My pup is not very friendly to strangers but the vet knew exactly how to handle him and did a fantastic job! Will be the only vet I use from now on. Office staff is very friendly and prices don’t break the bank.

Dr. Stacey is the only vet I will ever take my bearded dragons to. Dr. Stacey specializes in exotic pets in the McComb area. Not only was Dr. Stacey awesome, but the staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. A must go for any pet needs!

Visited while in town visiting my parents. The staff seemed genuinely concerned about the animals and knew my mom by name and were asking about things that is going on in their life. I could not believe the prices after the visit. I haven't seen vet prices that low in a long time. My parents have used them for a while and are happy with the care their pets have received.

Great! That took excellent care of our injured dog, maintained excellent pandemic protocols, even have him a complimentary bath! Absolutely would recommend them. Super professional care and service.

I have lived all over the country, in major cities etc. This is the best team of vets, staff and veterinary operation I have ever experienced. Everyone there is great and they seem to really care about their animal clients and human customers.

I wish I could make this rating less than 1!! I have used Southwest Animal Hospital since 2003. My faith in this clinic has went down over the years since Dr. Carrie and Dr. Rachael left. I continued to stay and use Dr. Stacy just out of convenience. But this changed when my dog was getting to be 10 years old and had never had puppies and pyometra was a great fear since my mother’s dog had a emergency surgery due to this. Once I set up the surgery I was told I could pick her up next day after surgery. I questioned if staff would be checking on her during the night. I was told no. This worried me. My fur baby is my child. I asked if I could bring her home so I could keep a watch on her bc you never know what can happen in the 14 hours they won’t be there! What if she starts bleeding out or pulls stitches or has a reaction to the meds they gave her???!!! Eventually I was told... yes she can go home with you same day BUT Dr. Stacey will NOT come back to the clinic for a after hours emergency IF something happens if you take her home with you!!! I am beyond shocked at this point!!! I’m like excuse me??? I’ve had to come to y’all before after hours and we got charged a hunk of money so it’s not like she’s gonna be doing it for free!!! I was also told that my pup would come home with NO pain medication because getting spayed is a “routine” surgery!!! There was no way I was gonna so this to my little one!!! A lonesome scary surgery and in pain???!!! I asked around and was recommended to Kents in Amite, LA. Yes it’s 40 minutes away but I DGAS!! They did pre surgery blood work... which SW Animal Hospital NEVER mentioned doing!! Thank god they did bc she already had a infection and her liver enzymes were high and dehydrated!!! All signs and symptoms of the pyometra!! So she got fluids and a antibiotic shot (yes a shot that last 2 wks in their system) and we scheduled surgery for yesterday. She came home around 2pm and got pain meds to take. AND they called and checked on her today. SW Animal Hospital will never have my business again and I have told EVERYONE I know how they were gonna treat my fur baby. And I will continue to spread how horrible they were going to be. There are many other vets who CARE about the animals and it’s not just about money or convenience!!!!

We brought my mom's puppy there for a bath and to get her nails trimmed..Well, the did cut her nails, but they are more sharp than they were before!!They should have filled them down...

No compassion arrived with emergency and cat got out door that staff was holding open they offered no help said dr wasn't feeling well and had to go. So my hurt cat is lost in summit.
