Absolutely disgusting, this is the worst restaurant I’ve visited in Summit. I made the mistake of ordering a chili cheese dog and the chili nor wiener were fully cooked and came without cheese.I can’t believe a business would sell something like this highly disappointed and wouldn’t recommend to anyone, this was an awful experience.

I ordered the catfish platter for my grandma. She really liked the fish and French fries. I did have to wait a while but I probably came when they get busier than usual.

Giving it one start because I called to get a menu sent to my phone for lunch. The lady wouldnt help out with getting a menu and basically just said its outside. Well I was at work and trying to order ahead. Very inconvenient.

Walk up order Windows and inside sit down diner. From burgers, corndogs, soft serve ice cream cones and fried pickles to seafood, ribs, meatloaf, broccoli rice, turnip greens, Mac and cheese, jalapeno cornbread and pecan pie. Just examples but check menu for specific days served. Added pleasures.. best sweet tea in town, friendly servers and full of community folks make you feel welcome. Highly recommend! Small place/ big hearts!

The Star has a wide variety of food. About anything you can imagine being at an old drive in restaurant. They won't come to your car like you would expect at a Sonic or Bumpers, but that's no big deal.I'd recommend their hot sausage (sausage in a bun like a hotdog), chili burger or chili fries. You can also go inside and sit down to eat, but you just don't get that drive in experience. Locals sometimes get a menu and call in their order to pickup, so remember that option if you're new to the area. Also because the menu items listed on Google are not even remotely what is on their actual menu. (lol avocado burger? Dafug?)There's usually a little bit of a wait even if you call in your order, but that's fine because you'll be hanging out in your car or talking to interesting people.
