Very cool store. I believe they price match or advertise the best price in Mississippi. I was just passing through so I can't speak upon Academy Sports well. I was happy with my purchase and the store in general and if I pass through again and needed something.. I would go back

No one knew anything about fishing info, and only one cashier, with a maze shelves on each side, to go through to get there. Then, a line sign 10 feet from the register. Wait till the next register. 6 people in line waiting, in this closed off maze you're trapped in. I'm very disappointed.

This place has an excellent selection of things. However, the cashier asked me "How high are you?" My response was "I'm not high dude." His response "You could have fooled me." Yeah that was real professional asking me that. I should have asked "I don't know fella, how stoned are you?"

If i could do 0 stars i most certainly would. Both Josh and Anthony never asked did i need help. They’re both white while I’m black, so we definitely know why they both asked the white customers “do they need help” but not once offered assistance to me. very bias and racist.

This place is absolutely amazing for all your sports needs! They have everything you could possibly want for sports and exercise. The quality of their products is top-notch, and the prices are really reasonable. You won't find a better place to get all your sports gear and workout essentials!

I really enjoyed taking my granddaughter shopping here. The staff was very nice and willing to help me in department I wasn't sure of. I'm usually shopping in the fishing and hunting area. I've noticed the prices are very close to online prices.Think about which exit you need when leaving. The South exit is almost impossible to make a left hand turn.

Whenever I go in here, I always know exactly what I'm going in here for. The place is clean, well organized and has enough workers around to be pointed in the correct direction if needed. The few times we have had to ask about things over in the hunting/ammunition section the gentleman behind the counter was VERY knowledgeable about the subject we inquired about.

If there was an option to give zero stars , I would have! Store was jammed packed with customers. I was shopping for my daughters softball uniform and supplies . Employees just standing around talking amongst each other and on phones. Never offered assistance and I was standing next to three of them that were propped up. The only cashier they had was working as fast as she could. The line was super long but I honestly felt sorry for her.. she was super sweet.

Got there earlier than opening time but they were very punctual and opened at exactly 8am. Ran in and had no problem finding exactly what I wanted. The employees at checkout were very nice and helpful. Took me all the about of 10 minutes and I was on my way.

It's very clean, and the employees are helpful. I would've given it 5 stars, but they often don't carry seasonal items such as certain size grill covers that fit grills they sell in-store. Instead of stocking any, they will tell you to look online when the reason why you went to the store was to purchase something and not have to wait on shipping. The service and people are great, when they stop suggesting that I shop online while I'm trying to shop in the store, I will give them a 5-star rating.
