I live out of town and when I travel through Mississippi I always take my older Labradors to Amy’s Posh Pups. The grooms are extremely professional and I have been very happy with each visit! The owner Amy and her staff take very good care of my fur babies that I have no reservations leaving them. I know my pups are cared for with love and they are so happy when they are there. Plus they are so soft and smell so clean and fresh when I pick them up! An amazing crew! Thank you all!!!!!

I went here several times and unfortunately my small dog left the last time utterly traumatized. I could tell something had gone wrong when the owner brought him from the back herself and made the passing comment "he was just a difficult dog today." She seemed visibly nervous and for several weeks after my pup would shiver and withdraw at the slightest gestures towards him. Additionally, I found several razor cuts on him. Maybe this place is fine with bigger dogs, but I would not recommend bringing your Maltese here (or a dog with sensitive temperament that might require more patience when grooming).

Had our daughters dog groomed while we were traveling. They were quick, very friendly, and did a great job. Even showed us tricks on how to save money. And what type of spray to use on the dog to keep it from smelling like a dog. Would recommend them to everyone.

I made a last minute appointment for my sisters pug. When I brought him in he was obviously anxious and not wanting to be there but the owner grabbed on his face and then carried him in to be groomed. After I came back and was waiting on him she mentioned how he was being difficult with trimming his nails (all pugs are) . After some time she carried him back out and tossed him to me saying she couldn’t cut his nails and to take him to vet. I understand that it was difficult to cut his nails but she should’ve handed him to me instead of TOSSING HIM. He had fur flying everywhere! Worst place for anxious dogs. A dog groomer should know how to handle them.EDIT- i looked and there are some nicks on him. they definitely weren’t there before.
