and the manager is just as nasty they must had been sisters . She was sooo rude. I was checking out the lady in front of me asked her to put the card in separate bag she was nasty to her . Then she rings me up and I got one too many birthday cards so she snatched it rudely and said something smart like she would put it up. So before I knew it I went off. The manager comes out just as rude . Talking. Bout drop it like I’m a child. Cause who you talking to? Like I’m like they had to been sisters . For one you don’t tell me when or how to quit talking. If I wasn’t in leadership I would of probably have them a nice hand print 💯

There is a lady who is usually at the first register, her spirit is awesome. I'll come in to shop regardless, but she really does make the experience a pleasure. No matter how rude a person is, she doesn't allow them to steal her joy, to treat other customers kindly.

I rarely write reviews, but I came into the N Gloster location this morning to buy balloons, and was met with the worst attitude. I am the most understanding when it comes to being short-staffed or having a bad day, as I’ve worked in customer service for years!I asked the cashier, who was the only employee around (she was busy but I thought she could call someone to help, which she did.) Afterward, I asked the woman who walked up there “I’m not sure if you’re who she just called! (bc I wasn’t sure if she was, or was busy with something else) but I wondered if I could get some help with the balloons?” And with an attitude said “…What about the balloons?” Mind you, we’re still up front near the register, so I assumed we’d walk over to the balloon display so that I could show her which ones I needed… She didn’t move toward them, so I just told her I was hoping to get 15 blown up. Very quickly, she responded with “Well how am I supposed to know which ones you want?” I was getting 3 different designs I had already picked out, so I planned to show her when we walked over to them! I had just told her what I needed help with, surely she didn’t think I was going to leave her to pick out 15 balloons for me! I said “Well, I’m going to show you which ones I want…” We finally walk over to them, and every balloon I had wanted was out of stock, and most of the other ones that were out, had a sign. So she tells me they don’t have that one, that one, or that one… I understand the employees can’t control what they have in stock, but it was certainly more irritating after how I’d just been treated. I drove to the other nearby Dollar Tree location and received much better help.

Very nice Dollar Tree. Except it's $1.25 tree. It was a much better bargain at $1. Now several of the same items I can just get at Dollar General for $1 which is less. And our local Dollar Tree closed without warning. No one knows why. Now I only shop there if I happen to be in the area for another reason. The poly bubble mailers of different sizes are one of the best deals. Also, I would always get makeup wipes there as well. In the past year or so they have been out several times. The Skin Nutritions retinol face cream, serum, & dark circles eye roller are legit. These are other items not always in stock. And I have scored huge boxes of flavored Cheerios & even Frankenberry cereals when they were $1 there & over $5 everywhere else. Staff is very friendly at this particular store. And store is well organized & not cluttered. I would warn anyone don't buy Dollar Tree batteries. That may seem like a good deal. But they don't last long at all & will ruin your item they are in due to how badly they corrode. Even the Panosonic brand does this. I completely ruined a faux flower planter with timed lights because the C batteries corroded & were discharging liquid that was pouring out everywhere when I went to change them. Overall I would shop there way more if local & a true dollar store. The price increase is definitely not worth the gas out of town.

Shakesha aka Smiley was just that, she had such a wonderful personality and was kind and welcoming to each customer. This Dollar Tree hasn't seen that in some time cause most of the time employees are rude and short. When the line got long the mgr got up from working to help. Make sure this young lady is acknowledged for her personality!!! 😊

Oh, The line -the service people just stood around (except 1 who was checking)until the line was almost at the food coolers. The manager, the little blonde walked out several times(now this is when managers usually assist, but she didn't; she must have been on break or something. It looked bad). This went on for over twenty minutes today.

The girl that works the night shift is one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. Me and my elwhole family stopped going to this one because of how absolutely disgusting she is with customers

There was a line almost to the end of the store (on the inside).There was only one check out person for Bout 15 minutes.They finally added 2 more and we got out in about 5 minutes.Kuddos to the one checkout person!She kept her head and temperperment in check through it a!!

I love shopping at the Dollar Tree,because they have a lot of good stuff and everything is just $1. They have everything from, flowers, party supplies,food items, household items, cleaning supplies,auto supplies and much more.

I couldnt even shop because the employee (Viola) followed me from the time I entered the door. Talk about being profiled. I wasnt too dressed up the day I went since I was just getting ready for my vacation. I didnt know you had to wear a suit & tie to a dollar store. I figure thats why she started following me. I Didnt end up buying anything but some nail polish since I didnt feel at all welcome in the store. She didnt ask if I needed any help or anything just proceeded to follow me on every aisle I went on. It was ridiculous!
